I doubt Jonah was watching the news reports at the hospital. I doubt he even knew her body was uncovered. I also doubt he contacted "legal advisors" immediately upon finding that Rebecca was dead. I think he was probably much too devastated to do anything except stay by Max's bedside.

Paul Pfingst stated that he was at the mansion to help the family communicate with the police. The only family reported at the mansion that I know of would have been Adam. It is probable the Pfingst was present when Adam took the LTD.

I would think that PR would have scrubbed this if not true since it is reported as Pfingst's statement. The statement is on page two of the article in the link shown below.

"Former San Diego County District Attorney Paul Pfingst visited the Coronado home Wednesday night. He said that the family had been cooperating fully with investigators and that he was asked to help them in that effort."

Many things were reported in the first few days that were not true, and there was no "PR" to "scrub" what was reported, IMO. News outlets report what they know when a story breaks - whether or not it is true. Remember how many MSM outlets reported that RZ was tied with orange electrical tape?

If you used the name of a minor in your post, or you quoted a post that named a minor, your post has been removed.

Please refrain from naming minors. I will no longer modsnip for you. I will just unapprove the post.

They reported she was tied with orange electrical cord because that is what it looked like from the helicopter photo shots.

Perhaps Rebecca wanted AS to find her and he messed up that plan by being a heavy sleeper. Who knows? Only Rebecca, IMO.

If Rebecca would have wanted Adam to find her then she would have hung herself on the rafters by the guest house. However, she did not do that because she was murdered.

The question is who murdered her and why?

PR scrubs weren't done in the first days they are being done now to rewrite and erase history.

That may be your opinion, but sorry, I don't believe that. News agencies don't let PR firms go back and rewrite what was written. It just has not happened.

Well I disagree. It has happened. People do all kinds of crazy things when they are scared or offered big $$$. This may be difficult to believe but we do not live in a perfect world. There are plenty of greedy, unscrupulous people around in all fields of endeavors. Those are the facts of life.

Do you have any proof of this media conspiracy?

Does it have to be a conspiracy? How many times in the past couple of years have we heard where some journalists(?) just copy with some rewording what other sources put out there?

Way back last year a month or 2 after the deaths and after Jonah's lawyer sent a cease and desist to Anne Bremner, a couple of local stations reported that they were 'reminded' to ease back on reports of the Mansion deaths. At that same time, even the TV shows that were covering things went silent also. Sorry, don't have a source for this, but read it on this web site.

I don't think there is/was a conspiracy. Others do.

If local stations "eased back" on reporting, it was due to the Station Manager/News Director making that decision, not Jonah Shacknai, IMO. And I would think many TV shows that went silent did so because they did not believe Rebecca's death was a murder and the suicide had already been covered extensively, IMO.

The cease and desist letter to AB stated that:

"Importantly, throughout the investigation, Mr. Shacknai was not advancing any particular outcome regarding Rebecca Zahau's cause of death, because he had absolutely no knowledge of what happened the night she died."

There is no mention of any knowledge of what happened the morning of Max's accident. Guess JS knows what happened that morning?:waitasec:

The letter was to AB. She has nothing to do with Max's death. Jonah was at the gym that morning. Rebecca and her sister were the only ones there.

Yes I do believe you are right and that is why Rebecca's story might have seemed inconsistent as IMO she was lying for her man. Alot of good that did her as I think she got murdered for it.

UPDATE (NEW INFO):

Just in case this hasn't been posted yet:

http://www.760kfmb.com/story/15485069/records-reveal-final-cell-phone-calls-to-rebecca-zahau

I wonder why the LE are reluctant to give back Rebecca's cell phone to her family. Don't they normally give back the victim's belongings to the family once they have finished and closed a case?

That is the million dollar question. Could be that the phone is being held because the Zahau family took the case to the AG.

The letter was to AB. She has nothing to do with Max's death. Jonah was at the gym that morning. Rebecca and her sister were the only ones there.

Since Mary stated that if Max would have lived then her sister would still be alive it appears that they believe Rebecca was killed for revenge. From their POV they would be interested in the the events surrounding Max's death and especially now since Dina has accused Rebecca of murdering him.

It's really too bad that Sitrick and Company has not come up with a believable alibi for him other than his say so. No one believes Jonah or Gore anymore. They both shot holes in their own credibility too many times by being caught in lies. As to Rebecca and her sister being the only ones there that was not confirmed. Bremner has stated that the older kids were there. That has not been retracted. Rebecca's sister is the most likely source. LE carefully never stated/wrote that they were the only ones there because they do not want to end up with a prison sentence for perjury.

I dont think this is a conspiracy or is viewed that way. Imo, it is a straight up revenge murder. Period.

Since Jonah hired Sitrick and Company for crisis management then they spin anyone who questions this into a conspiracy theorist. They do this to shame and embarrass them into silence. It's a tactic they use to throw the public off the scent.

This was a murder and no amount of spin will convince the average public that it wasn't.

Since the C&D letter was leaked some media venues may have voluntarily backed away. There are many murders and not all have the media interest to sell. Jonah is a millionarie but he's not famous. Most people never heard of him or Medicis.

A story involving a very famous person would be hard to supress beccause there would be alot of public interest and the story would sell. This particular situation is not a conspiracy at all but a murder with a very incompetent police investigation. Gore has already proved himself to be highly incompetent in previous cases so this is not new for him. I also question the success of Sitrick and Company. Jonah looks really bad in all this and for all the PR spin nothing they have done has improved his image much, imo.

{Respectfully snipped and BBM]

Hi freespeech - It was stated in the Search Warrants that only Rebecca and XZ were there and also stated by Lawton at the Sept. 2, 2011 Press Conference as per below:

Mike Lawton, Commander, Coronado Police Department
"The two people inside the house at the time the officers arrived were Rebecca Zahau and her 13-year-old sister as indicated before. They were the only persons inside the house."

Seeing as Rebecca's violent and suspicious death, preceded by little Max's tragic fatal fall, was an exceptionally significant event in the media worldwide and in Coronado history, I have always found it "interesting" that Coronado Chief of Police Chief Lou Scanlon was not present at the Press Conference. In Gore's words (of which I believe zip), "… Chief Lewis Scanlon would've been here today but he is on a scheduled trip out of the country…" Rather convenient IMO, thus avoiding any future accusations of perjury, perhaps?
