I so agree with him. I just hope that people who watch Nancy Grace realize that LP injected himself into this case and into the search effort. I'm so afraid that this will all reflect badly on Tim and the good work that he does.

It's too bad cooler heads did not prevail and people stopped to look logically at this latest antic.

Take a good look at the spot that is being searched - does that really look like a logical place to hide a body if you don't want to be caught? It's all open, people are walking by, people are jogging, people are walking dogs and there is a row of houses that backs up directly on the spot. So let me ask you, if you wanted to dispose of a body and did not want to get caught, exactly how and why would you put a body in that particular area? All day long people are walking around, the park police are patrolling, people could be in their backyards - someone could SEE YOU. It doesn't make any sense. According to the forensics report, it could not have been on the 24th - no way, no how. That "cross" is obviously not made out of beads, it is ridiculously big, it looks like something a little kid would make and it doesn't make sense for her to mark the spot - it isn't buried treasure that people would be looking for with X marks the spot. It's an in your face, very visible brightly coloured kiddie cross, not a subtle hint by any means. Also the gate closes at dark and during daylight hours anyone can see you.

Just try to put yourself in KC's shoes - you have a dead body in the car, you don't want to found and you really, really don't want anyone to link you to disposing of it. What area would you go to? Wouldn't you go to an area where people don't jog, they don't walk their dogs, they don't stroll and they don't fish? Wouldn't you go to some industrial area where people work and go home at night and joggers aren't running by and nosey dogs aren't digging around? It would be a lot easier than taking a huge chance on being seen at a public park, wouldn't it? It would be an area like that Lake Underhill area where there is light industry and people go home at five o'clock and they don't go tripping around in the woods that are around the businesses. Isn't that also where LE was most interested as was Equusearch? KC is not someone who wants to get caught, it feels burdened by this, who would feel sentimental to leave either a sign of respect or a neon sign in a tree, blinking on and off "here I am!!" KC is about self preservation, not dropping bread crumbs like Hanzel and Gretel so that someone can rescue her.

If you want to help solve this crime, you have to put aside the emotions, the spats and the spectacles and try for some logic and objectivity.

I agree w much of this, although it offers easy access to water and at night if it isn't patrolled one could conceivably pull right up closer to water's edge. It would be convenient, close in, a relative comfort zone (since KC was familiar w parking, proximity to water, period of times it was likely empty etc) while not out in the crittered wild. Regardless of location, immersion would require enclosing a weight, it could be a weight which ultimately caused the bag to break. JMO

This certainly brought me out of my self ban today. What is sad here, is that once again, CASEY is causing people to have ill feelings towards each other. Casey is causing so many problems. I personally will not complain about Tim or Lenny's efforts, they are both efforts for Caylee. I personally think that if a stranger were to stumble upon the childs bones in the woods, they too are going to share some kind of spotlight JUST BECAUSE this case is so widely known now.
I can admit to being a little sad at Tims statement to David. But, can try to understand where he is coming from. He has done this a long time, and I think that the dignity of the search was hampered a long time ago, so if there is anyone here to blame it is CASEY. I am sure that Tim is not used to having this much media attention following him and knowing that nothing he does or his team does is secured because of the media.
Tim will never loose my respect, and neither will Lenny, because as long as someone is trying to find Caylee, I could care less what show they are on each night, as long as when the sun is high in the sky the child is being looked for.

One man sounds like he's practical, methodical and analytical in his approach. The other is impulsive and driven by his intuition and sense of justice. Two different peas. Sharing the same pod. It sounds like TM felt that all "reasonable" locations had been searched and LP really wanted to check out something that he felt strongly about. Neither is right or wrong. Either approach could lead to Caylee.

I just watched one of the videos w/ TES saying only around 50 people showed up today...wth!!!! If you needed volunteers, why would you send out a newscast that you were wrapping up early and that she would never be found?!!! Everyone thought I was a fool or insane to follow this case with such passion (this was said back in august), it is now Nov. and I believe they were correct! I wish I never boarded the "crazy train", can someone please tell me how to get off?

Casey wins if some of you start hating or playing sides. Do you all see why Law enforcement have a problems with the media attention? It just makes rationality go out the window. If LP pisses Cindy off and that hostility gets to TM then Cindy is winning against the most sensitive link. Local Law Enforcement have let things get out of control. If they have no problem with LP and TM searching then why allow Cindy to intimidate and create the circus. She is the one violating others rights. But, I guess if LP and TM deal with her then they have played her game and not fulfilled their true purpose.

Wow is right. But then it really doesn't surprise me. LP should step down off the pedestal his fan club supplied him. I can't really blame Nancy. She was doing what her viewers wanted and that was more Leonard.

As far as the cross, KC has been very bold and arrogant in pushing her luck and flaunting things. She wore all the items she stole( wrote bad checks for) with confidence. It's like she feels above the law and thinks everyone is stupid. An obvious cross like that is a bit of an overboard sign....but we are dealing with the most pathological, sly predatory woman. JMO

Thats an excellent point - Does anyone happen to know where Nicole's body was found in relation to the area they were diving in today?

From what I read yesterday Tim is leaving because a family in North Carolina is begging them to back and help them find their loved one. He has come to Florida multiple times, the family there wants nothing from him, he has looked everywhere LE has said is likely to result in a find, volunteer turn out is not anywhere near what they expected it to be and will only diminish on continuing weekdays. So stay in Florida where his presence is not even bringing comfort to the family? Or go to North Carolina where a family is begging him to come, where he may have better odds of success, and where even their presence will bring peace of mind and comfort to the family?

Keep in mind why he does what he does and why most of his volunteers do what they do. Where would you want to be? In the middle of the LP/Anthony/internet bloggers/live feed/media frenzy or doing what the core mission of your group was set up to do.

He is in a no win situation. He leaves he is wrong. He stays he is wrong. I may not agree with how he communicates his plans or reasoning to the public (source of funds) but I don't question his motivation. Not sure I can say that for any of the other visible members of this circus.

Nicole's body was found in the woods behind the Post Office off of Econ Trail.... I would say it's a good mile or more from the scene they were searching today. From what I know about the area anyhow. The YMCA is off of Dean I believe...

Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't Casey's defense team bring in LP in the first place. I have often thought that one of the reasons that LP is so involved in this is because he is mad because I think he really thought maybe Caylee was still alive in the beginning. And I feel he thinks that they made a fool of him. By saying he could talk to KC and then saying he wasn't. Maybe LP is just trying to make up for that.

What I do know is that this whole thing has gotten so ugly and so out of hand.
