I realize this isn't their first rodeo, and are quite capable of taking care of their interests. That is not what I said. Nor is this my first rodeo either. I have been around since the JonBenet case started, but using a different name because at that time I could only post from work.

So, I don't understand your statement.

Pointing out the mods know how to handle things...they have been doing this quite a while. I was only making a comment just the same as you made a comment, not saying anything against anything you said or making it personal.

Unless it just happened to already be wonky on June 4th, my opinion is that it was caused by the knife slipping. She definitely injured that finger that day (severed ligament?) given that her blood was mixed with his on that wall and she showed up bandaged at Ryan's.

I was thinking the other day...did she ever give HER explanation as to why her left palm print was on the wall, a mixture of her blood and Travis's? If her left hand wasn't cut, did she ever say where her blood came from?

Arizona doesn't DO insane. Your guilty but insane, go to the criminally insane facility til you're"normal" and then you do your time in prison.
Besides, she entertained us with her complete recall before and after the murder, her life history, and she had a psychologist up there who could have put insanity forward.
And if she pulls the suicide card, she will be continually housed in a tightly restricted area.
I think she's just buying time because there is absolutely nothing she or her attorneys can change, she will be going to Perryville. LWP/LWOP/DP.
If I was the defense, I sure wouldn't be getting JSS angry, she might just have the final call on CMJA's prison sentence.

Thank You!! I was certain IF Drs. said she is/was insane she'd recieve treatment and You wrote it better than I can! She will not as a miracle get out scott free. No Way!! If Az. is as tough as Ohio for insanity, she will never pull it off. I cant believe she is going this way. She must be listening to her Atty's. If judge puts this off I'll be po'd. I heard TH's on tv saying Arias is the priority case, attys. should hold off on another case. MOO- if they have to do Arias first, maybe they will get their *advertiser censored*ses in gear and move faster. They want to drag it in court too. The court must ch*t them a brick! :floorlaugh::stormingmad:

I guess the upside would be that the siblings of TA have enough time to save money and accrue vacation days so they can attend the sentencing trial. If JA is sentenced to death, they still have a long wait ahead of them.

Wouldn't it be nice if the convicted killer had to use her "tracing" money to put up the Alexander family. Maybe that would make her get this over with. The victim's family shouldn't have to continue losing everything waiting for justice to come. She has been convicted. Time for the killer to put her big girl panties on and get on with it.

The Alexander family will have a long wait regardless of how this turns out. Their lives will never be the same..ever! All because of one person. Pretty sickening when you think about it.

I doubt that JA makes much money selling her crap. I heard the Alexander's attorney is going forth with a civil lawsuit. So there might be money there. IMO...this case is nothing like the OJ Simpson civil lawsuit case, he had assests. JA, as far as I know has nothing. I have not heard that the Alexander family has lost anything. From what I heard the public was quite generous in their donations. But I really don't have the facts on that. And Tanisha and her family look like they are relaxing after the trial, per her FaceBook page pictures. I would not depend on JA's "tracing" money.:moo:

That was so funny! It rather reminded me of this dance number I saw a few years ago. It is Christmasy...but what the heck, it is almost Christmas in July so I will post it. Since nobody on this forum knows me IRL, I have to say that I really love this video and I am not making fun of the gentleman dancer.

:floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

This is the best theory yet that I have heard in how she may have injured the finger. :floorlaugh:

Either that or she is just double jointed from birth or she hurt it herself and it was her own fault.

That Fickle Finger of Fate gives me nightmares. :floorlaugh:

I still think she is double-jointed and can make those fickle fingers do what they may...The real killer was one of her stories that she makes up as she goes about how Travis bandaged up that f'ing finger with "popsicle sticks". I am sure the jurors believed that TA kept leftover popsicle sticks handy in the house in case he kicked some woman to heal her right up. Her story was a child story of popsicle sticks - That is where her mind is and was - She never grew up and still thinks of stories like this. JMO

Hmmm..maybe Owl City, The Postal Service or Kate Nash.

Fabulous recommendations! Thank you! I set my Pandora to your first recommendation of Owl City and it was so good I never got the next two for the rest of the day! I will do that another time. I love your taste in music.

I think it was the summer of 2010, Beth T (mom) was escorted in a back door as she was so recognizable. She was the only witness, iirc, and I remember she didn't look at us once. Instead she concentrated on the details of her testimony and described how sloot had contacted her representative asking for money in exchange for the info of where NH was. He had been gambling heavily, living large and was broke. FBI got involved and when sloot wired the money into his account, busted. He murdered again before that issue could be brought to trial.

