Driving by Travis's house tomorrow on our Arizona vacation. I feel sick even thinking about him .... knowing how he died.... anyway, I want to pay my respects.

I am so excited --- I just checked and found out i will have been an official member for an entire year on Friday! After years of lurking, JA brought me out of hiding.

All of you are the best of the best. Thanks for such a classy place to visit whenever I want. Flowers and goodies for everyone!

:tyou: :cupcake:

I awoke this morning listening to HLN with the announcement Robin Meade is resigning from Morning Express and Nancy Grace is replacing her!!

-----------
Oh daisy! I'm just catching up on reading~ you scared the Krap out of me!! I like Robin but even she isnt the same since their "big change" what a crock. Talk about bad to worse. by showing all those who done its they are saving money!! I;m not feeling much better, must go back to the Dr. on Friday. Bronchial pneumonia. Watch him want me in the hospital. I wouldnt care but I have to pay 260.00 a day..:loveyou:

Nore, sure was hoping to see that you were feeling better!

Didn't mean to scare you ... Nancy and Robin planned their prank live on HLN! I'm not that creative.

Hi Jodi
Several good things have happened since I last wrote on September 15th, when I told you that Debra Milke had been released on bail. Firstly, David Camm was found Not Guilty on October 24th, which was a major moment for me, I put a lot of effort into writing articles, analysing the case, re-writing the wikipedia article etc. Lynne Blanchard was running the support group, and I helped her out a bit, it was a huge success, starting from about 200 supporters, there were 1,000 by the end of the trial. I learnt a lot following the case on facebook from Don Rehkopf, who is a top attorney and a bloodstain pattern expert. David Camm has a fantastic defense team, and incredible witnesses, but of course it cost a lot of money. I just wish you could have attorneys and witnesses like David had.

During the David Camm case, Lynne told me about another case, James Stone, who has been wrongly in prison for 29 years. I have made contact with Patty his sister, and we have documented how the same crooked prosecutor, Stan Faith, tampered with the trial record to remove some perjury. I have two MORE cases as well, Hubert Mayhew and John Ramos, I have set up facebook support for them as well.

Also, a very bad bloodstain "expert" Tom Bevel was further discredited. This should help Darlie Routier, who has been wrongly on death row in Texas for 17 YEARS, partly on Bevel's testimony.

Also, another person I support is Ryan Ferguson, who recently had his conviction vacated and has now been freed after 10 years in prison. There was a lot of prosecution misconduct, but now he has been released, it is fantastic, his story is all over the news. He is an excellent speaker, he can be a real figurehead for wrongly convicted people. He had a huge level of support - the petition closed with Victory and 266,872 supporters.

By the way : I think you now have the BIGGEST support on Facebook for anyone who is still locked up : the Jodi Arias Support Page has 3,300 likes ( I just checked ! ). Please take some heart from that. Amanda Knox has more support, but she is not locked up ( and I hope will shortly be cleared after her second appeal ). Oh, I also made a group where sceptics can (without hating or name-calling) discuss your case.

I'm also looking at getting people together to tackle systemic problems with wrongful conviction in the United States as a whole, I have started a Facebook group "JusticeReform" which has more than 100 members already.
Well, there are many other things I could mention, but please take heart, keep fighting, I will certainly fight for you, and know that you are SO much admired and supported, and a true inspiration.

George"

I just can't understand this man- "...So much admired and supported.... a true inspiration"???? What can there be possibly be "admired" in a murderer?
He must be really cray-cray himself. He is seeking "justice" for a self-proclaimed murderer!!

He's just like the foreman and thinks it was "self-defense" because Travis was an "abuser" of little :genie: missy :jail: when he said "bad words" to her in a text. Garbage.

I got a very nice PM from someone asking how I've been, saying that I'm missed at the side bar. Thank you so much.

Today I attended the funeral for my uncle, the oldest of seven siblings. He died about two months after his sister died back in January.

We're at the end of an era. My dad's family has enjoyed very long lives, mostly free of health issues. My uncle was 90 years old and my aunt was 89. Now, with the second death, we are very aware that this seemingly indestructible family is in fact mortal. My uncle suffered a traumatic brain injury in 1995, yet the old soldier was like the EveryReady Bunny or a Timex Watch, but he succumbed to pneumonia and a UTI. My aunt managed to treat uterine cancer as a chronic illness for 21 years until it finally metastasized as a tumor on her vena cava.

Their deaths make it all that much more real that in time, my dad and his other brothers and sisters will leave our lives. It also calls to mind those of the next generation and beyond, who we lost far too soon. My brother, a cousin and a cousin's son.

I'm okay. I've been spending time with my family, both my immediate family and others as we work through this and support each other. Lots of jumbled thoughts and feelings inside of me right now, yet that is to be expected.

Life is a blessing and yet life is finite; it has an eventual end in death. No matter what the circumstances, death is always a loss if that person was loved. My uncle lived a good long life and survived well beyond what anyone would or could have expected. For that, I am grateful. It also reminds me of those who were lost well before it could have or should have been expected. Death due to murder, suicide or accident. Those deaths are more difficult to grieve.

RIP Travis, Uncle Ed and all those who have gone before us.

<3

I'm sorry for the loss of some of your family members. :therethere:
I am glad you spending time with your family- that's so important.
Please stop by here whenever you can. We care about you and would like to see you here sometimes.
I hope you have faith in life and find joy in it. :blowkiss:

How do I add a photo to my signature? or an attachment of my MonaLou. Not any of her boo boo, just of her face.

1) Go to UserCP option at the top of the WS page
2) On the left side, within "settings & Options" you will see "edit signature"
3) Within Edit Signature you can load your pic by clicking "browse" and inputting it from wherever it is on your PC. Upload pic.
4) Click "Insert Signature Pic"
5) You can make adjustments to how it is positioned in your sig by centering, left, right aligning it.
6) Make sure to click "Save Signature"!

Good Luck!

Hey all, Thanks for asking for me. I hope everyone is recovering well from illness and surgery. Goodness, I leave for awhile and look what happens ;). I am well and busy with horse stuff from the comfort of my bed. It is horse breeding season and I am hoping that the 2 mares catch on the first try. Fingers crossed. Celebrated my birthday with a nice quiet dinner at Perkins. Love me some breakfast for dinner.

Hope spring has sprung where you are or at least looking like it is trying to. It is cloudy and 62 degrees here and gonna rain. I will take it. No snow. I have been thinking about you all and hope this post finds you healthy and happy. God Bless you all. Xoxo
