She is a dependant minor and this is their part of their story.

They are portraying out of necessity the MT they know and show she still has one foot in childhood.

I hate they have to feel defensive but even on this loving forum there are haughty declarations of someone needs to look out for MT.

It’s so judgmental- they are looking out for her the best they can with the deck of cards they have been dealt.

I notice that her father and sister describe her vastly differently than Tad and ilk do.

That is interesting to me.

I won’t condescend to feel sorry for her. I certainly feel compassion for her life trials but we all have as Bob Dylan says our own crosses to bear.

All IMO

Haughty declarations. Okay then.

Agree to disagree.

Unfortunately, I agree with you. I don't think he'll plead guilty, at least not today.

I'd be surprised if he pleads guilty at all. Pleasantly surprised, but surprised.

In a new motion to deny bail, U.S. attorney Jack Smith claims

"Defendant admitted to law enforcement, as well as other witnesses, that he engaged in multiple sex acts with the victim in numerous

locations over the thirty-eight day period

It doesn't appear that reporters are using any hashtags yet for #tadcummins and they have to be followed individually?

Well for one thing, what he has admitted to, may or may not be admissible in court. Was he read his Miranda rights before he made the statements? If not, it would not be admissible. I can think of all kinds of possible defences. Would they be successful? Probably not, but there is a chance.

I mean no disrespect, but anyone can plead not guilty hoping to get off, regardless of witnesses, smoking gun or signed confession.

My God. We knew this in theory but it's a whole other level of horror to read those words as they were relayed in court today. "Multiple sex acts". I think I'm going to cry all over again.

It usually doesn't make me cry, however I do feel like I need a shower every time I read about or see a photo of him.
