Hi, I don't post much but I have read all the threads. What I really can't wrap my head around is that SM took part in this. If he was having problems at home and having an affair, what made him want to join together with TM and harm Heather? I can see TM's motive but not SM's. Wives find out about affairs all the time but the guilty party doesn't murder the person they are having the affair with. Why would he go along with this and even lure Heather to danger if he knew what TM was up to. If it wasn't TM's idea, what would be SM's motive? It doesn't make sense.

Crap, that was a horrible snip. Sorry. I'm on an ipad and it's hard to scroll/select...the original post was from OkieGranny.

Thanks OkieGranny.

I agree about the IE incidents in that we really dont know precisely yet the order or the exact times.

As far as possibly using the ocean and the pier/dock. I am thinking along the lines of one of those super large ice chests weighted down where it would immediately sink. If lead or some other heavy metal or rocks were in the ice chest along with her and the ice chest was duct taped shut, then someone could easily use one of those carts to wheel it right out to the end of the pier and they would look like other dock fisherman as it is quite common when dock fishing. Especially if they carried fishing poles with them.

When I was last in Florida doing some pier fishing, these types of carts with wheels were very common for fisherman to use. You would be amazed at all the stuff people wheel out to the pier on those carts. They have tons of stuff to bring out with them and those carts make it simple to bring heavy loads.

It was just a possibility I have been thinking about and I agree with you that there are many other possiblities.

For some reason I don't believe they threw her in at the dock. I think they wanted people to believe that Heather met someone else down there and she rode of with someone else.

They both would know depending on the location of Heather's vehicle that LE would think she was put close by in those waters.

I think they killed her at PTL but transported her body elsewhere.

IMO

Those large ice chests are nearly unsinkable. People have actually survived floating in those ice chests out in the ocean for days after their boats capsized. LE made the comment that they knew exactly where SM and TM were the entire time when they left town immediately following the disappearance of HE. I'm hoping if any evidence was disposed of along the way that LE recovered it.

Anyone considered that the photo Sid had on his fb page, with the gun in the belt holster, maybe tipped off LE of something discovered at PTL? I would really love if all the posting TM did comes back to haunt her during the trial. She really thinks she's quite clever.

I do believe you are correct. Both of them will never divulge Heather's location. They will remain silent thinking if the DA cant produce a body they may can get away with it.

But this isn't Aruba and many missing body cases have resulted in convictions here in the US.

I imagine once the defense attorneys sees all the discovery they will be telling them they need to try to plea or rollover on the other one.

We will see if that happens. I wouldn't be surprised though if they continue to maintain their innocence even if the evidence is overwhelming against each one of them. It has always amazed me even when the evidence is stacked sky high against a defendant they still want to go to trial.

IMO

I think no matter what the evidence, everyone thinks they will get the next O.J. jury.

I have to disagree with the whole notion that she was murdered at PTL. I know that's what the LE are telling us, but it just doesn't make ANY sense. Let's think for a moment...

We KNOW that the original LE officer found her car, ran the tag and realized it was a friend of his, TE who owned it. He went to TE home or called him or whatever. TE arrived at the PTL with a spare set of keys, continues to try to call HE and gets just voicemail.

Now, had there been ANY type of a murder scene evidence...such as blood, evidence of an altercation, etc...there's no way that that first on the scene LE simply calls TE and tells him his car is here and to come and get it. After TE opens the car for the officer, the officer and TE look around inside, not noticing ANYTHING that seemed out of order. It was said the car was messy, which was normal for HE(and most 20 year olds). They found a couple of receipts(I'm going to assume on the seat rather than mixed in with the mess of the other stuff on the floor) but nothing that seemed weird or out of place.

Now, if there was the SLIGHTEST indication that a crime had occurred...much less a murder, there is no way that the LE officer would have allowed it, and I'm certain TE wouldn't have driven the car home. I just can't buy into the fact of anything happening IN her car or outside of her car there at PTL.

Now, I could see her jumping into SM's truck since she was meeting him there, and having TM hiding behind the seat. At that point how would TM kill HE? If she was strangled which would make the most sense, and be the least noise-producing...then there wouldn't be any evidence outside of that truck I wouldn't think. If she was stabbed or shot, there would have been sounds of screams/gunshots, and the amount of blood that would need to be cleaned up in that truck would be substantial.

