Yes they would know. There would be more than the normal amount of markers in common between mom and daughter. This would show that a blood relative of mom's is the father.

That's the easiest way to explain it without getting really technical and scientific - had to ask my son to explain it to me in English because the first time he told me I was lost by the 4th word! (he's Biology/Chemistry employed in AL by gov't agency).

I am sure they have to have gotten full DNA profile though - everyone obsesses about the hair in the trunk that didn't have a skin tag for full DNA analysis. I ask, what about the stain!! It was body fluids - they have toothbrushes and hairbrushes and dirty clothes - I am sure they have Caylee's full DNA profile! It just might have taken longer to get given that CA gave them the wrong hairbrush, etc...

They had Caylee's complete DNA profile from the testing JG had done. That was really not an issue. It is very simple to determine incest in a DNA profile (simple explanation)because the "father" markers are totally different than the "mother" markers in a normal DNA. Both have their family markers.

If there is incest the "father" markers would have the same DNA markers as the mother. To determine between LA & GA would get a little more complicated, and that may be why they asked both for their DNA including CA. They would "remove" the similar markers and see what was left.(which person's )

No it's not that one. You can tell it was taken outside and it was very dark. Caylee looked scared and you couldn't tell who took the picture but I assumed KC did. It was talked about early on in the case. We all wondered if it was one of the last pictures taken of Caylee (like a last pic before something happened to her). I can't think of which thread I saw it on though. I wanted to try to blow it up and see what else could be seen in the background.

She had been crying for quite a while before this picture was taken. Look at her swollen eyes and her nose.

OOPPS I might have mis read in the docs, TL apt # V sawgrass #, sorry!

I do think the men with the rope is VERY interesting

I also think that whole damn coded conversation between KC and LA could tell us a ton if only we could decode it! Could the blackjack really be a phone she "lost" on purpose b/c it was her escort phone???? And her Johns where stored in the phone, not the sim card?

Could the blackjack be a bottle of xanax?

This is driving me insane!!!!!

Your right she had.

The picture I'm looking for she wasn't crying but just looked really scared. I want to blow it up and look at it.

Casey Defense Team Member Predicts Trial Delay
Tuesday, December 2, 2008 – updated: 7:59 am EST December 2, 2008

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- A member of Casey Anthony's defense team says he predicts that her trial will be delayed. Doctor Lawrence Kobilinsky talked about a possible delay Monday night on CNN's Nancy Grace show

*respectfully snipped and moved by me*

If the trial is indeed delayed, when would an announcement be made for the new trial date? Is the defense/prosecution bound by any timeline? TIA

THanks so much, cocoamom!

:blowkiss:

This pic just infuriates me! Caylee is holding her arms out to be picked up and SOMEONE takes the blankety blank time to snap a pic???? Bless her little heart. And yes, it does appear that she had been crying for some time!

Okay, I need help brainstorming this: Why would Casey be driving around with a bag of trash taken from her boyfriend's house? Also, didn't one of Tony's roommates say something along the lines of the bag being taken and put in the trunk after the car ran out of gas?

Like this one?

OMG, I've never seen this one. This makes me very very sad.

"LEE: And please think of anything that can help find Caylee, because as soon as we can help find her, it’s going to be open and shut to get you out of there, ok darling?"

ugh. I know that a lot of brothers and sisters may say things like this to each other, but this just sends shivers down my spine. With all that's transpired with this family lately, this is just eww to me. This is from the jail call from the link above.

My brother has never called me darling. He has called me brat and a lot of other things, but never darling. It makes me go ewww too, but we're probably just reading too much into it.

I know, I'm not really implying anything by it, it was just more of a rant than anything :)

This photo of her crying makes me just sick when I look at it. How sad this is.

First of all, how do we know his apartment is #210? Can we confirm please?
2nd, here is his complex on maps.live.com (most recent maps out there). When you look at them, what do you see? I see that the road goes down to the "bottom left" and there are parking places there close to the water and far from apartments (smell)...I like the thinking here - but if Amy asked for the key to be destroyed does that mean she knows???? If this scenario is true, I am sure it would mean that LA knows -

I have driven through these apartments - they are nice by the way. The gate is open during the day. At least I think it is because it was when I drove in...
Here is link to map:

Cocoamom, I went to the Sutton Place Apartments site and was able to take a 'virtual tour'. I saw that the water there and where there were two railed wooden areas over the water. I wonder if this water has been searched? If not, it really SHOULD be. It would be rather private at night. Casey could have had Caylee in one of the rolling coolers we have seen in the pic of she and Caylee at the beach.

I honestly do think that Caylee was in Amy's wrecked car at some point when it was parked at Tony's. Also, having a car cover would also mask the smell somewhat. We had a car cover over a vintage Thunderbird until we sold it, and I can tell you it was really sturdy. It would also have been used as a wrap or top to put a body in (ugh, can't believe I am writing this).

Also, Tony would have been notified by management that the car had to be moved. Usually they would even put a description of the vehicle that had to be moved even if they had to look under the car cover to get it.

Mom2Chloe - I LOVE your theory. I believe she put Caylee in AH's wrecked car and sooooooo wish I knew whatever happened to it. We talked about this on "Where's AH wrecked car" thread.....

Maybe we will get some info on her car in the next set of docs!

As for the code talk..... sometimes I think "blackjack" was code for "Caylee".

Their conversation makes no sense --- I wasn't at Universal for fun but not necessarily for work, either...but with mutual friends. WTH does that mean?????????????

If we could solve that, we could very well solve this case!

Maybe someone should call Sutton Apts and just ask if they ever had a car parked with a cover and what happened to it. You might just get someone that doesn't know they should talk...

"Oh yeah...that car, it was here too long so we had it towed!" or something like that.

Looking at that picture...

Was the carpeting in the trunk of that Pontiac by any chance gray?

In our case the father was/is the murder suspect. He wouldn't agree to be questioned let alone submit DNA. The asked for my husband's DNA with the laymans explanation being that they would use mom/victims DNA and strip her matching markers off of my husbands, leaving only the markers he got from dad/suspect. They would then compare those markers to any dna found at the scene, but would only really have enough markers to exclude someone. If there were enough matches though it could bolster their arguement for a searchwarrant for a dna sample from dad. Unfortunately her dog was with her body for a couple of days and did major damage to the crime scene.

But my point being that they can tell a lot about Caylee's DNA by subtracting out Casey's. Do we know if they have Cindy's and George's?

I believe CA and GA voluntarily gave their DNA and LA's was supen'd

My opinion is that she used the dumpster at Tony's to dispose of the body. If someone does call Sutton ask them what days the trash is collected. I am dying to know if it was collected 2.6 days after June 16th. But I think she would have parked by the dumpster, and then shortly before pick up time taken trash down from Tony's apartment, this would attract no attention from anyone, pop the trunk on the car parked right next to the dumpster, she dropped the bag from the apartment into the trunk and moved the bag with Caylee in it to the dumpster, adrenaline probably pumping closes the trunk and gets the hell out of there without thinking about the bag that is now in the trunk. That is how I think it got there and why.

I would like to know if LE has looked at Amy's car that was parked at Sutton Place Apts. also. I wish that water and the wooded area there were searched!

I would hope that LE has questioned Lee about 'THE KEY' he destroyed.
