Yep, that's pretty much how I remember the dating scene when I was younger ... and even now. I don't understand why the defense and their witnesses are making such a big deal about it. And I agree that ALV shouldn't be allowed to make comments that are obviously about Travis. She knows nothing at all about him. Her testimony might be interesting to some people, but it's all hypothetical. Jodi is NOT a victim in any way, shape or form.

As far as this defense testimony goes, it's become extremely tedious and tiring.
Unless JM is on camera, I'm not even watching it anymore.

I concur, I can't watch any more either, this Judge has allowed this trial to turn into a side show circus, with the DUHfense running a muck and being allowed to bring in testimony that is totally irrelevant to this case. Religion, sex and the PTSD are all IRRELEVANT to this case. It started to make me physically ill to watch Wilmotte with her childish cheerleader voice blather on and on. She has NO clue what she is doing with all her "ummms", "Ok's" and nonsense. UGH!!! The complete lack of direction of this court, the bankers hours, the waste of taxpayer money is the constant delays and short work weeks. If Arias get away with this crime it would be no surprise as the court has lost all all credibility IMO.

I'm so disappointed in JW. She has to know JA is guilty and deserves the death penalty. Yet, she continues to try to get people to believe it isn't JA's fault. Even to the point of being openly hostile toward Juan, who is defending someone who was brutally murdered at the hands of JW's client. I just do not understand how someone can be ok with themself when they are supporting an evil, evil person.

In all fairness, that IS her job.

He hasn't been trying this case in a court of opinion. But if one is going to decide that what Martinez did was inappropriate then Defense attorneys need to be held to the same standard. I don't want the Alexander family to be put through this again either but this rationale is getting really old.

Standard is for all officers of the court - goes both ways. But keep in mind that a mistrial is a huge loss for the state, not the defense.

Newbie Question!!
When they have a break like this, does the DT have any contact with the witness as in can they speak in the hall or bathroom?

Could DT say to witness something to the effect of, "You are answering this way and I really want you to answer another way?" Or just speak to each other at all?
