I've been following this case since he went missing and haven't posted yet but wanted to add my 2 cents. This case has been haunting me as losing a child is one of the most horrific experiences a parent can face. I do not believe it is foul play IMO. I am very familiar with how fast little ones can slip away. I strongly feel that he either fell in a sinkhole very shortly after the grandmother lost sight of him, explaining why she couldn't find him when she looked his way if it wasn't a long period of time, or wandered off when she didn't see him for maybe a longer period of time and then sought refuge in a cave like dwelling or hole.

I feel that searchers may have already gone by him but he was hidden and possibly too weak, tired, scared, unsure, etc. to cry out. I think given his age and the rough terrain, I don't think he is very far from where he was last seen (less than 2 miles). To me, this scenario would make the most sense and usually that simplest explanation is the one that pans out, I find.

I am not too familiar with the rules of this forum as I haven't posted much in the past, so if this comment is not allowed, please let me know. The one thing that is nagging me is about the mention of various people's visions on the Facebook pages. I'm not sure if I can/need to post links to the pages, so if I do please advise but there have been several suggestions to check nearby caves or holes by a large rock or boulder near a hanging tree in a ravine by a creek. I don't know if I fully subscribe to visions, but I found it eerie that a similar vision has been mentioned by more than 1 person. They also mention that he is deep within the hole or cave and they see blue, which could be because he's cold IMO. Also they say he is with or was with a dog, like a German Shepherd. That part gives me chills as I first think of a coyote or wolf. Not sure if they are in this area. Also, I remember reading that the infrared scanning hit on a target a while ago, maybe Friday ?, but it wasn't Noah and was a small dog. Anyway, just wanted to throw this out there as I didn't see it discussed here (or maybe I missed it). Due to religious beliefs, the family doesn't seem interested in following up with these visions as they stated on Facebook. I hope I didn't break any rules, and sorry in advance if I did. Prayers for little Noah.

Another thing I wondered in regards to scent with the dogs is, toddlers are carried, dressed, bathed, fed by others non stop. Nothing, not even their own selves would only have "their" scent on it.

Maybe someone knows if this could play a factor? I have just always been curious.

Sure hope they find this little one, either way, even if it's to just give closure.

A couple of people on twitter are currently posting that they've called off the search until dawn. They have sent people home.

Some more satellite pics showing opposite directions, roads, other houses nearby, creeks, clearings, etc. Also rought draft of my bullseye map, please don't laugh, apparently I can't draw a circle to save my life, but you get the idea. Need one that is accurate in proportion, distance, etc, doing the best I can on this device with minimal imaging tools available.

Why do these little tykes not cry when they realize there is no one around them? It is amazing to me that when a child is immediately missed, we never hear a report of them being found from crying.

^.......this. Excellent question.

Nicely done and no one cares about how perfect your circles are when you are working so tirelessly to help find sweet little Noah. Thank you...

The density of the woods is over whelming. I can see how difficult it would be to search for a small child in this terrain.

I'd like to know that too. I combed through the thread but havent seen this info....where is the point of lost contact exactly? Maybe the locals know if GM was able to remember a certain tree or something she was at...people tend to know their property well. JMO.

Has this been answered yet ?

Can't sleep... Awake and thinking of and praying for Noah, his family, and LE/searchers.

Search for Noah continues into fourth night
9:57 p.m. CST January 17, 2016

"PINSON—For the fourth night in a row hundreds of people bundled up with gloves, boots and reflective vests searched for Noah Chamberlin, and for the fourth night in a row nothing was found.

After a morning of specialized law enforcement searches, volunteers began aiding emergency responders again at about 6 p.m. Sunday and planned to search through the night in one-hour increments due to the sinking temperatures. The search had not found anything at press time Sunday. A request for additional volunteers may be made sometime Monday after a law enforcement search in the early morning."

Article on local news network site just now, mentions footprints being picked up:

Volunteers not giving up hope in search for 2-year-old
Updated:Jan 17, 2016 8:09 PM MST

""The terrain is very treacherous,” said volunteer Pete Helton.

For the last three days, volunteers have searched that terrain.

"They picked up some foot prints, they had some guys who picked up foot prints,” Helton said.

Local law enforcement and TBI agents were on the ground Sunday with search dogs, but in a last-ditch effort, volunteers were asked to come back and help through the night."

"Turner said the search and rescue operation would continue throughout the day Monday. He said he couldn’t say if there would be a specific time when the operation would cease.

“We’re making plans for all day [Monday], and planning what we’re going to do [Monday] evening,” Turner said. “I hope we don’t have to use them. I hope we find him soon.”"
