Yes JB could have gone out and found SG and dragged her back into his house after MP left, but do you have any evidence to support this theory? Why not first focus on things that are supported by evidence before proposing abstract theories. There are about a million ideas of what might have have happened, but probably what really happened is likely supported based on facts that are actually known.

Did I just imagine he said he drove back....do you remember?.....I remember at the time thinking ...you son of a witch...you dropped her off there having no intention of picking her up...like I thought this dude is in on this...his been paid out to deliver a package. ...given his previous history...he just seems to be a man for hire..for any job..aslong as the $$$ is right.

How is it that Shannon and Brewer were supposed to have left his house at some point and Pak has never answered where she went...or at least I can't find not one single article where he gives a sensible answer to this having happened...

He's paid to drive and protect...man this dude stinks....love to know where the germ is now...

"...There are many good reasons to believe he was not involved as you just pointed out but there are equally now unfolding many good reasons why he might very well have been involved."

"... Pak is not completely off the hook."

Didn't Diaz and SG meet when she was working in NJ (Lace Party Girls aka First Professional Referral Service aka Ruis)? And, I thought I read that SG met Pak while also working for this same business... was this in Kolker's book or am I mis-remembering??

Also, IF SG was going independent and trying to cut out the middle-man... we've often wondered why Diaz didn't drive her to Brewers'... why split her money three ways when she could just share the profit with her boyfriend? My theory is that Diaz didn't drive, didn't own a vehicle. (A great number of people living in the city do not drive, and more than 1/2 the households in NY don't own a car)... so therefore Pak was her driver to Long Island.

I wonder how much Brewer was actually paying her for the evening??

Just bumping off your last thought about payment. I know next to nothing about these types of transactions but wasn't this referred to as a "party?" A party for 2??? Maybe JB set up the girl but multiple men participated? Just a thought. I admit to reading the Drifter book- wow, what a glimpse into a completely different culture. You drive a girl to her last party and you are never seen or heard from again. That automatically sets the stage of POI as well as JB. Heck, I am even suspicious of Oak Beach. Didn't the neighbor refer to it in an episode as a "different country?"After he said that I thought it implied different rules and governance. But I may have read into that comment, I admit. JMO

From the beginning I have always been concerned about Michael Pak, and now it appears at least according to John Ray, MP should come under scrutiny again.

John Ray also revealed some interesting background info regarding Shannan. For example her alleged mental health problems were only Diaz's opinion (her boyfriend and pal of MP) according to Ray.

Ray also eludes to the fact, the presence of Shannan in Oak Beach at Brewer's home was more involved and complex than a one night of sex for hire.

He also shares some interesting opinions on the 911 tapes and even if they still exist!

I've been reading through old threads and thought I'd bring back this post from July 2011. Specifically because...Over and over it's been reported that SG advertised on BP/Craigslist. So, why did Brewer contact Pak to arrange the "date" with SG??

fred & edna, This is one of the reasons I consider MP as a POI. I believe he was much more than a driver. I believe he had some sort of business relationship or acquaintanceship with some residents of Oak Beach or Suffolk County.

I think if law enforcement were to discover this relationship between MP and the residents of Oak Beach, this case would be a lot less confusing.

Specific questions.

1) Why would MP drive SG all the way to Oak Beach for a $50.00 fee, when he could have earned that much, closer to where he and SG lived? Must have been some powerful reason to do so.

2) Why did MP leave Oak Beach before Police arrived, and allegedly without SG or knowing her whereabouts, yet return the next day with Alex Diaz, who was stated to be SG's boyfriend?

3) Why did MP and AD not look around the marsh area near the road where MP last saw SG? It would be obvious to start the search where she was last seen wouldn't it?

4) Why was SG so reluctant to get in the vehicle with MP, in fact what motivated her to run and hide from MP. I think she knew by the time she left Brewer's house, MP was a threat to her. That implies some relationship between the MP and the 911 remark "They are trying to kill me"

4) If SG acted as MP was an obvious threat to her by her actions, why haven't the police focused on MP and his relationship to Oak Beach residents?

5) One possible motive for MP to be involved in SG's murder? She knew about MP's relationship with the Oak Beach residents and their activities, (SG had already spoken to the police 911 call) MP did not want any more information disclosed publicly.

I need to start copying old articles that I come across, but often something I have read did not seem significant until I read a post here. In an older article it stated MP said Shannon is known not only to him but others to have a history of running off at others jobs and erratic questionable behavior within the escort business. She had a reputation of this type of behavior. I am not advocating that this is the truth, but that it is out there.

While this may be true, to our knowledge this is the first/last time it has been documented in a 911 call and witnessed by neighbors.

I read that they worked at an agency together and left the agency to work together. He was also her bodyguard.

I do understand this. I remember awhile back during a party, a girl we knew who was mixed up with drugs, had bi polar or was borderline, and we suspected prostitution at times, was completely normal at beginning of party. She started getting more bizarre acting, and we all left together to go to another party, she ending up riding in the back of a truck with others. Her behavior had become unnecessarily paranoid of us when we asked if she could calm down her behavior. When we were stopped at a stop sign in a dark neighborhood unfamiliar to us on the way, she jumped out and ran off between house at jet speed!

I am looking at all possibilities. I go back and forth with her case if it was murder or a bizarre accident. I remember when this case first came out, her jacket was found early on by friends or family by the side of the highway a short distance from wherever you would enter the neighborhood area. I have found several early quotes in articles from the time she went missing, but have not been able to find the one I read many years ago.

If she was out of her mind running with adrenaline down the highway in and out of the side of the road and brush, there is a small possibility she ran smack into LISK, especially this being the time he was still actively placing bodies and most likely still visiting the scene. Also, he could have been driving down the road and saw a woman needing help and she jumped in the car to perceived safety.

I've been reading through the latest posts and have an idea. I know this is unlikely and borderline tin foil hat, but what if there is a group of people who get off on killing women and these girls have been victims of this? Maybe MP was some sort of provider of victims. I know this would be very high stakes to procure girls for killing but just a thought.