I'm not saying that it COULDNT have happened, I'm just saying, it's my opinion that the murder didn't happen at PTL. What we know just doesn't support that.

One final thing...IF, and that's a big IF, LE had found evidence of a crime scene at PTL that day such as blood or whatever...I can't see them then allowing it to be trampled over for weeks and weeks by onlookers, searchers, family members, prayer vigils etc. It seems to me it would have been cordoned off with police tape as a crime scene from the start.

Just my opinions....

Yep, it was stated that HE left PTL with TM and SM wasn't it? LE also stated that she was murdered at PTL. Sounds like they think that her body was taken by TM and SM.

Maybe TM has smut on SM and told him she would use it if he didn't murder Heather. Maybe it was something illegal that he had done in the past and she used that as leverage.

Just speculating of course.

IMO

But in her interiew with LE - she stated as much. I would *think* that is HE was missing, and the LE are asking her - I dont think she would lie to them.

I just don't think it was the main reason for the call...BW did say she was crying. JMO

I've been thinking it's possible TM planned the whole thing from the beginning. She posted the whole lovefest on SM and her FB pages. I can imagine she was incredibly angry at both of them, but put on a front as her plan evolved. TM being IMO a spoiled brat who always got her way, I wonder if SM wasn't set up, and TM never thought she would be implicated?

Ditto. :goodpost:

Saved me from saying the same exact thing and IMO as well.

I have been contemplating TM and was it planned or not... she's a planner. plans Disney vacays, plans her own house, lesson plans for homeschool...even plans.what sm FB will say. lol

just saying.

do you think TM stewed about this for monthsand planned it long ago, or something happened near December 18 that made her flip about Heather?

Whether Heather posted them or not, the things shown there were pretty graphic if you ask me. Let's be honest, it was pornographic and fairly obscene. If you say you've seen worse, then I have no idea what you've seen except for a person having sexual relations with an animal or something.
I would not be surprised at all to find that TM had manipulated Heather's Tumbler. TM manipulated Heather's life and killed her....so putting up crap on a Tumbler page pales by comparison.

I think TM would have been more vulgar, by far. Heather's stuff was revealing, maybe shocking to some, but still could be seen as arty. TM would not go that route if she wanted to make Heather look bad. And I still think TM would have posted very bluntly to indicate that Heather was running away for a while, since that is what TM later claimed had happened, allegedly. JMO

I am not at all scandalized by Heather's tumblr. Her tumblr is very typical of those her age. I do have a tumblr (video game related, no smut) and I check out tumblrs of those that follow me and so many of them are just like her's. Nothing out of the ordinary.

I was just looking at the IE warrants - all four of them say the same thing regarding date/time: they have "on or about 12/17/13" at the top and in the full description of the charges they read "between the dates of 12/17 and 12/18"... have any of the official LE statements been any more specific than that? Because if these warrants are all anyone's had to go on, both incidents could have occurred on one of these dates (instead of one on each date).

I realize you didn't ask me, but! I think both. I think she's obsessed about it since she found out, or whatever (do we know how they were outed?) AND then something, who knows what...happened around that time to make her snap. I bet she's planned, or at least toyed with the idea of killing HE since she knew of her.

I think we just have to trust LE and what they have stated. I am sure they have gone back to the dock several times and did further up investigations and we do not know what they found. They themselves said they have discovered additional information since Heather went missing. What that is will be disclosed at trial and not before then I don't believe.

I honestly cant remember one case where LE lied about where someone was murdered and later on it turned out not to be true. They have citizens to answer to and they want to be honest and forthcoming with what they tell the public about any case.

It is hard to read tealeaves when we have no clue what their investigation has uncovered since December 2013.

Letting her dad come get the truck isn't uncommon. They did not know that Heather was dead at that time. Lots of vehicles are abandoned for one reason or the other and most aren't tied to criminal activities.

Even in my local area vehicles are left down by the boat docks. People party down there and get to drinking heavily and will leave with someone who will take them home.
