This is about the Misha in the video...

In the uploaded video, Misha is being interviewed in Russian by another man who remains unnamed throughout the 18-minute interview.

They speak about Misha's conversion to Islam eight years ago, and his further conversion to Shiism, less than six months ago.

Misha says that he converted to Islam after he moved to Pyatigorsk, a city which borders Chechnya, and then to Shiite Islam in 2012.
Eight years ago would be about 2005.

I said "AH HA" when they reported that he escaped. Because them letting him go just didn't seem to fit with what their actions were.

They had bombed the Marathon looking for massive carnage, and had killed a cop! Letting the carjacked victim go just wasn't sitting right with me and many others. It made much more sense that he escaped. Thank goodness he did...
Because them letting him go just didn't seem to fit

That is how it hit me too until clarified two days later with the interview with victim.

I wonder what Dzhokhar is thinking tonight. I hope he is beyond remorseful with himself and his actions. His life is over regardless if his punishment is life in prison or death. I just can't wrap my brain around WHY he did this. There is evidence as to why Tamerlan did this...but not his brother. I just don't get it.

Please, I wouldn't waste my energy on wondering whether this waste of oxygen is remorseful or not.

Did he then immediately call police?

He was so lucky!! Thank God.
Well ! The victim was really distraught. He ran across street. The clerk at this place, first thought he was just drunk and a bit afraid.

The worker ultimately beleived him, dialed 911 on his cell phone, and handed phone to victim who reported.

Then hell broke out and the rest is chapter 16 of any history book ever written from now on..............

I am wondering, Why Tamerlan T used the

name(? I guess it is a name) for his youtube videos?

Oh Capri... My oh my how I LOVE sleuthing with youuuuu! Have you googled the name? Hint - it's short for a larger name...

:blowkiss:

I think you are really underestimating him.
He had a very short time to walk away from the bomb before it blew up.
I don't think someone completely stoned would make a good terrorist.

I know someone who smokes pot all the time (and he's now in his 50s, an old Hippy). He has smoked and worked all his life, full time, he has a house, a family. He functions completely normal, although first thing in the morning he rolls a joint. Some people don't space out when stoned.

But maybe you're right, maybe DT wasn't stoned, maybe he was on coke.

So this wife supposedly didn't know anything, despite either living there with him, or her child living with him, or dropping her child off for him to babsyit?
It doesn't appear we can get a straight answer on the most basic info-was she living there or not?
And where was the child when the "babysitter" was allegedly setting off bombs or killing a cop?

We need to get an animated GIF of Cousin Eddie from National Lampoon's Chrismas Vacation for this one... The part where Cousin Eddie is emptying his sewage in the storm drain in front of Clark's house, while drinking a beer & shouting "$h!++er'$ full" - yep fits perfectly at this point!

Or maybe he just simply did it for his beliefs, their beliefs. Not saying its right but people all over the world kill for their country all the time. Maybe these people killed for the radical ideals they attached themselves to.

Wow, that globe interview with Danny is extremely well written. Very harrowing, I felt so tense, and was moved to tears more than once reading about what this poor man was suddenly faced with.

I hope he asked that girl out - the one in NY he said he was secretly in love with, that he was afraid he would never see again!

I agree it's a huge mixed message, its a huge hypocrisy, actually... and I am firmly against any and all killing by our government. :(

I used to be, very adamant. Until I started studying history, other cultures, current climates and realizing why it is necessary. It is a huge step and is still painful, but, there are some places that want our country destroyed. Some with reason, some without. It is confusing, but I am now happy that I live here, and that our country does what is best for us not in the know.

Let's just say, you would not be reading here if you couldn't handle it and part of you wants to know.

Dunno

We kill for others killing?

Mixed message to me!

Right.....so to show them they were wrong for killing for killing lets put the death penalty on DT cause having another killing to show killing is wrong will certainly clarify this mixed message. :floorlaugh:

It makes me wonder if she didn't know more about TT's plans than DT did. My hinky meter is screaming. JMO, OMO, MOO, etc.

People on coke don't space out either....they just get really alert and move their jaws a lot.

Are you saying why capital punishment is neccasary?

Out of all the "developed" countries in the world, the USA is actually in a small minority of countries that still use the death penalty.....so apparently the majority of the rest of the "developed" nations would not agree with its necessity.

I think it's an attempt to understand his motives, because understanding the motives can lead to better protection in future. A criminal who feels remorse is an entirely different thing than one who is proud of his crimes. A remorseful person is more normal and thus even creepier. He could be your friend or neighbour or even family member. I think it's very important to understand DT, his past, his character, his mind set, his motivation. And remorse is a part of that. It's a very important indicator.

The Misha in the vid doesn't appear to be a redhead as the kitchen table Misha was described. Misha is as common as Mike, but being a convert is a coincidence. I wonder if kitchen table Misha even exists.

One of the uncles also saw him I believe, talking with TT at the kitchen table. I could be wrong ...

Nope. Opposed to DP.

But, I learned why some wars are necessary. Not easy, and not comfortable with it. I am happy I live in the U.S. though.

I kind of wondered if he exists also. The timeline though seems to fit as well as the comments on Misha's change in religion and TT's ire. I believe they claimed Misha had a red beard - some people do have red beards and brown hair. I'm think that at the least the Algerian might not be true?

Here is a link to the Islamic terrorist group in Dagestan - which is where the parents are right now, right? And this would be where Dead Bomber went last year?

Sure sounds to me that if you wanted to learn how to build a bomb, it might be the place to go....

Well try yet another... How about The Black Flags From Khorasan was uploaded to his account 4 months ago...

His YouTube stuff:
www.youtube.com/user/muazseyfullah

Wanna know about how dangerous The Black Flags From Khorasan are? Here ya go - this is their official blog & I'm only linking it bc it was obviously something Tamerlan believed in or he wouldn't have it in his YouTube...
http://blackflags1.blogspot.com/2010/08/introduction.html?m=1

Google search on black flags from khorasan:
http://www.google.com/search?q=black+flags+from+khorasan&nomo=1&biw=320&bih=416

Note - they are some of the most dangerous radicals in the world.
