Unless HE knows someone who lives in that mobile home that she wouldn't want seeing her, I doubt she'd care that much about being spotted in the middle of the night there. People are generally non-observant and probably would not be peering into the landing in the middle of the night. The majority of anyone around there was probably asleep.

And to be honest, those landings are great party spots and make out spots for hs kids....don't ask how I know this.

Anyone living around one knows that and probably doesn't think twice unless it gets out of hand, there is a bonfire...etc More than likely cars coming in and out of there don't even wake them from sleeping or are noticed unless they are up and looking out.

JMO, but no way would that hide from being spotted by the mobile homes on the right.

The op stated she was up further towards the entrance- and her pulling in would not shine her headlights into their back windows.

ETA: I have no idea who parked her car there. Pronouns used for ease. This boat ramp is very very similar to one in our area. Most of my neighbors that live next to the boatramp have backyard cameras- due to their docks/boats, etc being behind their homes. They are also very nosey.

Also- most who "park" would not turn in to the left, directly behind people's homes, imo- and they do not come to "park" at 3am.

this may have been mentioned previously (thread goes too fast to read everything), but I am now wondering if HE was drowned and the indecent exposure was the M's changing out of their wet clothes.

I'm sorry, Salem! I honestly had no idea anyone would be at PTL at all when I drove down there to look for cameras. I didn't read the post about the cops being there until after I drove out there myself.

FWIW, the minute I turned the corner & saw the cops and news van... I panicked. I immediately turned around (that's why I didn't take any photos or why I couldn't exactly determine what types of vehicles were out there) because I didn't want the cops to think I was trying to be a busy body or that I was trying to interfere with the investigation!

Knowing my luck... the cops would think I was trying to interfere or that I was a family spy trying to get info and take me down to the station for questioning. I'd have a heart attack.

I'd be all like... No, sir. You've got it all wrong. I'm a member of Websleuths... you know, that online forum that wants to help Heather... and I just wanted to come down here and check out if there might be any cameras that could have caught something on tape. And they'd be all like... Ummmm hmmm, throw her in Cell Block D and then I'd throw up all over myself when I went through whatever that delousing process is at intake.

It probably just means I read too much detective fiction...

I guess it's always possible, BUT if I were one of the Moorer's and knew that I was innocent I would be absolutely BEGGING to take a polygraph and clear myself, rather than making things harder for LE and searchers. If they were framed, they sure are going about things very differently than most innocent people would. That's not to say framing couldn't be the case though. I'm sure stranger things have happened before. I personally feel that the right people are in custody though. IMO of course.

Not sure about the IE. Why would they need to go to 2 places to change clothes?

Or maybe I am confused there are 2 IE charges?

I was thinking they found video of Heather in the car or truck with them. Now it seems they think she was placed in the water at PTL. So, I am wondering if the statement about Heather leaving with them is true. If it is they must have gone somewhere and come back to PTL.

You're not confused. There are two separate charges for IE, and two separate locations. There's a nice map OkieGranny made that you can find on the first page of the thread, and it shows the location of both IE charges.

I think it's possible that the parents would lie for them. That may be what's being referenced in some of the articles that said there could be more arrests...someone who provided an alibi that proved to be a lie. IMO of course.

Or some type of body fluids like in Casey Anthony's car. We don't know for sure what occurred so there still may be a chance that they transported her and decided to place her remains elsewhere.

It is looking like today they still have belief or have been told she is still at PTL in the water...so my theory is probably not a good one.

Or, something happened in one of their vehicles. Perhaps HE got into SM's vehicle...and body fluids or hair was found there. From what I've read (and yes, the Anthony trial) no matter how well a person thinks they've cleaned something, evidence might still be found. And perhaps she was put into the water after something happened in a, say, truck.

How sad.

Exactly what I have been sitting here trying to figure out.

Is it possible that SM and HE did leave and then came back which is when SM showed up? Its still a viable option in my mind that SM came there alone to really meet her and TM showed up.

There is just something missing there for me...I don't know what it is. But I just don't feel like it was more than a set up for HE. I don't think SM was really meeting her without TM.

I know this is really far fetched, but do you suppose they may have worn wetsuits or something, and the first charge was them getting into them and the second getting out of them? Does the IE have to include a sexual component or just a naked body?

edited to add: maybe just bathing suits - not sure how cold it gets in MB
