Does anyone if the Alexander family can sue JA and stop that money train? If so, any reasons why they haven't?

Yes or No, in that black & white photo, Juan Martinez looks like a film star. My first glimpse of it, I thought he was one!

Any $$ I donate will be to the Families of Travis and Meredith Kercher to defray some of the costs in their search for justice in the murder of loved ones.

Yes, CMJA does appear to be having a flurry of communications lately, undoubtedly she is taking advantage of the privileges she has been granted with becoming her own attorney. This too shall pass. Three weeks & counting! Next up, the jury questionnaire. I imagine JA will draw this out as well-scrutinizing every question. If I was a prospective juror, I would be so creeped out if she questioned me.
I still think Ms Arias believes this phase is an opportunity for a mini "retrial". I hope JSS nips that in the bud & quickly. I am beginning to sense that the judge is tiring of JA's stall tactics, & that this time the trial date is firm & should move on as scheduled. Any guesses on what desperate tactics JA will try if her "motions" fail to delay? I have a few - migraines, suicide threats (time out for psych evaluation), or Sheriff Joe's staff prohibiting her from giving her a bandaid for a papercut, lol.
I still think she will relinquish her pro se one week prior to the start of trial. Then she can request a delay for her advisors to get caught up, or time to implement the defense JW & KN wanted all along.
I am still curious if she will be made to wear jail attire or civilian clothes. She is a convicted felon & should wear her stripes, IMO. But we will see.

Is JA permitted to make calls to her witnesses? Of course this is not a witness.
I think the contact has to be on a court approved list, or be made to "legal counsel" to be considered a 'legal' call. Which brings up the question of whether, say just for example, if she called a mitigation specialist assigned to her case first, and then the 3rd party was called from that phone...? That call wouldn't be monitored, and I'm wondering if it would also be outside the system MCSO has that is supposed to alert & disconnect 3 way calls?

Just a quick checking-in as we sit at Pizza Hut waiting for lunch. Had a bad storm Friday night and lost all our Comcast services. we don't have phone, internet, or TV service & don't know when it will be restored-- they keep adding another 12 hours to the timeframe

hope you are all well. will check back when I can

My great niece calls that a Boudreaux dog. When she was five went to pick out a BT puppy and this one little guy walked over and kissed her foot. She said that's my Bourdeaux dog. He died last February.
They fill such a large part of our lives, they love us unconditionally, and would fight to the death to protect us wouldn't they?

I know you will miss her every day. I sorry for your loss.

My husband and I have always loved Robert Palmer. Especially this song you mention, Simply Irresistible, and another oner, Addicted To Love. Very sad that this so talented artist died so young. Isn't it strange how these artists seem so immortal during their time here on earth. At least they seem that way to me. Then when they pass, it's like some kind of wake up call. If they are not immortal, then we surely are not. Well, perhaps I admire them a little too much, but they do leave their "ghosts" behind at least, in their music. A gift for us all that will go on until the end of time.

And thanks, BendPages for all of your "history".
