Your kid could be taught by an RSO forever as Tennessee school systems only run criminal checks within the state. So yes, they check but in a very limited way.

Just a curious thought. Due to the TIPs and/or sightings, does it appear that Mr. Cummins and Ms. Thomas are making a trek toward Utah? Is there not polygamy groups on this visual path once they reach a location near or around Salt Lake?

Had been suggested on the NG podcast as a possibility given the statement attributed to the "friend" they were heading west according to the lawyer. but that Vegas could be ultimate dest. They did not appear to pack any significant cold weather clothing. Temps in Vegas are now low 70's, Salt Lake City 40's.
They would need new clothes by this point.

More troubling is the suggestion in the podcast from the friend that ET told her prior there was someone to hide them but that those plans fell through.

I think that TC's actions won't really be affected by JC divorce action. He had researched marriage to a minor prior to the abduction and at that point divorce wasn't even on the landscape. Legality seems to have a very loose interpretation for TC.

I wonder about this friend being told they had someone to help them hide. I think it's possible that's what TC said to ET. Possibly to ease her fears about where they would go. It may not have been true in the first place. I think TC was full of lies.

How dare you use facts to bust my agenda-driven arguments wide open, Mom24. NOT COOL. But seriously, I absolutely hear what you're saying and agree to a point. TC was not necessarily unqualified from top to bottom as there may have been some wiggle-room regarding certifications. However, and I hate to keep being so pedantic on this issue, but the word "must" indicates to me that anyone without RN Certification need not apply. All the school system had to was indicate that RN Certification was preferred but not mandatory and I wouldn't be as adamant on the issue.

But again, your points are good ones, especially the "smooshy" part. Lotsa smooshy biz involved with this school system and TC, IMO.

Generally, if there is wiggle room, the qualifications will say "or equivalent".

TC was suspended without pay on February 6 so he was not collecting a paycheck when he left on March 13. He was terminated on March 14.

IMO it is super dangerous to post fake news for any reason. People don't read carefully and end up spreading false rumors when you post things like this (I know you didn't post it Mom24). Add to that the language makes it difficult to understand for no reason at all and the fact that it's not explicitly stated that "this is not true, this did not happen" there is just no reason at all to post ridiculous untrue scenarios. We can think outside the box without risking spreading false rumors.

Not to mention the vocabulary used in the post is giving me SAT prep flashbacks
