ETA: I don't see that anyone got into the details of SMS (Short Message Service) and CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) vs GSM (Global System for Mobiles) standards. They represent, by far, the lion's share of the market vis a vis underlying radio system technology for cellular communications.

It's really a kinda funny story how one guy's hearkening to postcards resulted in this arbitrary limitation on message lengths.

I don't think it is much of an issue at all. There was ZERO child *advertiser censored*. ZERO.

And 98% of what was found was traced back to Spybot.

All that was left over was 4 to 6 pictures of nude men or women. A few may have been pornographic images. And possibly a few short fragments of videos.

Big freakin deal. He was a healthy, sexual grown man. What difference does it make IF he had a few *advertiser censored* images. And we still do not even know if they were his or not. But I don't think they jury will care that much any way. It is a non issue.

I do not agree that it backfired though. Juan was mainly working to refute those bogus charges of prosecutorial misconduct. And this witness helped him do that successfully. JMO

Exactly. Juan made some good points today and is probably hyper aware of the fact that the jury probably doesn't care much about the *advertiser censored* and Willmott hemming and hawing about it just makes her look bad.

He called into question the credibility of the new defense expert's analysis by using someone the defense used in the guilt phase and begging the question why the DT didn't just call Dworkin.

Dworkin said the version of Encase used now is better and more efficient than the version used back then, which explains why BOTH he and the state expert missed what's being found now.

Jodi probably penned that stupid text message and sent it to herself somehow.

The computer was NOT turned on at 11:00 pm on July 19th. As we suspected, it was a time error of Autopsy, which isn't a good program to use. So if they bring John Smith back it will just look bad. Very bad.

It wasn't a huge win but he made some good points and he did it quickly so the jury doesn't lose interest.

So what happens if the jury gets into deliberations and someone on the panel declares that they will NOT vote for death no matter what? Can this be reported to the judge and then what would happen? It's tiring listening to people say that if she doesn't get death it's because someone on the jury won't sentence a woman to death. So I am just wondering if they found out right away that they had a stealth juror, could they kick that person off and grab one of the alternates or does that cause this trial to become a mistrial?

Oh I totally agree that *advertiser censored* is not an issue nor a mitigating factor. What is concerning me is that the jury has a whole week to think that JW busted JM out. Dworkin made it seem as though JM LIED.

Not quite. Juan didn't say the videos weren't there. Smith said they were there but they might have been due to ads and he could not play them. The only contradiction here is that Dworkin could get them to play. Doesn't seem like a huge gotcha moment for Willmott.

Great!!!!!! Have followed this Trial for so long. Leaving on vaycay Feb. 25th and not returning until March 8. Oh well I'm sure CNN will announce when a verdict is reached.

No worries. Jodi's allocution will still be going on. She's going to do portraits of each juror while singing a medley of songs reflecting her remorse. Mark my words lol!

Mom may be staying at the felon's friends house...the one that she was in jail with. Sorry I do not remember her name right now. Then the hotel cost would be free, sort of. However, there still is air fare or gas money.

I can see how some of the MC or Visa cc could be high, but I think they do have more then they say. JMOO

Being cynical..... the Arias' are evidently clearing the decks of creditors so when they write a book after the trial is done, all the payoff stays in their pockets. None would be owed to anyone. They've kept their house, to boot.

Not sure when it was purchased for her, but I'm betting some of this was in the works way back in January when she stayed with him for those 3 days in his trailer at Vegas. Anyway, iirc she claims her phone was "stolen" May 18 and according to her journals I think she got her new phone on May 22 just before all the carp hit the fan on the 25/26th, in fact iirc she said she "had the talk" with TA on the 22. Oh and conveniently the sex tape was made on May 10? I'll try to get some time to verify this with her journals but that's what I recall offhand.

I thought she said she used the helio phone to audio tape sex conversation because that was the one that had that ability, now I am confused. Which phone was lost?
