This Family is United

It became very clear to me, after seeing Lee's deposition, what the "united" statement meant. They are all united in KC's defense, is what I take it to mean. What a gross injustice to the memory of Caylee !

United in the way of a typical dysfunctional family. Never reveal the deep, dark family secrets. Appearance is everything. Keep the bad stuff hidden.
All of them will lie at any cost to protect Casey. Poor, poor Caylee, she never had a chance in a family like this. Her memorial should have been only about her, it wasn't! A memorial is no place to solicit writing to her murderer!

If they want to be united, I say let's unite them in a family jail cell. They can spend eternity living as one big happy family. The only problem will be that KC will have no place to dispose of the other family members when she murders them.

All I pray is that Mallory takes her child and runs away.

I empathize with the Anthony family for what they have had to face and for what still lies ahead. I'm aware this is not a popular sentiment on this forum; nevertheless, it is how I feel. And I understand them supporting KC, Cindy's attempts to mislead LE with changing stories and misplaced hairbrushes notwithstanding. I think that they have "circled the wagons" around KC now that they know there is nothing they can do anymore to save Caylee. They were just an average American family going about their little lopsided lives until KC turned their worlds upside down. Now they have to reconcile that they have lost not one, but two family members whom they loved. While I am sure there is anger toward KC, there is also obviously love, and I can't fault them for that. Parents protect, and if they are to be guilty of something, I think it's that they protected KC way too much and for far too long from the repercussions of her actions. But I know many other families who are guilty of the same thing, and their children ultimately turn out to be fine and would never consider doing the horrific things KC has done. In many ways, parenthood is just a crapshoot. Nothing is a given.

One cannot take the life of another family member & the rest form a protective circle around the murderer. In this case Cindy could become so angry at Casey stealing from her Grandparents that she physically expresses her rage. Yet she says Caylee, a helpless toddler was the greatest gift she had ever been given ,and it was alright for her mother to take her LIFE???????
These Anthonys chill me to the bone. I cannot fathom such cruelty in thought or in deed. Casey does not deserve prayer & comfort. She should be punished for her murdering Caylee ,for stealing & for lying. That is justice. I pray for justice for Caylee for comfort in the arms of the angels, sympathy that she had such a short time on this earth. I am sorry she had to be in that family. God has his plans for that sweet soul.

My bold above. Respectfully akashana, the Anthonys were no where near normal at any time. :(

I posted last night on the timer 55 thread that I think it just became clear to me why the A's all said June 8 as the last day they saw Caylee.

That was the day "the friends" left for P.R. They wanted to pin the kidnapping on them. "The boys did this."

I said thank God for the Father's day video to set things straight.

The video messed up their whole timeline to cause people to conclude that someone had taken Caylee to P.R. Their lies escalated and made less sense. How could Amy (for instance) be ZG when she WAS in P.R. when this happened.

They were willing to use the convenience of KC's friends trip as a cover.

After the reveal of the tape, they stuck to the kidnap theory but tried to move the abduction to B.P. By then they were knee deep for implicating ZFG.

Maybe her showing up at SG was a bit of "divine intervention" as strange as it seems.

Wow, amazing stuff! Kudos!:highfive:

I believe the PR trip was in July. KC had AH's car and picked them up at the airport. Cindy called AH to find out where KC was the day AH came home from PR.

I know. Sorry folks. I got overly excited before I checked da facts.

