Charles Vadner, 52, Paynesville
Charles W. "Tuna" Vadner, 52, of Paynesville died on Saturday, Nov. 22, from injuries sustained in an automobile-train accident near Paynesville.Memorial services were held on Friday, Nov. 28, at the Eden Valley Church of God. Private burial will take place at later date.
Charles "Tuna" was born on Sept. 3, 1962, to Russell and Donna (Lehnen) Vadner in Paynesville.
He attended Pay-nesville Area High School. Tuna was employed by Jennie-O for many years.
He is survived by his parents, Russell and Donna of Paynesville; three brothers, Lester, Bruce, and Abraham, all of Paynesville; a niece; two nephews; and 12 great nieces and nephews.
Nathan Bahner, 23, Paynesville
Nathan J. Bahner, 23, of Paynesville died on Saturday, Nov. 22, as a result of an automobile-train accident.
His memorial service was held on Saturday, Nov. 29, at Paynesville Lutheran Church.
Nathan Joe Bahner was born on July 8, 1991, to James and Cindy (Paglusch) Bahner in Paynesville.
He grew up in Paynesville, where he attended school and was a member of the Crow River Trail Guards.
Nathan is survived by his parents, Jim and Cindy Bahner; brothers, Samuel Bahner of Paynesville and Zachary Bahner of El Paso, Texas; a niece; maternal grandmother, Kathy Maloney of Paynesville; fiance, Jessica Fisk; and five aunts.
Nathan was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, maternal grandfather, and four uncles.
Both of these men had a history.....
