8 p.m. Update:
Law enforcement will be working overnight to continue to follow up on the hundreds of tips that have been called in regarding the disappearance of Faye Swetlik.

9 p.m. Update:
Cayce police are looking for two cars that were spotted near where Faye Marie Swetlik went missing. Authorities said the drivers may have information that could help find the 6-year-old.

The two vehicles were in the neighborhood during the time she was last seen. Investigators are talking with everyone who was in Churchill Heights at the time she was last seen. Please watch and share this video:

I agree, but that wouldn’t make sense if she got off the bus and got home and was then last seen at 3:45 pm.

Glad they are getting hundreds of tips.
The addition of two vehicles is perplexing, especially since two other cars were towed.

The vehicles were seen in the area at the time Faye disappeared and they need to identify the drivers so they can interview them. MOO

Just to touch on one thing, “cooperating,” doesn’t mean that law enforcement believes someone is necessarily telling the truth. It just means they are answering questions.

I have wondered that as well. Wondered if they had a point in saying each one who was cooperating or what.

LE looking to talk to the unidentified drivers of the vehicles captured on surveillance video and seen in the neighborhood around the time FS disappeared. Whether or not they live in the neighborhood is unknown to investigators and they would like to make contact with them just as they did with others by knocking on doors. Requesting the public's help to ID the owners/drivers.

It’s totally possible that these two cars/drivers are just the only ones that have not yet been identified. May not actually mean she was abducted by one/both of them.

The crime scene investigator driving this unit is not affiliated with the search for Faye Swetlik. He lives in the neighborhood and was heading home from a normal shift.

There was a report upthread that a resident stated that LE looked in their closets, cabinets, even the washer and dryer.
I wonder if LE has been checking cellars, crawl spaces under the units, and attics if any.
Just seems that LE believes that there's a possibility that she is somewhere there in the complex.
Might she have been lured into someone's home?
The family was new there, no time yet to get to know people....so someone "friendly" may have approached Faye?
I hate this.
