If Misty did call them there because she wanted help to leave: once Ron was hauled off to jail, wouldn't that have given her the chance to leave without his interference? As well, why would Misty get mad at her dad if he filed a complaint... if she was wanting to leave, surely her dad filing a complaint on someone she wanted away from wouldn't have made her mad.

All of this is nuts...

Sorry but this behavior is VERY common in battered women. Battered women don't necessarily only change their mind about leaving their abusers because they are afraid too, they also don't leave because they are an integral part of the abuse cycle. There are very complex forces operating in the brain of your typical battered spouse.

Just because he was locked up doesn't mean suddenly she was going to go home with the family. Frankly if she is a battered spouse, I would guess that she blamed herself for him being locked up and will do anything she can to get him out.

Most battered woman have every chance to leave, but ironically they don't.

For the record: I am not stating that I think Misty is abused by Ron (nor am I stating she isn't.) I think they all thrive in the lifestyles they CHOOSE to have. I think they all stink of guilt in one way or the other.

she said she got hit?? so maybe not. maybe she lied. jmo

My thoughts exactly.
If the fact that Misty got hit is only reported by Misty and no physical evidence exists...... we can add it to the unverifiable claims made and wonder forever what the truth is.

I don't find it odd that GM didn't get hit.
They weren't killing each other out there.
They were having a trashy brawl in the yard.
Ron isn't going to hit his grandmother and apparantly the Croslin's have enough awareness about themselves to tell the difference between a raging man and a just awoken old woman yelling at them to knock it off.

RC should be out by now. He will be home soon having pancakes and eggs with Granny.

Can't imagine TN and AS leaving him there!

This is so sad, and a burglary charge is absurd.

Too bad he did not stay in the house and call police when they did not leave.

Maybe Ronald shouldn't have been messing with an underage girl. No one forced him to do it.

And Maybe her Family shouldn't have let an underage girl live with an older man and raise his children. Where were they then? There is plenty of blame to throw around here.

We will not get the truth....look who the players are.

So far there are three versions already!

I also never read in the report that Hank Sr was throwing punches but Misty claims she got hit by him.....hmmm

Just for review...here are what we can know as facts

1. Misty claims she was hit---during scuffle, but by her family
2. Ron does NOT claim that she was hit by her family
3. GGM doe NOT say Misty was hit by her family
4. TC does not mention MC being hit
5. LC does not say that MC was hit
6. HC does not report MC being hit

Conclusions?
IF she was hit, then it happened before her family arrived and while GGM states she was asleep. If RC had time to accuse TC of assault on him--why would he not mention seeing him hit MC? That would have held much more weight with a LE officer! JMO

I didnt say she lied about being hit when she was in the middle of breaking up the fight. I am saying nothing indicates RC hit Misty and Misty is covering for RC like people are jumping to. She obviously had no visible injuries as they were not documented. My point was if RC hit her, likes so many here want to believe and she was trying to cover for him the injuries would have to be visible or there would be no point in covering for him. I am sure jumping into the middle of a fight she got banged up some, but obviously nothing visible therefore no injuries document JMO

Whoa whoa whoa.....not every injury to someone is where it is visible to an observer. It would do well to remember that.

Yea ok and G'ma told him to get in the house and he obeyed... g'ma doesn't seem afraid of him to me :waitasec:

And neither does Misty getting in the middle of it. Nowhere in that report did her family say when they arrived she already had buises so OBVIOUSLY it's not so obvious IMO
It was dark outside.

This does not make Ron look good.
Do you think that LE will hold him
as long as they possibly can, to try and "break"
him for info regarding Haleigh's disappearance ?
I sure hope so.

OT...lets forget Haleigh for just a sec and independently look at this crime.....btw it is a crime, doesn't matter how big or small you perceive it .....how do you justify Ron coming back out and reaching in the car to fight again.....time and time again he is given a break.....enough already, IMO I hope the courts give him what his momma never did.....now I'm just humming "be my ...be my little baby...""da da da....

Sad,that amongst these #$#$ there is a precious little girl that was placed right in the middle.

Here is an example of what life was like for her when the camera wasn't on. Her father has no self control and is prone to violence...Yes, this is my opinion and I take full responsibility for my words. Fortunately, I won't have to eat them.

Very realistic post Elphaba! Makes a lot of sense to me!

For the same reason RC denied the fight the day of/before Haleigh's disappearance.

And Maybe her Family shouldn't have let an underage girl live with an older man and raise his children. Where were they then? There is plenty of blame to throw around here.

no they shouldn't have. I don't think anyone would argue that point. It's sickening that they didn't protect their daughter from this man. Ron is guilty of pursuing underage girls, which is disgusting. The parents of all these girls he has been involved with are equally guilty of negligence for allowing if not encouraging it to go on.

If she was my daughter, he wouldn't have been anywhere near my daughter.
The parents don't care enough about their daughter and Ron has an eye for teenagers. That is my opinion. It is also my opinion that no one is going to be winning parent of the year in this circle of trashiness.

I don't see how everyone seems to be picking sides here. They're all incredibly disfunctional and negligent in so many ways. Haleigh is the only real innocent.

I predict, for Ronald, this too shall pass. He has too many people covering for him...cheering for him....enabling him....all charges will be dropped against him and the big, bad people who upset him will be charged. He and Misty can go back their victim status and Haleigh will not be mentioned by the media again until someone else "upsets" Ronald.

Hang on for the ride....all excuses and explanations will be had by morning. We will likely hear:

1. grieving parent..give him a break
2. he didn't do anything
3 LE has made an error
4. LE is picking on him
5. It is just a simple battery
6. He didn't hurt anyone
7. He didn't commit a technical burglary
8. The complainant was drunk
9. LE just wants to show the public they are doing something
.......and to be thrown in later, Crystal caused all this
--------
I just logged on after a short break. I can't say I'm surprised at this event. Whisperer, don't forget: Ron is not violent.

Noelle, I hope you are wearing protective gear.....

It was dark outside.

I sure hope so.

I imagine there were plenty of cruisers with spot lights blaring. I also think it's highly possible they went in the house to fill out their statements.

I just got here and trying to catch up, but that bond amount is amazingly close to the Child support amount, isn't it?