I was very impressed with the strength and resolve that Beth exuded. She was wearing jeans and a white shirt, no makeup, iirc, and more focused than I could possibly imagine. I have utmost respect for her and know she's been through hell and back.

Sorry, I don't remember in great detail, but there was numerous circumstantial evidence found, his dad had power over the authorities and they jumped through hoops for him, imo, and sloot lied every time he opened his mouth.

Of course, he never did tell the mother where her daughter was, all that was a lie too. I don't know how she is doing now, but I think she remarried after Twitty divorced her. She also was involved with helping other parents of missing children. I just loved her.

Thanks :) Beth certainly fought like heck for her daughter and I admire her for that as well. While that was going on, I was glued to Greta's show every night for like a year. A co-worker of mine went to Aruba on vacation and I gave her a list of places to photograph, lol. My sleuthing obsession and the details of the case were both lost on her, she thought I was nuts. But sure enough, she did bring back some good shots of Carlos n Charlies and the beach area.

I have always believed that they took her body out on a boat that night and dumped her way out in the water. I agree that there is a ton of circumstantial evidence in the case, but just too many holes to hope for a conviction. I wonder what the Kalpoe brothers are up to these days. Those guys definitely know what happened. I don't know how they can live with themselves. And Joran's Dad surely knew his son's involvement too and helped him.

The fact that their story changed numerous times is obviously a problem, Joran was making calls from 2am-on that night she disappeared saying he needed a ride... either he or his dad withdrew money twice in the middle of the night - who were they paying off or hiring? Very strange activity that night and every day after. Joran is the ultimate sleezeball. I was not at all surprised when he was busted in Peru for yet another murder of a young girl. He is a very dangerous monster who should never ever see the light of day again.

I was thinking the other day...did she ever give HER explanation as to why her left palm print was on the wall, a mixture of her blood and Travis's? If her left hand wasn't cut, did she ever say where her blood came from?

According to her testimony she supposedly had cut her hand at the restaurant/bar she worked at before her trip to AZ/UT. At first she said she cut it on a glass, and then she said she cut it on some metal at the bar. She even took pictures of the bloody finger which they showed during trial. How convenient that she documented that injury  and none of the other horsesh#t that she claimed happened to her.

So supposedly the bandages that were on her hand when she went to see Ryan on June 5 were left over from that work injury.

I do recall that she also talked about cutting herself on a glass at Travis' house but I can't remember the specifics of that story, as far as the timeframe, etc.

And then of course she told ALV that she cut her hand while slicing apples.

And she told Flores during her interrogation that the ninjas cut her hand...

Oh and also, her cat scratches her a lot... and then Flores basically tells her "enough about the cat"... in other words, shut up you crazy b....

BBM I would never defend JA but I must say when I heard that TA used a popsicle stick on her finger it sounded plausible to me and my husband. Accordng to a few of TA's girl friend's blogs he had cookie parties at his house. MOO cos I cannot find the blogs now. I imagine JA was trying to please him with her cookie baking skills when Deanna dropped by. Anyway, it is possible that he did have popsicle sticks on hand to make Cookie Pops. My husband and I were raised Mormon and there is alot of childish behaviour going on in the Mormon singles crowd. I hate that I know that. We might never know how many Mormons sat on that jury but I bet they would know what I am talking about regarding the Singles and if there were Mormons on the jury they might have believed JA when she said TA stuck a popsicle stick on her finger. :moo:

I consume various frozen treats that come with popsicle sticks. I am not prompt about disposing of the stcks. I don't care to say a total number, but I would have at least one available within a close distance at all times. It's not like I would have to get in the car and drive around in search of one. :)

IMO, Joran VanderSloot had absolutely nothing to do with the disappearance of Natalee Holloway.

In order to believe the convicted killers story about a popsicle stick, one would have to believe the rest of the convicted killers story about Travis kicking her and breaking the finger. DIDN'T HAPPEN. Ever.

How so? As in his father was responsible?

No. I don't believe they had anything to do with her disappearance.

I feel weird discussing this on this thread, but only posted because of the previous posts.

OK, but would like to hear more about this - another place and time I guess

I never said I belived her. I said it was possible TA had popsicle sticks in his house due to his cookie parties. I don't belive in golden plates buried deep in a mountain side either. I don't know if TA kicked her or not because I did not know him. It appears that you did and you know he would never kick anybody. I am just saying that I did not know him. Don't forget, the jury never got to know and love TA like you and many others did through Tanisha, Dave Hall, Chris and Sky Hughes..and all the others..they never saw the wonderful memorials on YouTube. :moo:
