Salem :seeya: - Sorry to hit & run but.....remember when Musikman from Caylee's threads obtained police reports and posted them on the board for us to sleuth? We made sure to redact all names, addresses and phone numbers, as well as personal identifiers such as SS #s. Well, would you guys consider allowing one of us to do this again for Heather's threads? The reason I ask is bc there is an official police report regarding an altercation during a search for Heather which pointedly refers to married man and/or his wife as "a suspect in a missing persons case". This could open the door for further sleuthing. They are deleting accounts and ceasing online activity on a daily basis. So whomever didn't obtain screen captures prior to going off the grid won't be able to obtain it all now unless le releases it to the public or they make their unedited social media stuff avaiable again. We could redact the info and pass it through you guys first (admin & mods). I'd be willing to help any way I can. As a reminder, we wouldn't have been able to prove how the investigations part of le blew the case for the prosecution, which would have proven Casey was the only one that could have been searching Chloroform etc, if it weren't for pulling the official reports and mapping out the computer searches. Who knows what hidden info could be obtained in this case. :loveyou:

Money Girl, imo, until HE's disappearance the Myrtle Beach/Horry Co., SC community was unaware of the many unsolved missing/murdered person cold case investigations. Due to the tremendous amount of awareness created in HE's case, the light has been shined on these many other unsolved cases. Each day that passes without HE's discovery, the frustration will only grow in the community. HE could be my daughter, or yours.
'Without public Safety for our families, friends, and loved ones, we have nothing'..

It does not have to be in the midst of the case but certainly afterward there should be transparency. If there is not, then how can we address issues of corruption, incompetence, and error? We need to know in order to fix problems and hold people accountable for what is supposed to be work done on behalf of the citizens.

Somehow “the interest of the state” seems to preclude the citizenry which is odd considering the state IS the citizenry, well, at least in a democratic republic with a constitution.

I have a legal question, if I made up a fake text message from Brad Pitt stating that he killed HE and posted it online and Brad called LE and complained about it, could I be arrested for obstruction of justice? Or would I have to do something specifically to LE in order for there to be an arrest?

Really, I got a little put-off by a Det. I spoke with early on. He flat out lied to me and tried pulling a reverse inquisition on my knowledge. That's when I decided to speak with BB. He was quite cordial and listened to some information I found. Most of which has been lightly discussed here but, probably not investigated further. Plus, since the PR came out, it may not be as relevant but, ya never know. I'll put some info together and send it to LE FWIW.

Just my two cents.... Since we don't know what happen to Heather, it is always best to be speaking to LE and not friends or family. I would say this for any case.

5:00 - 6:00pm: After receiving information on registration officer visits T.E. and learns H.E. is primary driver of the vehicle. T.E. calls H.E.'s DATE to find out more information for the officer. What is BB's title or job? Is he an official search and rescue person or a PI?
 
FYI - when you set up a tip tent to generate leads, making it a point to say all info remains confidential, it might not be wise to point out on a public board when a tip is received. Maybe it's more important to just relay the info to le and sit on it.

Also not very wise for certain persons to talk about TE's le family & friends and that they may have said they'd go get "him" and bring him back if it was what TE wanted.

Nobody should be talking about "good ole boy justice" as they could be viewed as threats, therefore making le protect the very person or persons that may be under suspicion.

All of the above impedes an official investigation and certainly could result in an arrest of the very people that are only trying to help find this girl and protect the E family.
 
JMO, but allowing a missing person SM to receive public comments is setting up things to go off the rails.

If everyone would direct tips to LE, and let them sort it out, who might be setting up whom would be less of an issue.

There are too many people stirring pots.

And those that should have been arrested are still not arrested! Something so wrong with this picture and I fear that it's going to cause some to really go off the rail here.
