They've had all week to have forensic teams in there. Guess they have gotten a whole heck of a lot of stuff and it is now clear for her to go in. IDK to be honest.

They only identified them on Thursday,so they haven't had much time to do anything.

The FBI was last night hunting a 12-strong terrorist “sleeper cell” linked to the Boston marathon bomb brothers.

Police believe Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev were specially trained to carry out the devastating attack.

More than 1,000 FBI operatives were last night working to track down the cell and arrested a man and two women 60 miles from Boston in the hours before Dzhokhar’s dramatic capture after a bloody shootout on Friday.

A source close to the investigation said: “We have no doubt the brothers were not acting alone. The devices used to detonate the two bombs were highly sophisticated and not the kind of thing people learn from Google.

“They were too advanced. Someone gave the brothers the skills and it is now our job to find out just who they were. Agents think the sleeper cell has up to a dozen members and has been waiting several years for their day to come.”

A specialist team of CIA and FBI interrogators was yesterday flown to a Boston hospital to grill wounded Dzhokhar, 19, about the secret group. The University of Massachusetts student was caught on Friday after hiding out in a boat parked in a garden in locked down Watertown the day after a gun battle with police left his 26-year-old brother and a rookie cop dead.

If that's true, then they were a couple of patsies. IMO

Ah, you're right, I'm thinking week as we've been dealing with it a week. I really don't know. I hope they had teams of people with excellent and different specialties clearing it.

Facts came out tonight I had not heard before.

Boston Chief of Police said on CNN tonight: No.2 ran over and killed his brother
No.1 during the shootout. COD of No.1 is brother hitting and running over him, not
gunfire or wounds! No.1 has no severe gunshot wounds of any kind!

The Boston COP said as no.1 charged police, several police went forward
in a hail of gunfire and tackled No.1 to the ground and had him subdued.
No.2 got into the SUV and sped forward straight at his brother and the
policemen ... the policemen jumped off to the side and No.2 ran straight
over his brother killing him... without this No.1 would have been captured
and would still be alive.

<corrections made to the above - sorry! Georger>

That is a detail I had not heard before.

I'm not sure how much of that is correct (even reversing the #1 and #2) - the doctor who worked on #1 said he had massive penetrative injuries. He was filled with wounds head to fingers to toes. He wasn't "only" run over and dragged, he was filled with shrapnel and/or other things (bullets?). I'm sure that getting run over and dragged when your body is filled with penetrating wounds contributed to his death, but even the Doctor who worked on him said he could not say which injuries led to his death - that was a question only the medical examiner could answer.

To me - all those penetrating wounds? Sounds like he was hit by shrapnel from the bombs he was throwing in the firefight. JMO.

I have to disagree. I watched him and he was ANGRY!!! He says they shamed the family, shamed the religion and shamed his homeland. I think he wanted to make it perfectly clear to EVERYONE that he 100% denounces what his nephews have done. I can't say I don't blame him. A bit over the top? I don't know. It seems everyone is the family is a bit over the top, but perhaps it is a cultural thing. I know that my grandpa, who was from the old country in Italy never spoke without yelling. I always thought he was mad at me!

Yes! My relatives live in Greece and I was always scared of them when I was little because they yell and smack the table for emphasis & made all of us American little ones cry, lol. It's just how they talk. It looks like an argument but is normal dinner conversation. Combined with the truly emotional over the top subject matter - his nephews are actual baby killing terrorists - it makes sense that he was really animated and vocal and loud and perhaps to our ears exaggerated.

Are we to think that nobody saw them making the bombs if they made them at one of the houses. It probably took them many hours/days to get things all setup. Are we to believe not even one other person saw them if they worked in their own kitchen.

I think others were either part of it or at least knew about it and saw them making the bombs.
Anywhere is right, but where is the evidence of the bomb making? Wouldn't there at least be gun powder left behind? Could these two really have cleaned a kitchen enough not to have left any evidence?

What? The FBI found tons of bomb making equipment in the apartment! They found pipe bombs, fuses, synthetic powder, etc - that's why they started evacuating the neighborhood. See more here for starters: http://www.local12.com/content/brea...nt-of-Dead-Boston/3xj8jL_kekG6kb_cpCGvCg.cspx but there are plenty of articles about this.

#1 didn't have any American friends, so I doubt he was hosting dinner parties, but in fact he could easily have made pipe bombs and not had them displayed in his house. High school students make them in their room or basement, so it's not something that necessarily has to take over the entire house. #2 lived elsewhere, so he was free to party and eat string cheese and borrow cats or whatever without anyone knowing that on weekends he sometimes went to his brother's and made pipe bombs.

I think there's a lot of misinformation in that article.

BBM

Yes they did.

(Man, they were slobs. Lol. Can't stand all that crap piled up and laying around.)

So this was not where the wife and 3 year old lived, this was just the brothers "man space"?

I'm not sure which place. I woke up to see Swat team members laying on a roof looking in windows. Checked the scanner thread, they said bombs in the house. So, I don't know which house. I'll see if I can find any article saying which one.

ETA: Here is one, the Norfolk Street house:

The run down posted here, but lots to read through:

So the apartment had plates of "half eaten food". Did they stop in the middle of dinner and decide to rob a 7-11? Didn't someone say the younger brother went to an ATM and got cash at some point?

Why go rob a c-store? They have camera systems and such.

I think the Mirror might be the British equivalent to the Enquirer here.

The Mirror and Sun are slightly above the Daily Mail in terms of credibility. To compare them to the Enquirer is actually quite flattering ;) .

Didn't know, thanks for telling us.

From Norwegian newspaper, Dagbladet:

"Washington Post writes that the images of the reaction to 19-year-old when the first bomb explodes will be a "very incriminating evidence", much more than the public knows, the newspaper said, quoting Gov. Deval L. Patrick in the State of Massachusets"

Interesting. Have any of you seen those pictures and could you provide with link? Pictures might have been published in the "crowd sleuthing" process...

Was he happy/smiling/cheering?

They did not rob the 7/11. They carjacked there. DT was actually in line to buy snacks, when TT ran in and said they had to leave. There is a link to this somewhere. DT got money from ATM at Bank of America at 11:18. This was after they shot the MIT officer.

On CNN last night, they interviewed a local resident who witnessed the shootout from his upstairs apartment window. From his vantage point, he couldn't see the suspects initially, but could clearly see the police presence. He saw devices exploding. He saw suspect #1 rushing towards the police who were trying to subdue him and get him in cuffs. At that point, he saw suspect #2 drive towards the officers holding his brother. The officers barely managed to get out of the way in time. Suspect #2 ran over his brother and the body was dragged approximately 20 feet. All according to the witness.

Really? I'd have put them below the Daily Mail. Or equal at most.

That's some cold actions. Or some messed up drugs, alcohol, and pure fear. Imagine how he must feel. I wondered why the hate posts during the chase, figured it was passing blame after we heard about it.

Awful as this sounds, I hope someone got it on video. I don't want to see it, I want the family to know so they can understand that it wasn't the big bad U.S.

Sorry quote isn't working.

And I dunno...little brother was probably half baked the whole time, if they didn't finish their dinner because they had to go on the lamb I can see him insisting on some chips for the drive.

I have only seen the one of him walking away. I just got up though, so they could be out there.

I will say, the Feds had much more evidence that these were the perps before they ever would have put those pics on t.v. No way they would take that chance without certainty and a whole lot more footage making it clear. Too dangerous.

We may never see the footage, unless there is a public trial, or the Government decides it is in the publics best interest to see it.
