It was an evidentiary meeting. The DT had put the Hughes on their witness list and Nurmi was beside himself that the state had spoken to them. Chris Hughes, when asked if he would be happy to testify on behalf of Ms. Arias said no- she killed my friend in cold blood. Sky was watching the trial to watch for BS and had called the prosecutors office a few times.

I dont have a good feeling about any of this.

ALV is paid $300/hr to do what the DT tells her to do. She came across as a grandmotherly angel at first because she was told to. This is also Wilmott's goal as well. It is to try to make the jurors think they are sweet and likable and they are hoping that maybe just one juror will fall for it. It's an acting job and it is strategic. I just pray it doesn't work.
