I wonder who will give closing arguments. Probably JW.

Stephens re-addressing #JodiArias to make sure she knows she's not suibject to cross examination with allocution.
----

And would anyone be surprised if she changes her mind by morning and tries to delay closings with some long, drawn out, remoreless diatribe?
I've always felt that the one argument against giving Jodi the death penalty is that, when asked if she has any last words, she'll talk for a hundred years.

I bet she allocutes tomorrow. I bet she was just pushing to see how far the judge would let her go, I don't see her just letting it go as her last chance to talk and not doing it.

I have a question...

Do we know for a fact that CMJA takes meds? Has that already been brought out in court that she does? We know she has *cough* migraines. If it hasn't been brought out in court, did JSS just make a hippa violation? Or is that just for medical professionals?

One tweet said JSS asked if she'd taken *any* medication, IMO likely asking if her thoughts were clear, not if she wasn't on drugs she was supposed to be on. Good question by JSS, at least removed one excuse down the road.

Stephens reminds Arias that allocution is not under oath and not subject to cross examination.

Arias says it does not change her decision.

Translation: It's your kinda gig, Jodi. You can lie all you want and you won't be challenged. Pretty please with sugar on top?

If you live in Arizona, it will not be an earthquake you will feel in about 10-15 minutes. Jodi will be throwing a Tantrum which will measure 7.2 on the richter scale. This is a warning. Go to your safe place now.

Hahaha Good one, I for one needed a little tension-breaking.

#JodiArias seems concerned, sad, and scared.

Whoa. I can't believe I actually made it to the end. With just one or two breakdowns, mini-breaks and tantrums thrown in. Who would've thought.

Her arrogance could not let her beg for mercy or express remorse, particularly with the Alexander family present. She would prefer to sneak it in with just the Jury present.

The Alexander's would have been there. It's her fan club she doesn't want to disappoint. She's convinced she's getting life so it doesn't matter to her. And she thinks she setting herself up nicely for an appeal and an overturning of her conviction.

IOW, she's delusional. Thanks to the bang up job by her "mitigation specialist".

MOO

She's gambling with her life. I hope she loses. These kind of stunts should always backfire.

OH wait, the Jury was out when Arias pulled her hissy fit?

10 dollars says tomorrow Arias will say she took her meds and now wants to allocute

What a wasted day for her drama :(
Too late. I don't think she can change her mind anymore, not when they've already gone over jury instructions. Jodi is an idiot to argue law with a judge. Hopefully anybody who thought JSS was on Jodi's side can now see otherwise. Thank you JSS!!!:gavel::smiliescale::bow::bow::bow:

What a relief it must be to the Alexanders, to know that they'll never again be forced to listen and watch that murderer lie about Travis!

The Jury showed up for a 2 hour lunch...and to be told to come back tomorrow. I bet they are tickled!

Her fan club will last just as long as this trial. Then they will move on to the next loser...

Can she change her mind? Legally I mean....although with JSS the legal aspect might be a moot point?
