What does this mean?

I think Creek-Ratz miiiight be referring to Heather smoking (or not smoking)???

As a VI, Creek-Ratz, pls feel free to tell us if we are way off base on anything. :) This way we don't waste time going down unnecessary tangents / speculation. :)

With all due respect, :), I highly doubt LE didn't do a neighborhood canvas / questioning of the neighbors. This is standard procedure. jmo How do we know they didn't go door to door? I don't believe this. (not being snarky :seeya: )

Road block canvassing by LE is recommended during missing persons investigations. Yet, none has been reported by ms media or the numerous locals on this site.

If something is posted, take heed. Believe half of what you see and none of what you read. Make up your own mind. Things are going to get bumpy from here on out. Kids say and post on SM. Forgive them for they know not what is best for them. In my opinion & my opinion is totally mine.

am curious, care to expand on your opinion ?

I can't help but still feel and think that LE and the Elvis's are focused on someone, they just don't have the needed proof YET. They are on him/her and when they get what is they're looking for that person is going down in a big way. I pray it's soon and we have more answers and not more questions.

I agree ~

I can see not posting it-to have info others don't for a perp to verify, again like you said with BD-her phone & purse details weren't released. I know the sunglasses were found but a photo of hers was never released. Then of course the ones found weren't BDs. Long story short, I can see both sides, but think it's more helpful than harmful at this point.

You gave me another thought. Wonder of they looked at what HE had on in the pic to her father & looked for those clothes in the condo or in the car?

RE: You gave me another thought. Wonder of they looked at what HE had on in the pic to her father & looked for those clothes in the condo or in the car?

'Now that's commonsense thinking out of the box, Caring4Many'.. Yet from ms media articles, no one seems to know what HE was last seen wearing.. WTH

Yes, surely she was wearing a coat to.

Great thought.

Her date would know what she was wearing that evening, unless she changed into comfy clothes, which is the first thing I do when I get home!

He actually lives in Georgia but is from Kentucky. I didn't find him on the RSO list in either state but that in and of itself means nothing. In hindsight an RSO would be monitored and would probably not be allowed to be "following" a young girl on FB or that is the hope anyway.

haha, I wiiiiish that were the case. We have uncovered a buttload of RSOs with fbs here on WS...its hard to track all their profiles...one member (VaSportsmom IIRC?) created a fb group and thread IIRC dedicated strictly to finding RSOs fbs (and as soon as she started doing this, profiles were popping up everywhere!!!)

Was a sign that someone else could have taken down or like a billboard?

Wait a minute....like that case, oh gosh what is it, trying to remember....the one with the fire at the (guy's?) work years later...there was a plastic tarp missing IIRC from the shop...someone kept taking down the missing person's banner...

Also, the other case where those ladies who kept taking down the missing flyers were caught on surveillance...

So, who took down the sign and why? (Not saying this is necessarily of any significance, but just wondering....<see my post above where perps have taken down signs in other cases>)

Assuming she changed out of what she wore on the date....because those clothes were in the condo, right?

Well, I don't know if I'm allowed to post this, but I'm getting a pm from someone who knows Heather saying she does not smoke.
(They are in the process of being verified)

Maybe she doesn't smoke cigarettes but maybe once in awhile partakes in a little herbal remedy :D as so many kids do? I know people that say they don't smoke but they're referring to ciggies, as they do smoke a joint every now & then. According to Heather's social media, since she typed this out herself, anybody would have a hard time proving she didn't smoke weed.

She said herself that she passed a drug test and smoked the day before what what... In so many words. I'm not seeing her having a problem with Mary-J. Only normal young college kid stuff. For whatever that is worth.

It seems odd or maybe it is me but no one has posted for 3 hours on FHEFB.............

Did Heather ever get her hair done at Artistik, or did she only just get a job to work there?

sooo very true!

Agree, margarita25.. From known info, the indicators point to a stranger predator abduction, imo. I am very concerned that this is not going to end well.
There is 8 unsolved missing/murdered female cases in Horry co/Myrtle Beach, SC in the past 8 years. While searching for Heather Elvis, Skeletal remains were located in a bone yard nearby her residence. One of the 8 unsolved murders; 23-year-old Amber Berbiglia vanished in broad daylight & found under a bridge blugendoned to death.

The remains located during the HE search may be unrelated to HE's case, but is eyeopening, non the less, imo. Although the first remains have been reported that they are from a 20 yr old male. It has yet to be determined whether the other 4 discoveries are human, or if so, the age and sex of the others are unknown.

Up the road near Columbia, in Springdale, SC a police impersonator coed rapist was active in Oct 2013. In the past few days, a Law enforcement vehicle was stolen. SPD, imo, is concerned that these two incidents may be related.

* Silence by HCPD investigators/PIO..
* HE's car found ackwardly parked and abandoned at PT Boat Landing.
* Cell phone inactivity - likely disabled, imo. Time of last known ping.
* Lack of social media activity & communication with family & friends by HE for 3 weeks now.
* 8 known unsolved missing/murdered females in the past years in Myrtle Beach/Horry County, SC in the past 8 years.

The remains found on Sat 1/4/14 were not human. Links in the UID thread on the Tidewater remains.

Have all of the searchers been checked out before they started searching, or is that not done when there's an urgent need for volunteers? I know they had to bring their licenses, but are background checks done then & there before they can search? Or wouldn't that make any sense since time is of the essence?
