Couldn't she have put the outfit on over her swimsuit? My kids did it all the time - swam, towel- or air-dried a bit, then put regular clothes on over their suits; no changing room required!
Having damp hair & swimsuit in a car with a window down or A/C on could've made her cold, and, IMO, she could've just slipped the jacket & pants on wherever she was.
I didn't say a changing room was required, what I said was we don't know exactly how this happened. This is an odd part of the timeline of the day.
CB says she put SW in the swimsuit immediately upon getting up. If SW was cold natured (idk if she was, i am leaning towards she was not) she would have been cold. It wasn't hot at 7 a.m. that morning. I would not have wanted to put on a swimsuit to wear all morning until it warmed up later. Just for example. (I live in Tennessee.)
However, H says that when SW arrived at his house, she was wearing a purple short set (he describes it in his interview with CM). He says CB took SW to the bathroom and changed her into the bathing suit. (I am aware the bathing suit, even though it had a skirt, could have been under the shorts set.) But, what happened to these clothes? Idk what happened to them. This is not what SW is said to have been wearing later (pink top, gray shorts... Could it be the same outfit described different ways? Idk)
CB said she changed SW into the pants, sweater, and jacket after swimming. So, i guess to me that indicates changing clothes not just putting one outfit on over another outfit. However, I don't know what it means to CB. It does, however, indicate that CB says she was involved in the changing. SW didn't just pull on some clothes. CB says the clothes were still in the bag in CH's truck. By this time, it is 78-80 degrees. But, there is a breeze.
In the video, the window by CB was only partly down. Idk about the passenger side window. The window we can see in the back is all the way up. CB specifically said the AC wasn't turned on, and since most people don't use the AC with a window down, it probably wasn't.
However, this is after they drove around Kingsport some more, went to Walgreens and the grocery store and maybe one other place. They then drive home.
SW's hair is dry in the video to the point that it didn't look like it had been wet. Also, she is leaning over on some milk jugs which are presumably at least cool if not cold.
Her jacket is zipped all the way up. At this point when they are pretty close to home, a good while has gone by since swimming. SW has sat in the car for hours and it is at the high of 80 degrees. No air conditioning was being used. Why would she be so cold?
