I kinda like the thought process behind this. More ideas. These are good.

I'd like to ask you something that may or may not have already been asked. It was reported that TC came into ET's place of work and she was so bothered by it that she decided to hide. Any truth to that ? And if so, why would she hide ?

That's interesting. I didn't know that to be a problem/related to autism.

Every child is different. Her pediatrician suggested it, though, so I'm guessing the light sensitivity is a sensory issue others have experienced, too. My daughter has had a lot of therapy and we don't see many symptoms anymore, but she still doesn't like bright, direct sunlight.

Small-time musicians in little restaurants and clubs are often paid in cash. We also put out the tip jar.

Musicians/bands sometimes will hire people to set up equipment/stages and that sort of thing - I would imagine they get paid in cash. If he has any handyman/yard work type skills, in many places people will hire day labor outside of a Home Depot or the like. Risky, but if he changed his appearance....

Also - if his marriage had been rocky for awhile and he'd been considering divorce, he could have been stashing money aside for months or longer - there's no saying how much cash he actually has.

Perhaps she had a friend who worked there, and she called the friend and asked them to leave it outside - if it's against policy the friend might not be admitting that they did it.

I have wondered why they chose Shoney's for a pick up. Why not a gas station or convenience store where they would be less conspicuous? Whatcha wanna bet the friend who drove her to Shoney's worked at Shoney's?

I saw a similar car, to the one involved in this case, where all the windows were tinted dark.
I could not see who was driving or into the side windows of the car at all. When I got ahead of the car from the other lane, I could see a hand on the steering wheel through the windshield.
My belief was that dark windows were against the law.
If they had been inside that car, I would not be able to see them.

It depends on the state. For example, here in FL a lot of people get their vehicle windows tinted dark although neither my husband's nor mine cars have tinted windows - we just do not have a need to hide anything. IMO dark tinted vehicle windows should be illegal across all the states.

Once upon a time in my home state of CT tinted windows were illegal - and cars that did have tinted windows were usually referred to as belonging to "heroin sellers."

Because Shoney's didn't have a camera. I'm going to bet TC has a friend who works there.

Yes it's truth. I have the kids name that she begged him to tell TC she wasn't there. He is a minor so I cannot share that. She seemed to become scared of him at some point

3) People in his church or through his school that may have a second home, third home, vacation home, summer home, winter home. Many people who maintain more than one residence will leave the utilities on and working during their absence. These homes maybe as many as 5 or 6 States away from where they currently live. They may be highly visible in a residential neighborhood, or they may be secluded, gated, and even fenced from view. A gate with a lock on it leading up the driveway can easily be cut. TC may know people who have these second homes, and could actually be staying in one of them. The more secluded and hidden the home is, the more it needs to be check out by LE.................if they can figure out who's homes they should check on. Very Likely.

This idea has been in my thoughts as well. I would also take into consideration any friends of Elizabeth's whose parents own a second home. As an example, we have a second home in the mountains of a different state. We leave the electricity on year round. Our water there is spring fed and while we do unplug the pump and drain the water in the pipes for the winter, anyone with any "know how" could easily get the water running. The house sits back off a country road and cannot be seen from that road. If one didn't know a house was there, someone would likely think the dirt and gravel driveway within the trees was there to reach the fields. The house has anything one would need but a small town is only about 5 miles away if something else was wanted. It would be easy for someone to hide there for awhile. If TC knew of someone who had such a place, I think there's a good chance that he's hiding there.

I know. I asked a server in the restaurant if she heard about the two girls on the bridge in Indiana (my parents, who were sitting there had not heard). She replied, "no".
She was working and busy so no further conversation took place.
Many people do not pay much attention to crime and life goes on.

We live in central Alabama and my husband had totally missed the Amber Alerts on the electronic message boards on the interstate.

Excellent !!

How long ago was it that this happened ??

Another thing I'm confused about...if ET tells her sister to come looking for her if she's not back by 6:00, why did she bring along a bag of clothes, bathing suit, hair products, etc.? Can't help but wonder if she maybe confided in the sister, and the sister grew concerned about the whole thing and decided herself to ring the alarm.

Decatur is an hour away. It wouldn't be worth it at that point to come back for the bag. Both phones were on Decatur towers at 3:06pm. LE hasn't given us anymore infor except that those phones aren't likely in their possession anymore

They might come back an hour's drive if there was something in the bag that she was particularly attached to and insisted that she HAD to have.Or if there was money or something valuable that they intended to sell/pawn (jewelry?)

Just want to say it might be a good idea to canvas your local areas and ask if you can put up a flyer. Realize not everyone watches the news or listens to radio, but most people have FB accounts so share the flyer on your FB page and ask your friends to do the same. Twitter the same. Social media is often very helpful.

Yes, this! This is what I was trying to understand!
I had no idea it was such a short drive to Alabama though.

It looks as if it is kind of nice there; ditch the phones and look around?
IIRC, the Goosecreek exit is at about mile marker 61 from the TN/AL line and Columbia exit is around mile marker 30. Numerous travels from Birmingham to Franklin, I always knew that my exit was about 60 miles from the TN line and Columbia exit was about halfway there. Decatur is around 30 miles or less from the AL/TN line.

I hate to say it but I have been following here and I am sure I would not recognize TC if he was standing next to me. The same with this young lady.
I don't think that it is circulating out in the public enough.
I also do not have a lot of faith in TBI after some cases.

The case of Brittany Mae Smith in 2010 is the vibe I feel towards TC. There is a thread here for her somewhere.

TC may be a tad bit more organized than that perp but no less dangerous.

Was the visit to her work place after TC was suspended from his job?
Did Elizabeth continue to attend school in February and March?
My understanding is March 13th was a scheduled day of from school.

Most states allow them to be tinted to a certain degree, and you can get a medical exception if you need to go darker. It used to be cops would pull over anyone they saw with tinted windows....now I think they're more likely to ignore it if it's an SUV or minivan.

She did bring a bathing suit.
Maybe she thought it was a day trip?
Jacuzzi? Heated pool? Indoor water park maybe?
