Jodi Ann Arias is a master manipulator. She has honed her skills since childhood, and she does not tell the truth if she can think up a lie.

She was NOT crying FOR Travis' family yesterday. She was crying FOR HERSELF. She was staring a hole through both siblings backs as they gave their heart-wrenching VI statements as if they were addressed to HER.She did not consider Travis a separate human being--she viewed him as an extension of herself, so she truly believes that she shares in the family grief as a fellow family member or good friend.

She enjoyed the VI statements--she was completely at attention for both siblings. Instead of hanging her head in SHAME for what she has done, she got off on hearing how SHE HAS HURT TRAVIS' FAMILY.She feels wrongly persecuted. She feels she is a victim--of Travis, of Det. Flores, of Juan Martinez and now of the jury--oh, and of her lawyers. That will never change. She lives her life as a victim and feels entitled to exact revenge for perceived wrongs. She feels justified in Travis' murder.

She has no redeeming qualities and needs to be kept away from other human beings because she is dangerous.

It was all a show for the jury...just like she turned towards them during Nurmi's closing. Notice she did not turn towards them during Juan's closing. Whenever she wants to convey something to the jury, she turns towards them.

Like you said, if she was really sad, she would have had her head down in shame, just like you said. That's what a normal person would do, not swivel their chair around and face them. It was all for the jury - she knew she was in their line of sight directly behind Sam and Stephen. She knew they would see her crying. She didn't HAVE to swivel her chair around, she could have still heard them even if she wasn't looking at them. She could have seen the pictures on the monitor right by her. There was no reason to turn that way, except to manipulate the jury.

It kinda says VOLUMES that after all the digging into 32 years of Jodi's life that the BEST mitigation witnesses the specialist could come up with are Patty & Darryl. (I had planned to be more descriptive of these two, but managed to rein my fingers in.:seeya

Plus everyone at court yesterday was saying they were both subpoenaed.

okay so I really hope dear jodi gets up there and talks about herself for several hours, about who she is and how difficult it is for her to look at the face of her abuser in his sblings, and how deluded they all are, and how she is worth saving because she learned to speak spanish in jail.

I suspect jodi of throwing a wrench yesteday, i don't know what she pulled , but now she has time to work on her statement.

jodi looked wasted yesterday, one eye just basically an out of focus smear on her face...pointing towards oblivion...while she was laughing tears...

remember...as sick as she looks, is as sick as she is, and jodi is a very sick girl...

remember, she enjoys this...even though Steve and Samantha tortured her by never saying her name or even alluding to her....

they know this was the ultimate snub, as jodi wants, lives an breathes for recognition as part of travis...

I cannot beleive there was no discussion on tele last nite regarding jodi's angry throat slash yesterday...it is seared in my mind, I saw the real jodi then and there.

I don't think the jury will see JA's BPD as mitigating. I think they'll see it as clear proof JA should be isolated to protect others from future violent outbursts, especially since the BPD is just one of her many pathologies. JA views herself as exceptional, and when it comes to being "messed up" she surely is.

Jodi's huge hands have attracted most court watchers attention I think only because we know what she did with them. Her bangs now are a different story. And I have bangs yet reserve the right to rip on hers ad to the point of nauseum.

Yes, this is exactly what I think of her hands. I find them creepy and disturbing and it has nothing to do with the size of them or how they look; it's what she did with them.

Also, after having seen the crime scene photos, I can't look at Travis without seeing what she did to him, particularly his face/neck.... for obvious reasons. I wish I didn't, but that's something not easily erased from one's mind.

If I'm not mistaken, JVM expressed that it is not Jodi's actual cell but a similar one. I wouldn't get my panties all in a bunch over it.

As well, watching that brutal murderer FAKE crying is infuriating to many. She has conned her way through life for 30 years. It's unlikely she would have been able to con the members of WS who can see through her psychopathic act like glass.

Once that brutal murderer is shipped off to prison, she will be a distant nightmare to the rest of the world. In the meantime......she's in the news, she's a psychopathic brutal murderer, she believes she can scam and con the rest of the world to this day, she is, frankly, a pathetic waste of oxygen.

And she has been convicted of 1st degree murder & possibly faces the death penalty. She is not conning anyone, if some think differently then that is their right. I don't care to force my opinion down their throat. However she reacts will infuriate, if there was no reaction this would be criticised too. Everyone at WS supports the Alexanders, but trashing everyone from her mother to a childhood friend who is testifying for her is undignified & unneccessary. The jury sees the truth, the public sees the truth & we can judge her as a murderer & a liar with a clear head. If a talking head on HLN or a supporter of Jodi disagrees so what? The jury didnt & that is the only thing that matters.

Sorry, not all of us are petite little things, and I am 5'6" as well as JA.... so...

My hands are actually very slim, long and pretty if I do say so myself, so.... There's that.

You're not kidding! Recently my hubby was trying to get a contract with the city of Santa Monica, Ca, and you had to check a box (or some such thing) that you weren't from AZ or did business in AZ if you wanted to be awarded the contract. I personally think that's ridiculous.

Don't know if anyone mentioned this - the pork rinds are in the chip aisle, prolly on the bottom shelf. Shop Rite does carry them...Just looked at Frito Lay's website (the producers of Baken-Ets)....

Here I buy the chicharrones (sp).. in the Mexican food aisle. harder as I like them.

I looked at the pic on the wall (enlarged) it is a Mama elephant with a baby elephant beside her. With the word "mommy" above them. I can not make out the writing above each elephant though.

I cannot wait until Monday, it ought to be a doozy! I was beyond furious yesterday when "court was unable to continue" or however JSS stated it. Then I sat back and thought "you have watched this since January, it's BS and typical."

O/T We are supposed to leave the hospital today! Fingers crossed. Kyle wanted his head shaved (it was already bald in the back) but when I started he said it hurt so of course I stopped. Well he has been using a lint roller, of all things, and has been working on it himself.

I agree. My confidence in this jury comes from the obvious dedication and attention to detail they've shown through their questions and previous verdicts. The next phase wont be down to whether or not she did it (they know she did) or whether or not they like her (I think they don't) or even whether or not it was cruel (no doubt).

I feel sure they will follow the letter of the law, and diligently weigh the mitigating factors, or lack thereof, as they've been instructed - and there just are none.

Even Bundy and JW Gacy volunteered and were active in their communities. She's got nuttin'!