Cindy is the leader of this family, which would be ok if she wasen't such a disturbed individual herself. George is hen pecked to the point that his actions and feelings are almost robotic and if he veers from "Cindy Issums" he will be repraimaded and put back in his place. Lee is "out there" also and acts like a blubbering idiot most of the time. Thats the way Cindy wants him to be so people will be somewhat mad at him and indirectly take some of the anger away from Casey. Casey is a spoiled murdering brat, she should have never gotten pregnant or should have been allowed to put the baby up for adoption, but again Cindy wanted another baby so she took Casey's. I believe she rules the roost with an iron fist and if you want to steer clear of her wrath you do as she saysThey don"t realize the way we do how foolish they appear. They continue in this fairy tail and they always will because they do not realize how sick they really are.Look how Cindy responded to her own brother when he tried to reason with her, and when he said at his wedding how obvious it was Casey was pregnant and George and Cindy denied it some more parts of the fairy tale, and I'm sure Lee went along with this story too. I wonder if Mallorey can see how dysfunctional this family is and if she ever trys to talk to Lee about it or even if he would listen, and what Cindy would say if she tried to make them all see what we see. She would have to be in my opinion like them or she wouldn't be able to stand how they act and would be ashamed to be associated with them. Sorry this rant was so long

This family is United ! H-h-mmmm

United is to come together as One !

Oh ! There's the problem ! And seems it always has been.

They think and act as One, with CA doing the talking.

No separate personalities, characteristics, nor individualities.

Therefore, this is not a family at all, and no individual people.

They are obsessions and posessions, ruled and owned.

No good can ever come from a situation like that- merely a time-bomb waiting to go off.

Childen need to be supported and disciplined. Parents need to get off their ego trips and

recognize these needs.

Only those who live in fantasyland have perfect children and families.

When a parent strives for perfection, it's probably due to an immense ego or lack of self

esteem and a need to prove something to someone. It is not fair to pass this problem

onto their offspring. The offspring will likely grow up in your likeness, with no self

esteem, no idea of their own individuality, thoughts, or desires. A mere weak copy of

someone else.

As for a man who allows himself to be controlled by his spouse- Sorry, no sympathy here.

He came into this relationship, supposedly as an adult- then

The spouse probably has something to hold over his head, and if he allows it, shame on

him. For the spouse who holds something over the other spouse's head, shame on you,

that is not love- that is trying to control one- it's selfish and greedy- It too will come

to no good- Either forgive and move forward or end the relationship.

I am curious about what this statement means. Opinions, anyone?

This family is united ..
Means:

We are one and will always stand behind Casey and throw all others under the bus (including Caylee) ..

Interestingly enough, the family seems only to be united from one direction. That says to me that those who claim a unity the other party does not reciprocate has something to lose if that other party doesn't stay united.

I still say if there wasn't a huge family secret that Lee Cindy and George are protecting, they would have walked away from Casey the night Cindy dragged her home from TonE's.

I also think there is a huge family secret. Several things aaid between KC and her parents lean towards this as well as the rather compartmental lives they seemed to live before this all happened. Wonder if it will eventually come out at trial? Maybe as part of the defense?

Great post!!

Cindy herself is as disordered, if not more-so than her daughter which IMO would make her the last person able to recognize a like-illness in her daughter. She doesn't see her own behaviors and coping skills as flawed or dysfunctional why would she think Casey's are?

"When in Rome do as the Romans do."

So true and is what makes healing so hard for individuals that come from dysfunctional families. "You are what you eat."

Take alcoholism, for instance. A child grows up witnessing its affects his whole life, probably has a genetic predisposition to having it himself, so it should be no surprise when he grows up to be a drunk. The family refuses to see what's at the CORE of the joblessness, broken marriages, etc. If they did, they would have to change too. Always easier to blame than to be blamed. In the meantime, if you challange the problematic family, they UNITE, and throw you out on your arse so-to-speak (cuz you're a party pooper).

To carry the story one step further, since you're the only one who still has an income, they call you to bail out the guy who just got a DUI. When you say "no" not now, not ever again, you are thrown into the "thou art so holy pile" and hated forevermore. You realize you can't help those who will not help themselves but still feel sad. It takes a lot of resolve to keep straight in your own head the lessons you've already learned. Guilt creeps in. Why should I be able to (some treat) while so-and-so is suffering?

Life sucks sometimes.
