Like she prayed for the jurors who convicted her? Maybe when she says "pray for" she means "prey on."

IMO, all this obsessive "journal jerking" only proves JA is as emotionally stunted as a garden gnome.

Anybody "out there" with info re: the HD/misconduct blowup? Saw a few tweets about DT tried to access an image (?) from PT ... couldn't. PT tried ... and could. Then there was "something" about putting a DT expert and a PT expert together in the same room for .... a thumb-wrestling match?

There is a lot of self-blame going on according to #JodiArias journal entries, Geffner says.

GAH! Can I please slap somebody? Why were the Unabomber's journals used as evidence of a diseased mind and Jodi's journals are used as evidence of an abusive relationship?

Did Juan file a new motion?

I think the DT is just playing a game now, to turn Juan's accusations back on him and take the sting out of them not getting a proper image to them by claiming he's done the same thing. Which is absurd. Why would he do that, after all this? Give them something that's unreadable? (Um, unreadable how?)

The remedy would seem to be to have the state expert observe the defense expert trying to read the image because they know it is readable and they're being dunces. I'm sure the defense will decline the offer

All these co workers that gave such glowing interviews failed to state that they were from the year 2000 or before! The co workers I read about talked about how she wouldn't work half the time and was on her phone constantly and obsessed with TA. I'll go look for them, but I'll admit I'm really sick and tired of reading about JA. I absolutely hate her. She has no "real" mitigating witnesses. Or if she does, they're harder to find than Waldo.

I hope the jurors see through this. The journal is her fantasy world. Whenever it contradicts some other 'fact' she claimed, then the answer is "Travis would read my journal and made me take that out" or "Travis told me not to put that in my journal". Heads I win; tails you lose.

Sounds to me she wrote that journal specifically for TA to read. She probably left it at his home in his bedroom often so that he would read it. The whole thing reads like one long manipulation. She writes when things he does make her happy and when they don't. Then towards the end she starts to write about her depression and suicidal thoughts because of him. And she sledgehammers her hard drive when she realizes the cops are on to her but doesn't burn those journals?

Read a comment on twitter about how the defense has figured out a way to get all this 'evidence' in through one mouthpiece. One speaks for all these other people on her behalf, including even Jodi herself, so that Juan doesn't get a chance to question them. Yes, he gets to question this Dr. but that's not going to have the same impact, IMO. And this is mitigation because he's using these tales of woe to show how she developed her 'mental illness' - it's analysis - not retrying the case. Sure it isn't. Going to give the devil his due for this strategy, but hope the jury will recognize it for what it is...

Too bad she didn't commit suicide. I'm so tired of all her and the DT's team BS! Lots of people feel depressed and not loved, but they don't brutally murder someone. When will this be over? Does anyone think by the first week of Jan.?

I think the DT is just playing a game now, to turn Juan's accusations back on him and take the sting out of them not getting a proper image to them by claiming he's done the same thing. Which is absurd. Why would he do that, after all this? Give them something that's unreadable? (Um, unreadable how?)

The remedy would seem to be to have the state expert observe the defense expert trying to read the image because they know it is readable and they're being dunces. I'm sure the defense will decline the offer

IMO, all this obsessive "journal jerking" only proves JA is as emotionally stunted as a garden gnome.

Anybody "out there" with info re: the HD/misconduct blowup? Saw a few tweets about DT tried to access an image (?) from PT ... couldn't. PT tried ... and could. Then there was "something" about putting a DT expert and a PT expert together in the same room for .... a thumb-wrestling match?

Beth covered this yesterday. (Going by memory and paraphrasing here) KN came in first thing upset b/c the drive that JM gave them wouldn't work - the one that JSS told JM to turn it over NOW, remember? Then after lunch JM said they had accessed it during lunch and no problemo, suggesting that maybe KN's "expert" didn't know what he was doing. JSS's solution was to have both sides' experts meet and figure it out....

eta after reading MeeBee's comment: I think Juan did also say they could come and watch over their shoulders while they made a new copy, if they'd like. But then at lunch he said it was a good copy after all...

Yea, if you're telling someone they're the "one and only" for you and you're still performing circus acts for him/her to prove it, of course he/she wouldn't be impressed to hear you're seeing someone else too... people are funny that way. From everything I've heard, TA was honest about it not being an exclusive relationship for him, he was openly dating others and instead of telling him she didn't like it, JA claims she was supportive so of course he thought it was just a *advertiser censored** buddy relationship at that point since she was still letting him milk the cow, even when she knew he was dating Mimi with marriage in mind. All she had to do was say no and stay away.

Point is, it wasn't TA's problem to take care of her(even though he certainly tried, which she actually acknowledged in that long msg to him where she was using the proverbial scissors), it was hers and hers alone and still not an excuse to murder him, let alone plan it for imo months, then drive 1000 miles to viciously slaughter him, just so she could move on.

Dude.....I'm like halfway through today's stuff.

I got "held back" in kindergarten. My birthday is in November. My parents had recently divorced, and my father worked offshore a lot then so he was gone. I was never dumb, but I've never claimed to be Einstein either. They called it like pre-k, but when I did kindergarten because I could read. (Thanks Wheel of Fortune for teaching me), they pulled me out of play time and put me in 1st grade reading. I just wanted to play blocks, man.
