Well, first, I'm measuring relative strength. He's not as strong as Victims 4 and 1 (and some of the others).

The record is part of it, but he also called the Hotline, i.e. he approached LE, recently. A juror could think, "Well, he has a criminal background, and he just approached the cops after all the publicity. I bet he's after money."

Relatively, he is weaker.

Maybe. Probably. The criminal record is a problem.

However, I think the predators prey on troubled children. And those victims continue to be troubled in adulthood, resulting in criminal activity. (search NC Senator R.C. Soles)

But that's neither here nor there as it is only my opinion and members of the jury must consider only the evidence presented.

Exactly...that was one of the things we looked at when a child/teenager was acting out...sexual abuse/incest....(when I worked CPS)

I hope the state covers something about this...not only the acting out but that it is normal for the kids to not report...they are made to feel guilty and are shamed...part of the predators methods..

He has no lawyer to go after money....he was probably reluctant to come forward because of how he thought his record would be looked at....
 
I also think the fact # 10-does not have a lawyer may be a strong point

What's the deal/relevance with John McQueary "not remembering" testifying at the preliminary hearing? Why would he do that?

Absolutely! He admitted to knowing about the 1998 incident, under oath.

I tell you, this pisses me off so #@%@% much. It's like the pedos in skirts, I mean, the "cardinals" covering up for perverted priests and moving them from church to church. :maddening:

I truly hope both Spanier and Schultz are charged strongly; both on perjury and 'accessory' to child molestation (if something like that exists).
