Yes, DNA is currently in line to be tested by North Texas. There is a possible match to Sherri Lynn. WE are months away from having results. The family continues to search. The Independence MO PD has no resouces nor inclination to assist.

Could this have been FLEK already being tested?

It's over a year now, surely they have results back by now? No?

Linda, look at the hairlines on both sides of the forehead on the side by side of Buddy and FLEK. Looks right on to me. Then look at the right ears. Pretty close. And then the jaw structures and slight creases on the right and left sides of their jaws. Not saying you're on to something. But can't be immediately discounted either. Reminds me that someone somewhere in one of the threads thought that FLEK and her hubby were genetically related because of the similarity of their clenched smiles. I don't know, they say sometimes husbands and wives are together for so long or are so close that they take on some of their partners features and mannerisms as well.

It's anybody's guess at this point. All we can do is keep trying. Sometimes a little imagination goes a long way.

Not only that, but Linda's Buddy bears a resemblance to mom Freda Denman, particularly eyes and nose, well even the smile is similar IMO.

Attached is Freda and FLEK. I was hoping for the same semi surprised look on their faces. May be too small, fingers crossed.

Thanks, the photo comparisons are very helpful. Nose appears very similar to me, lips / mouth somewhat. Eyes ? not sure. But then some traits may have been inherited from her father, thus there would be differences.

Amazing how your friend so resembles F Denman and missing Michael. Any idea if he has ever discussed who his real parents are with his adoptive parents? The resemblance between your Michael, the missing Michael, and F Denman is just so uncanny to be mere coincidence, then again I know stranger coincidences have happened. Still, like wow. I'll be waiting to hear if you have anything new to share. :wave:

Wow sidekick! i had been meaning to put Fredas pic next to them, but HOLY CRAP. they both favor Her! I need to find some pics of Fredas family and see if there are anymore to compare to . I am sending the pics you posted of freda on top of my friends pics. It is a complicated relationship we have...as we used to be a little more than friends haha... and he is always interested in rekinlding...but ya know...married now! so nope ( me, not him)..I spoke to him via text last night, I will remind him tonight to get a baby pic. He knew about being adopted, but he never really went into a deep convo about it to me, and his adopted dad died last year around this time, so ...its still fresh to him, they were very close. At least he is entertaining me with the idea... I told him if it was him we could split any reward money, hahahaha! He has no brothers or sisters....which makes me even more suspicions, since his dad owned a payday loan company...wonder if maybe he got a BIG payback on a loan that couldn't be paid with cash. HMMMMMM. Anyone here have a connection to Floyd that could ask if he knew where Sherri/Michael were since he knew Henry?

Here is Sheri's Charley Project for reminders on when she was born.

Sept 21, 1970 DOB therefore, she would have been 38 yrs old when the pink hat pic was taken.
The baby still in her first year, so maybe close to 39 tops.

I think she was a bit old fashion in dress anyway, so that's why the clothes look older. I don't think she looks 'old' in the pic, just heavier and older....

I know that this is not our FLEK. however, it is a woman that went missing from Pennsylvania (library phone number connection?) who in my opinion has an uncanny like ness to FLEK. her mouth, nose, eyes, hair color. And, if you think of the later pics of FLEK where she is shown in her business group photos, you can see she seems to hold her neck the same. Her nose is reminiscent of the younger FLEK nose. This woman left a one year old and five year old behind when she disappeared. I do not know their sexes and have not yet researched that family further. The mouth/smile is so similar to FLEKS first photo.

Cheryl Vasquez, missing since June 1987 at age 19 from El Paso, TX

Vasquez's neck, up-turned nose, and face shape resemble LEK. There is no DNA on file for Vasquez.

Vasquez's page on Charley Project describes suspicious circumstances around her disappearance. What also caught my eye was Vasquez's husband (Robert Dismukes) is now residing in Germany. It makes me think back to the passport application of LEK which listed destinations as London and Germany. Perhaps it's possible LEK was trying to visit Robert Dismukes in Germany? However haven't found any info about when Dismukes began residing in Germany.

Does anyone know if Rachael garden has been considered? Her eyes, mouth shape, face shape + 7 years is kind of uncanny to me. I can kind of see her nose elongate a little as she aged and if she was facing the camera straight on, I can kind of see FLEK.

Her story is interesting as well and I wonder if she got into some trouble with the boys she was with and ran away because she thought she would get into some real trouble if she stuck around.

she has a cousin named Karen, possible Karen "bird" who was looking for her in 2003 because she promised Lori Lee Beren's mom that she would find her before she died. Not sure but I think she died and Karen may have stopped looking for her. Interestingly, there is a Berens working for Oregan department of transportation in Portland according to an October, 2013 employee list. :
