Oh dude..... the letter proves that she set up the entire thing from the start. There's the seeds planted for the false abuse allegations, the convenient explanations for everything, the usual throwing blame on everyone (there's Jodi's trademark ), and then she swears she won't spend a day in jail for a heinous crime she didn't commit. Really, dude? Ms. Arias is beyond the pale. How disgusting of a person are you to kill a man then send his family a letter saying "Nah... I didn't do it, but these ninjas did. See what happened was your brother beat me, I never stalked him, I had premarital sex with him, he got me over at night for booty calls (tee hee), and we had to be secret because of his mean ex girlfriend. He even proposed, and he wouldn't let me move on. Now let me tell you how he died via ninja on his birthday. Rejoice in your joy and stuff!"

Nah. There's a special level of hell for this kind of depraved.

An interesting read. Not a copy of the actual document, obviously--there are lots of errors that seem like someone retyped it rather poorly or typed it while listening to someone read it out loud lol.

I was shocked by the part where she says she kept her eyes on the front door as she backed her car out of the driveway, and then acknowledges apologetically that not looking when you back out is horrible and she really shouldn't have been driving at the time. Her level of remorse for the improper backing appears to be slightly higher than her level of remorse for having caused such pain to Travis's family.

Before yesterday I thought she wouldn't testify again. After yesterday I am 100% convinced she will get back on the stand, despite what will no doubt be vehement advise against it by both Nurmi and Wilmott.


That feeling was reinforced by what BritsKate wrote about what likely motivated JA to write the letter. I think the more DT tells her that her case isn't going well , the more determined she'll be to seize her last public opportunity to explain why Travis had to die, and her last chance to look at the faces of those who love Travis while she does her utmost to destroy his name.

I think she will get back on the stand now just out of spite if for no other reason!

After reading JA's story of the ninja attack, and seeing as how she borrows details from reality to embroider her stories, I believe I was right in thinking that she fired the gun twice. The first time it didn't work, so in desperation after she slashed his neck and TA didn't seem to be dead, she reached for it again. The two firings would not have happened if it worked the first time.

Among the other details that strike me as beyond sick-o in that letter, can you imagine displaying the inherited knickknacks of your murdered love one only to find out that some had been given to TA by the murderer? Or maybe not? All of them? Which ones? And which ones came from those nasty trips, that JA keeps mentioning as proof of their "official" relationship.....NOT?

The whole damned thing just reeks of pretty much every form of psychological abuse one can muster. She's just not very accomplished at it. A 'good' psychopath would actually have most of us feeling sorry for them. It just makes many of us hate her even more. Gotta admit, I love saying she isn't even a good psychopath though. Epic fail on practically every level.

One bit I found interesting was her specifically referencing what Tanisha had written online. So, I think there is more to her hatred of Travis' family than them simply loving him - it's also knowing that they see through her. I really have no doubt that she will continue to hurt them anyway she can, for as long as she's allowed.
