I read those comments the other day. But if there is such a person, LE either does not know about him or he is not a focus, from the way they talk about no POI and asking for help, etc.

Yes.

I truly do think that Holly knew the person that took her.

Remember there was the report of the brother hearing Holly and her ex-boyfriend arguing as they were walking towards the woods? There's been so many versions but could this really be the right version? Could it have been revised so as to not tip off the perp?
 
Wonder if any searches are still being made around where lunchbox was found. Or between there and the house. Just thinking, lunchbox 8 miles away, Most likely killed before that 8 mile mark and perp is throwing out evidence as he drives along (after dispoing of body), Later ofcourse cleans out car, ( why LE asks for any reports of people doing this), has to clean car because of blood evidence, which was established at the scene, as yet to be determined cause blood evidence is still under analysis. She may likely be between house and lunchbox, that is ofcourse a very large area depending on what twists and turns were made.

If such an ex exists, and we do not know that he does, he would have to know that he would be a focus immediately, from what the post on the abc article indicates. It does not sound like a big secret that LE would have to try to keep back.

If LE thought Holly was alive, yes I do believe they would keep that info back. IMO

interesting as well that the media asked about names being thrown around town/asked about the rumors of names in town today at the presser

amazing how none of these names have leaked out to the public ya know?

I followed another case a few years ago and all sorts of people claiming to be "in the know" posted a ton of crap on various forums and pages. Its always my best friend's wife works with this lady who said her neighbor told her... etc. Or I know this guy who is an EMT/cop/works in the hospital, etc. Its almost always total bull manure

In the brother's defense (in no way arguing your opinion) there really isn't any solid info to what happened that morning. I'm not sure what the lay out of the house is like (to factor in how long it would take to get from the window, out the house, and to the driveway), but maybe from the window he was looking out of (maybe upstairs)...he sees her talking/being led towards the woods...makes it outside doesn't see her anywhere, notices the blood and calls the police. I think its possible that he did react, but didn't make it outside fast enough.

Not saying this is what happened, just giving the guy the benefit of the doubt...

That's not necessarily true. LE never tells the public what it knows.... only what they WANT us to know (and what they want the perp to know)

I think if they thought it was this ex bf and they couldnt find him- his face would be PLASTERED on tv 24 hrs a day 7 days a week .. JM humble opinion! lol
they would not hold back they would let the world know who it was they were looking for . dont ya think?
