Jurors look like they are at a tennis match as Willmott and Horn go back and forth about the right frontal lobe bullet wound. #JodiArias

Poor Horn is probably having flashbacks.

@NancyGraceHLN: Things are getting heated between Willmott & Horn. She's questioning him on gunshot wounds & exit wounds #JodiArias

Bullet went through right frontal lobe on Travis Alexander #jodiarias #3TVArias

Beth
A projectile fired at a higher velocity is likely to exit, correct? Horn says it depends upon the projectile. Some are designed to fragment and stay in the body.

Why doesn't she learn? Stop asking questions you don't know the answer to!

How is this question even relevant? Is it somehow in dispute that the bullet was fired from a gun????

What is she doing?

They're not really supposed to be but I guess it's whatever lol.

Sidebar thread can discuss this, no problem. However off topic subjects should not be discussed in this thread. This thread is designated for the retrial information only and discussions about the trial/retrial in general. Hope that helps.

Geeze, Willmott, you lost this round over a year ago. Let it go... Oh, wait, she can't.

Dr. on NG last night pointed out that there was no blood hemorrhaging in the brain, therefore, the gunshot was last, after he had literally bled out.

@NancyGraceHLN: #JodiArias is paying attention as Willmott questions Horn

@monicalindstrom: Trial practice students - dont giggle either unless you are talking about something funny #jodiarias

Willmott continues to stay on the gunshot wound issue. Scalp wounds–lacerations and cuts–bleed a lot. Bullet will cause bleeding along its path. The bullet lodged in Travis’s left cheek–it did not go through his mouth. Bullet went through sinuses. Sinuses drain into the mouth. (NOTE from Beth: It appears Willmott is suggesting the gunshot was first, and there was bleeding into Travis’s mouth which he then spit into the sink.)

Sorry lamb chop I thought you'd said before that all tweets should be published here. My mistake.

Willmott is trying to over the gun shot wound and it's order in the killing. #JodiArias

Willmott asks if bullet wound came first wouldn't it cause bleeding? Horn says yes. #jodiarias #3TVArias

I admire Dr Horn for not heaving a deep sigh before he answers any of her questions. Or rolling his eyes.

The blood in his mouth is from the chest and stomach wounds as well as post mortem release.

That would be a good point, except there was no blood in the bullet's path, because he was shot LAST!

@ericksonvision: Hearing so much of the same testimony from before, they should have just DVR'd the first part of this trial and played it back. #JodiArias

Willmott asks Horn if he is aware that Flores testified that the frontal lobe gunshot wound wasn't fatal. It's news to Horn. #JodiArias

Horn states he has never spoken to Det. Flores about this case. #JodiArias

#JodiArias continues to pay attention and also scan the jury as Willmott goes over autopsies and bullet wounds with Horn.

Wild About Trial @WildAboutTrial · 35s 35 seconds ago

Willmott autotunes to a pitch I can barely hear as Horn and her discuss high velocity projectiles. #JodiArias

Why doesn't she just recall Flores to the stand to ask him directly if he ever said these things???

@monicalindstrom: Picture of sink and mirror being used by JW to show gunshot could have come first #JodiArias

Beth
Horn agrees the entry wound would bleed also–in a living person. Willmott is asking questions based on the hypothetical that the gunshot was first and didn’t render him immediately unconscious: would expect to see blood coming from the nose, into the mouth. She now shows a photo of the bloody sink and asks whether it’s reasonable to believe that Travis was standing above the sink and dripping blood into it.

I have always wondered why they didn't do that. Cut out all the sidebars and show this jury everything the first jury saw. Why go through it in person all over again?
