Gross. Let me say this about that little Lin Sue Cooney. She used to get her hair done at the same salon I did ... Dammitall if she wasn't on the same root-touch-up schedule as I was ...and she was there practically every time I went. The cute gals who worked there hated her like butter hates Paula Deen. She was very well-known around town to be a gold-digging-social-climbing snotty snot ( Not my words) who would get into bed with anybody who could afford her an exclusive.

Even though I'm semi rabid on Kiefer with this latest debacle, just know I am still not revealing the absolute WORST stuff he said to me (and my friend Joi) multiple times to me in and out of court re: Travis, Martinez, the Alexanders. And it's just my conscience about that being private that's not repeating it (although he did spew a lot of it right in the courtroom to Joi AND I -not that I hadn't heard it all before-talk about ANGER...more like VITRIOL)

I do not blame you for not revealing the worst stuff. No teasing!

Another DT strategy would be to subliminally give the jury a hint to start looking at what's out there in the media since his tantrum this morning.

Makes sense, particularly in light of JSS mentioning the DT turned down her offer to have the DT witnesses testify in closed chambers.

Please allow me to digest this DB interview - I was going to watch it again but not going to after I decided this interview was all part of the DT's plan today:

I consider myself to be pretty experienced with people - Been around a long time and lived in different states, countries, environments, personalities, etc.

DB seems to be very odd and out of the ordinary by some of the things he said.

Claimed there was a "whole other life to CMA" that he wanted the jurors to know about.

He referred to her as "Jodi Ann Arias" to the interviewer. He used many descriptors:
-Mature beyond her years
-Conscientious
-Responsible
-Caring
-Loving
-Hard Working
-Excellent Employee

By, golly, he watched her mature "before his very eyes". Then he said that he watched her "radically change" before his very eyes or some such BS...
He said it was Spring of 2006 that he saw this change in her. All of a sudden, she became interested in the Mormon Religion and that PPL. That did it. Oh, and she watched a movie. That was the topper he is convincing the interviewer.

OK - timeliners - what happened in the Spring of 2006?

She suddenly showed signs of:
-Lack of responsibility that he never saw before
-He had to pay all her dam bills for several months

Here is a good one: She had this Magical Thinking "WE" call it. (Who is "We"?)

He claimed that HE LEFT HER but later said CMA broke up with him because she was a Mormon and no longer wanted to be intimate. (Bwhaaa!)

Out of one side of his mouth he says that she radically changed somehow BECAUSE OF TRAVIS ALEXANDER and then out of the other side of his mouth he said in this interview that CMA seemed "Perfectly Normal and upbeat" when she left his house (after she borrowed the two gas cans that is).

He went on to say that he didn't think she had a fair trial from the beginning, he thinks the "Appeals Process" will be very interesting, and he does not believe in the death penalty.

That's all I have on that right now but dontcha think he got his talking points out? Oh, yes. This was a scripted deal...

LOL.......I'll just never get the hang of online searching. When I googled "magical thinking" as you suggested D might, not only didn't I see the editorial you want us to read but durn it, nothing at all came up about Mormons & "magical thinking."

It was only when I on-purpose Googled "magical thinking" + Mormons, that I saw links to lots, including the editorial you seem to want us to read.

But then (scratchin' my head over this one) I discovered that by Googling "magical thinking"+ Catholics, or "magical thinking" + Baptists, or "magical thinking" + Jewish (that's my team btw), or EVEN "magical thinking" + Atheists I could find lots to support most any religion can be said to have a belief in magical thinking. Crazy, huh!

...and let's not forget Snow White + "Magical Thinking", and Alyce uke: + "Magical Thinking"....they're part of Jodi's "Magical Kingdom" :mickey: too...

Why show your face now .. now he doesn't care about going public. Mentions harassment etc accusations against him, nothing he's hiding from, he didn't know Travis, knew nothing of crime. Voice cracks when he says he didn't know she was going to Mesa.

DB knows more than he is letting on. I'd like to know who 'we' is too.

Great post!! That sums up my impression of him, too. I also find odd the description of Jodi "changing" around the time she joined PPL & the Mormon Church--he describes it as completely unemotional and dry.

They lived together as a couple "in love" (his characterization) and one day she stops paying her share of the bills and forces the house into foreclosure, decides that she must become 'chaste' and he must move into a separate bedroom, etc. and it's just no big deal. That's a little strange.

I don't know what to think of DB. But I know what I think when I hear a guy stays until the gal quits paying the bills.:fence:

DB said he moved out of the house in December 2006. So where was jodi staying after that?

Is this when the "roommate" came into play? Remember that woman who came forward a few weeks ago and claimed her daughter lived with JA...

She was on Dr. Drew one night, and I was really interested in what she had to say but she got cut off...

She said it was the most awful time for her daughter, JA made the girl stay in her room... And she said that JA had MANY DIFFERENT men over all the time...spending the night etc...

This is a very strange person IMO - He seemed to have some sort of Danish or Swedish or what kind of dialect - It was different and I could tell he was very nervous. Did you notice how dry-mouthed he was? Wish we had a good body-language expert check this one out, friend...The "We" statement really caught my attention. I even wrote it down! That is when he was talking about how CMA all of a sudden had that "lack of responsibility" that he never saw and turned to this "Magical Thinking As We Call It". I said to self, whoa, "who is WE, partner"?

First, Judge Stephens made herself very clear to Nurmi today.

:drumroll:Lastly, do they have mirrors in jail cells? Jodi is probably cramming for her final exam but I would think she would need to "practice" her different facial expressions so would need a mirror. Maybe they have those stainless steel ones like they have at roadside rest stops? :facepalm:
