Which hiding place for P's mistress and offspring is more likely, Siberia or Switzerland?
Would it help stop the war or seriously limit it, if all his family members were captured?
Does he ''keep'' the official wife and offspring in a safe place too, maybe in the same bunker as the others? (Ha, now that would be WW111)

UN Security Council meeting adjourned.

Some notes (far from comprehensive as I was doing other things).

British representative says we must not allow Russia to misuse its permanent seat on the Security Council to disseminate disinformation and lies

Ireland regrets that Russia called this Security Council meeting simply to make baseless allegations

Norway says Russia misused its Security Council veto

(No one is giving Russia the time of day basically)

Until...

China says we need a political solution and China will play its part in peace talks. China dislikes WMDs incl biological and chemical weapons, encourages those countries that have not yet destroyed their stockpiles of these weapons to do so asap. China thinks info released by Russia is 'relevant'. Concerns raised by Russia should be 'properly addressed' blah blah. Destroy pathogens in labs in order to stop spread of infectious diseases etc.

Kenya says the sanctions and counter-sanctions are threatening the world's food supply. Need a ceasefire and dialogue. Recognise Ukraine's sovereignty, independence and borders.

US says we're not going to give any more air time to Russia's nonsense (in so many words).

Russia says speakers have not addressed the substance of its claims re biological weapons. Says US is throwing thunderbolts and accusing Russia of propaganda. Brings up the Russian claim that the maternity hospital bombing was misrepresented by Ukraine as it wasn't being used as a hospital. Says Ukraine is faking other stuff basically. Says Russia did not start this war, Ukraine did eight years ago.

Ukraine speaker disputes Russia's take on everything. Gives an update on one of the mothers from the bombed hospital who gave birth (I think, didn't hear that bit properly). Russia is perpetuating humanitarian crimes. Gives several examples. Says Russia is whitewashing the war against Ukraine. Russian aggression threatens us all.

When Hitler annexed Austria WWII began, even though there was no shooting because the soon-to-be Allies appeased and rationalized and did nothing.
When Hitler took over the Sudetenland it was the same.
Not until 1939 did the shooting start.
Just my opinion, WWIII has already begun. Putin’s goal is his fantasy of a new Russian/USSR empire. There are only two ways to stop him 1) the Russian people rebel or 2) the West militarily puts a stop to it, a scary thought for sure.

Topic of article is that biosecurity experts say Russia's movement of troops into Ukraine and bombardment of its cities have raised the risk of an escape of disease-causing pathogens, should any of those facilities be damaged.

The article continues that like many other countries, Ukraine has public health laboratories researching how to mitigate the threats of dangerous diseases affecting both animals and humans including, most recently, COVID-19. Says its labs have received support from the United States, the European Union and the WHO.

Response to questions from Reuters about its work with Ukraine ahead of and during Russia's invasion: the WHO said in an email that it has collaborated with Ukrainian public health labs for several years to promote security practices that help prevent "accidental or deliberate release of pathogens."

Article continues that the WHO would not say when it had made the recommendation nor provide specifics about the kinds of pathogens or toxins housed in Ukraine's laboratories. The agency also did not answer questions about whether its recommendations were followed.

References that on Wednesday, Russian foreign ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova repeated a longstanding claim that the United States operates a biowarfare lab in Ukraine, an accusation that has been repeatedly denied by Washington and Kyiv and she also said that documents unearthed by Russian forces in Ukraine showed "an emergency attempt to erase evidence of military biological programmes" by destroying lab samples.

Reuters says it was unable to independently confirm her information.

Probably significant?: The WHO statement made no reference to biowarfare. The agency said it encourages all parties to cooperate in "the safe and secure disposal of any pathogens they come across, and to reach out for technical assistance as needed." Also, it offered to help wherever possible with technical guidance and coordination.

Then talks about the UN Security Council meeting today to discuss this issue of biological weapons.

According to msm,she shelters in Switzerland,with her 4 children.They do have the Swiss nationality.
