She hasn't been sentenced yet.

I know I know I know I was just wishing as I said. But it just makes me want her to go there as would she not be going to the same prison either way?

It was just a wish.

So what percentage of the papers have you graded right now? hope that you finish up soon!

And she may as well be in prison because her isolation part is the same. Gives her lots of time to think until July 18th. I think if it were me I would just tell the truth. Most people believe the worst already. Just ask JM for mercy and she is willing to tell what happened in exchange for LWOP. It's a 50/50 shot and better odds than with a jury.

Cool. BTW evidence-based research shows that most Female Stalkers have BPD, however, it is important to know that not all BPD'd females are Stalkers.

Maybe someone will help my faltering memory re ALV and JM's go-round re whether JA stalked TA. I remember her claiming JA's move to Mesa wasn't stalking, and I remember JM directing her to her "guideline/roadmap" on the screen where I'm guessing "stalking" appeared. I never got a clear look at that chart. Anyone remember what JM was trying in vain to get ALV and her-lying-eyes to admit re stalking on that roadmap of hers?

Yah and look at Robert Towery staring at him from behind the "cage"...creepy.

Yeah he's staring a hole through Juan. If I was hearing Juan say things that were wrong, I'd be shaking my head or something....but he just stares at him. Juan is good...he breaks things down to "normal people speak". And that's what the foreman thought was being talked down to. What a dweb. :floorlaugh:

I don't think she's capable of telling the truth, in a Casey Anthony sort of way (remember "The truth and Ms. Anthony are strangers"?). Anyway, who would believe her? I'd rate her odds 10/90.

Hi everyone! Because of work, I haven't been able to post, only read a little to catch up. I feel sick over the "hung jury", and feel the same as most of you about the Foreman-ugh!

Have any of the jurors who have been talking, doing interviews been asked how they feel about ALV's testimony? I'm so curious about this. Thanks!

Welcome to our group Lorraine77! :seeya:

Someone's probably already answered you but some of the jurors are going to be interviewed tomorrow evening on Headline News....Jane, nancy, and dr. Drew shows. I think several people have posted interviews already done, just scroll back a bit and you'll find them

I do not think she will and she is still holding out for that appeal card. She is knowing that the appeal process.. To work ... She needs to have her still claiming her innocence.

Yes, I believe so.

As soon as I heard it was a snarky comment that got #5 booted ... I thought ..Oh well ... I guess EVERYONE at WS would be kicked off too...
Nurse would be on a permanent snark watch to avoid a mass TO. :seeya: We love you Nurse and miss you!

Can you imagine what our topic of conversations would be during the trial when we CAN'T discuss the case? :floorlaugh:
Other trials? :floorlaugh:

Can you imagine all of us in a room behind closed doors! :D

LOL I've got a ways to go.

Never. Even her fake nightmares will be filled with fake details.

I kinda think Jodi has told us some of what happened. I think the Ninja story has some truths. It had a man and a woman. a gun and a knife, Travis screaming and in pain, a full intent to kill him.
Why did she say the Ninjas came there to kill him? Was it about money?

So true. I live in a state that does not allow Victim Impact statements to be used as evidence or to be considered when sentencing. And I beleive that is fair for all the reasons you stated.

Back when I worked for the courts VIS were just being introduced. There was a person who worked with the victims families, sat with them in Court, brought children teddy bears.

Victims Rights have come a long long way and it seems to me that actually being able to stand in court and make a statement on how the crime has changed your life and your feelings about losing your loved one goes a long way in the healing process (if that is ever possible).

At any rate having those words and statements in the record is the very least the court can allow in this day and age of the defendant having so many rights. :twocents:

And missing our "little buddies" that got kicked from the jury when they did something that was out of line! ;)
