BBM. That's something I've been wondering, too, Josie. I don't think she spends time with anybody who would be honest with her, and I doubt she would listen anyway.

OTOH, she seems to be a mess recently. She looked seriously stoned all week. I wonder if she's figured it out on her own how badly things are going, although that really doesn't fit her personality IMO.

I couldn't sleep last night and all these random questions were popping up.

They probably haven't told her but I agree she has looked more Of a mess than usual lately,I think the penny may just have dropped for her that this isn't going to end the way she thinks and that she's probably going to be put to death.

Can't believe they will actually add another 500 cals to her daily 2600 who needs 3100cals?! The RDA for a woman is 2000 she isn't some sort of body builder or something like that. Give her an energy drink or something and be done with it.

If all attention isn't on her she has to cause a scene. She reminds me of a spoiled child having a tantrum because she hasnt gotten her own way.

And as for Dr fauxgs statement wth??? Just shows even more how unprofessional he is imo

BBM. I certainly agree. I think this fits right in with all we know about her. Plus I think a certain amount of it is learned behavior. Her mom & aunt seem to act out more when things are going badly for Jodi. Very adolescent, even juvenile. And then there's that whole thing about the ribbons -- doesn't want TA's family to wear ribbons, but they want to wear ribbons themselves (apparently in support of DV victims). I'm stilling laughing over TruthDetector's post yesterday, wondering if JA's mom tied her ribbon around the handle of her wooden spoon.

Exactly. She is faking her migraines and whatever else she claims to be suffering from. If she is really sick then have a doctor examine her and give her medicine. I don't care if they want to give her snacks all day. Just consider the timing of her migraine..right before the long weekend. She lies all the time.

I tend to think a doctor has seen her since she has recently been popping pills during trial and Wilmott is running around screeching that she wants her to take her medicine.

I know this won't be popular but that isn't my goal. I tend to also think that between JM and the jury questions she received while on the stand it became rather obvious to Ms. Arias that her well practised art of lying is not working. If you check the daily tapes of this trial you can see the degradation of her appearance since her time on the stand. I don't know that I believe she has migraines but I do believe that reality is slipping under her fog and she is starting to realize that her law of attraction bs isn't working at all, other than she may have realized that all the lying has major consequences which she never realized because she has always gotten away with her rotteness.

Add in her open gestures to Samuels while he was on the stand, it seems very obvious to me she figured out he wasn't helping her pile of lies. I can see how this hitting her would stress her out to the point we are now seeing. She is not stupid and no matter how much of a liar she is, it has to be getting through to her that all the lies are not holding up. With LaViolette, she is listening to someone describing her to a T - she's freaking out that the jury may be thinking the same thing. By the time JM gets done with LaViolette, she may well be being wheeled in and out on a stretcher. She is not dumb and she is very protective of herself - reality has to be particulary frightening for such a broken person. JMO

Plus, no strawberry frappawhatevers and no warpaint ever again has got to be alarming for her. Not that I have an ounce of sympathy for her.

JA may feel that seeing her thin and appearing frail will cause at least one jury member to believe there is no way she could drag travis, when the truth is at the time of the murder she was quite capable.
She did take off the bedding so she could have rolled him onto a sheet and used the sheet to help drag him down the hall

Whataburger generously butters and toasts their buns, IMO much better than Sonic!!

It's hard for me to wrap my head around any of this. I can't imagine killing another person, especially the way JA did it. I can't imagine being incarcerated either, knowing I will not be able to come and go, eat, work, and have free will.
I think JA is looking rather ghastly. I think the chickens are coming home to roost and her twisted noggin is finally let it sink in. She's very popular at Estrella, kind of a star, in the Star...This trial is the Jodi Show. And it's coming to an end and not a good one. She is starting to realize that and it shows.
The fun and games are over. Her cocky attitude with JM is gone. Her color is bad, she's coming a bit undone. Good. A dose of reality is way overdue.

For me, I believe that Whataburger closely resembles Sonic, except they apparently don't feel the need to smush your burger, and the buttery toasted bun is incredible. Also, putting A-1 on a burger is heinous. So they use the A-1 Thick and hearty sauce with sautéed onions. I also loooove their breakfast biscuits with sausage and cheese.

I moved to the Atlanta area almost 2 years ago, and the closest one I think is Panama City, FL. Every trip back home includes a stop at Whataburger on the way to my moms, from the airport!

My thought is when she was on the stand she was fine because she was in control. Now others are in control and she does not handle that well. She probably wants to dictate how they answer the questions, and probably feels no one can do it as well as she could.... This has got to be the worst part for her. Having a migraine allowed her to take back control for a day, she probably loved getting her way knowing she had a day cancelled...

Travis had pillows in his bedroom that had tassles on them. One of the jurors asked Det Flores if the tassels of those pillows were ever tested against the material found in the bathroom and Det Flores said no because they didn't think it was necessary. Could JA have tried to use a pillow to silence the gun?

She's not burning more than 1800 calories/day sitting around in court or in her cell. With that number of calories, she should be gaining a pound every 4-5 days. She a manipulative BPD.

I agree, I think that she is worried now. I think she felt in control on the stand even with JM most the time, but now, hearing what is going on and what the experts on HER side are saying she is feeling more scared and not as confident.
And JM has not even put on the rebuttal yet!

I also believe there was no rope, I think she snuck into his house offered to do what ever he wanted that day to get him to pay attention to her and under her spell so she could get him off guard and slaughter him.

This girl has been showing evil tendencies a long time. I believe if it wasn't TA she would have killed someone else at another time.

She belongs in prison, where she can not hurt anyone. I do believe she deserves the dp for how she killed TA. He suffered. She could have shot him over and over to kill him but she tortured him and I believe it was her plan to make it look like more than one person did it or that it was some sadistic killer not her.. I think her overkill was a way of protecting herself in that... " This small girl could never do all that to him " way.

Jodi's rope story is laughable. She says Travis unwound the rope to the bathroom and she was at the other end in the bedroom. Absurd! Who would do that to CUT a rope? They were not measuring the length of the rope.

I agree. She isn't stupid for sure. You can see the frustration in her as the days go by. How she is interacting with her personal attny. In her mind, she got on the stand to clear things up. No one would not believe her. Thats the thing with these kinds of personalities. They lie but they actually believe they are believed by everyone. They don't see that its impossible what they say. Because part of them believes it.

Holy cow, Pensfan, what an article!! And the videotaping in the bathroom was the least of what he did. The number of lives he ruined . . . it boggles the mind.

I wish the jury could hear something about this, if only in general terms. We do tend to believe the "experts." JM did a pretty good job of showing what a fool Samuels was on the stand, but it would be nice if he could've pointed out that there are plenty of experts who shouldn't be listened to.
