I imagine that the undergrowth would make grid searching difficult, but not too much more so than in here PA. If SM was purposely hidden (buried) in the woods, by now most if not all traces would have been obliterated by weather and new undergrowth. The other options are that she never came back to the house (there should have been a ton of scent trails, not just one going to the road) or she was abducted. Changing time lines, changing stories, behavior of involved parties and the media circus have mired down this case and taken the focus off SM.

It's possible to solve a theory that LE may be going on.

1. First, ask yourself, Why would a seasoned veteran of LE ask "What Happen At The Horse Pond the day Summer Wells Vanished?"
2. Chris McDonough then (Brilliantly) creates a video of H and his family and friends and Candus Wells and her family
3. IMO Don Wells is in the dark. That is why it appears that he is lying, also why he wants his sister to stop talking about the past, 5 yrs old and 15 years old "playing house." As Chris McDonough said, SA past behavior may be a part of present behavior. In many respects the past behavior may have put his daughter in the hands of people far worse than he was at 15 yrs because they are criminals who are not playing house, IF, Summer Moon was taken.
4. When you go back and listen to H he gives every clue

H said he wanted to go fishing and swimming, he thought that is what they were going to do that "morning" / afternoon. Then Candus changed it to swimming since they had to pic up mamma Candi from the hospital. EXACTLY WHEN DID mamma Candi enter the hospital? When did they get back from Gatlinberg?

It may look macabre, a scary story of what might have happened at the horse pond that day. Not words, but objects. LOOK AT THE DETAILS. Keep looking until it gets you back to H with is back turned. Don't get distracted by the flowers. The flowers have been a distraction to the public since day one.

2. Especially watch H. H facial expression before he stands up. He looks angry. Then he put on a mask for the camera and throws up a gang sign

In my opinion, this is where the Summer Wells case begins and ends. IMO this is where she ran into her current state of being, where that may be, we don't know.

H says, "they dressed her" because they were going to Warrior's Park, the water park. At this juncture, Summer Wells sound like she is being handled. Summer Wells is month away from her first year of school, but she doesn't dress herself? Odd. Summer is changed into a fall outfit, jacket and pants. That line, changing her for the water park, makes one think someone is playing the public for stupid fools. Don't you change to a swim suit or different shorts and t-shirt for a water park?

IMO mamma Candi is also in the dark. What is not known is what was the real time mamma Candi was picked up. Chris McDonough says the prescription was filled up at 1:30 pm. For all we know, Summer Wells was in the back seat and already finished with the "swim" at the horse pond by the time the call came from mamma C. Candi may have been trying to figure everything out herself, as the public still is. Who would be better to talk to the LE on June 15, than mamma Candi, like Don, she has no details.

Summer Wells may have taken the ride home just as she looked in the picture. H says that shortly after leaving the Wells family, he got the call. 3 pm to 7pm are not a short time. 4hrs?

H also says, he didn't remember getting out of the truck. What condition could he have been in?
Also, all of a sudden, H can't wait to end the day with the Wells and get with his girlfriend. It seems kind of odd that H's girlfriend picked up moments after he is dropped of at his mom Allie's home. There is so much more to the story than has been reveled by LE. The technology, phones, hold the answers. The phones and video are the bread and the crumbs of this case.

The "horse pond" is in Kingsport (eta in Sullivan county) at Warrior Path State Park. It the "pond" is part of the Holston River. It is a 950 acre park. The activities it is best known for are "premier boating and fishing activity, hiking trails, an internationally-renowned mountain bike trail system (which is a designated National Recreational Trail), an award-winning nature education program and a nationally recognized golf course". The fact is the milk in the video and the milk sitting on the ground. It does not fit into the timeline or logic of the day IMO.

It is known that Summer Wells was at the horse pond, it is not known, for sure, that she was ever went back home after she left it June 15th in the morning wearing a tank, shorts with a bathing suit underneath. There are only pictures of her off of the property that day. A picture paints a thousand words. The horse pond paints a thousand questions for me. I would have to get a hold of maps and history of the county to determine if a tunnel or bunker exists on the horse pond property. In the days after slavery, I could imagine poor people where creative with ideas for ways to live in private.

Later when people where considering shelter during a possible atomic bomb strike, hurricane, or tornado they built storm cellars. Of course, a small space to protect the family. If you can not see the milk then you will not see the bigger picture. As I said, the details are there and you have to look around the flowers. Not at the flowers, but around the flowers. Whomever took the video was documenting something. Everything there is circumstantial and proves only that odd items were there at the pond that day. If it quacks, looks like a duck, walks like a duck, then all of those odd items mean something, it's a duck and the scene at the pond gets disturbing. The video moves fast on purpose. Slow it down as slow then stop it and look. You have to have a good computer or phone camera.

There are caves in Tennessee. Bristol Caverns and Appalachian Caverns are two commercial spots nearby. At my old house (near Bristol), we had a small cave in the wooded area next to the backyard. I know of several other small ones like that in the area.

I don't necessarily think Summer was hidden in a cave, but it could be a possibility.

I have been to Warrior's Path State Park often when my own children were growing up. We spent most of our time near picnic shelters and playgrounds, and it is not a dangerous area filled with drugs and prostitutes. It is a a family hangout that often gets a bit crowded in the summer. I doubt anything happened there without someone seeing something. But who knows?

I can tell you though that I wish we had the same type of search for Summer that I am seeing for Brian Laundrie. I hope things are happening behind the scenes that we aren't seeing. It is discouraging.

I was thinking he meant moving boxes from the front of the truck, ie., the cab of the truck to the bed of the truck and also had to move boxes from the back seat to the bed of the truck. JMO

I mean, they are near a mountainous area, of course there are caves.

There are famous caves in Hawkins County, but I think some of them are hard to access. There are videos of people just exploring things in the area that give an idea of what is there. I think they are not near SW's house though.

But, SW's house is close to Kentucky, North Carolina, and Virginia. They all have plenty of interesting things not too far from Kingsport or Rogersville.

If someone is using a vehicle of any kind to move SW from, say somewhere around her house, there are so many places they could get to in just an hour, it is crazy. They even have two interstates to choose from although they would have to be confident that the cops would not be immediately looking for their vehicle. It is not too hard to imagine that they were (if this scenario happened). Plenty of people who knew the cops were after them have hopped on the interstate because you can drive 70 mph without stopping (theoretically).

There are infinity places SW could be. But, there has to be some sort of reason to look some of these places as they get farther and farther from her house.

I am not saying that it is wrong she is in a cave, but which cave? I don't know if there is any cave she could have walked to from her house (she is so small, it could be a very small cave), so once you introduce a vehicle into the mix, that opens up a ton of places.

Idk if there have been any searches in Sullivan County (where Kingsport and the swimming hole are). LE seems to not be paying that much attention to that area, so this makes me think they have some sort of reason to believe SW was at her house (the general area of it, not literally the house necessarily) when she went missing.

They might have looked in caves, we don't know. But, the thing about caves, they stay around the same temperature all of the time. So, if you're hiding someone because some evidence could lead back to you, caves maybe aren't the best choice.


ETA: i think introducing moonshine into this is unnecessary. It is not difficult to just go to a liquor store and buy alcohol. Moonshine was a thing because it used to not be so easy to do that.
