About 10 days from opening statements, and another Arizona case that's had delays. I don't know if I'll jump into it, but at least it's NOT trial by tweet!
I didn't like it that "grandma" pulled the race card on what she claimed was a lack of LE conducting their search for Jhessye, but damn skippy, lady, they spent MONTHS digging through the land fill and you can thank your daughter for Jhessye's body never being found. And grandma should have spent time in prison for her own drug and child abuse. (Jerice HAS mitigators.)
It's really sick that MSM puts these "heartbroken moms" on television who are, in fact, the killers of their own children. How many times do we see this and something tells us, "eh, something's kinda wonky with that woman." But MSM just keeps them in our face.

Mind you, this is before I swore off regular TV! :facepalm: Locally, it was Jhessye almost every night for months on local news. LE had a pretty good idea what was going on after checking Jhessye's school attendance and her other siblings were removed from the home and started talking in the first few days of the search/investigation.

I may try to follow this one too.. As long as JSS is not in charge of this one! :facepalm:

I'm watching day One right now. Pretty interesting because you can hear all the sidebars which is a first. Also very funny... first video 1 minute and 40 seconds in Nurmi makes his first request for a mistrial! LOL They didn't even start yet and he was crying mistrial!!
I may not be able to stomach the whole thing but, I'm taking a quick watch through and will probably skip over the junk we know by heart now.

I'm still feeling sick (it's just a cold )

I was shopping and the cashier had one of those paper mask thingys over her nose and mouth.
I thought she was probably worried about germs from all the customers, but maybe she was sick?
And now I'm sick. I feel achy and fuzzy, drippy nose, throat sore, and runny eyes- feel as if someone beat me. Rest is what I need. fftobed:
and that's what I've been doing.
I'll be fine in a couple of days.
Meanwhile, I rest, so don't worry about me.

Thank you, Yes & No. I am happy you are feeling better and hope you know how much you are appreciated for your witt and humor. Those last few Donavan pearls were uplifting.
Can't wait until our evil selfish narcissistic murderer begins to fade into obscurity.
The murderess even throws her own Aunt under the bus when she no longer suits her.
The second DUI by Ben makes me hope he will get his driving privileges suspended before he kills someone else or himself.
And BTW, I agree with Bernina and put the blame squarely on JSS shoulders. Travis Alexander deserved better than Judge Sherry. That judge gave incomplete jury instructions to the jury in the guilt phase, and should have respected Juans input in trying to remove #17
