This is what I believed- they gave her limited info- she doesn't have the :banghead:whole picture for her "contexts"

Here's the problem:
  • On direct she said there was no evidence whatsoever of JA doing anything wrong or TA doing anything right.
  • On cross JM pointed out example after example showing that was a lie or sloppy or whatever - take your pick.
  • She blew off every one of his examples, saying she was looking at "the big picture" and one thing here or there wasn't "a pattern".
  • A couple of times she threw the DT under the bus, saying they cherry-picked what she saw and limited what she didn't.
Well then don't say you've looked at the big picture if you know you didn't have the complete story!

ALV was obviously duped by the defendant, and the defense team did not provide her with everything that she needed to conduct a thorough analysis of her client. When ALV has finished testifying, do you think that she will look more deeply into the case to find the evidence that was not presented to her?

Why did she not have that curiosity when it mattered? She never interviewed anyone except JA.

She's blaming DT for not providing all the info. Really. You're a professional. You do your job properly and if they won't let you, you quit.

And basically, all she's done is provide a character reference for the murderess.

Haha! I noticed that ever since the day I posted that Wilmott needed to move her little ink pen cup away from Jodi, that I was compulsively counting the pens in that cup to the point that I had become OCD about counting them...

Well, the ink pen cup was GONE that very next day!

Proves they are reading here, and if they catch the very few posts I make, they have multiple people reading here every day. IMHO. :moo:

Tweets were going to the courthouse about the deputy. Courthouse tweeted that he wasn't asleep, but looking down. lol.

She really didn't stand for the jury? If so, that shows her true personality. She didn't like the questions, so she doesn't like the jury and she'll show them who is in charge.

Thankfully, the Alexander Family can rest some tonight after hearing these Jurors questions and knowing that JA wont be sleeping much at all.

I wear it looked like Jodi just popped a cyonide pill.

And, what was with the pageant smile that JSS gave Jenny before leaving the bench?

Can anyone screen capture those 2 moments? I did it wrong yesterday.

Yes, ALaV confined her assessment to what was provided to her and prior to the last break, she made a whopper of a Freudian slip. She said she only considered what Arias told her and collaborative information. That is the truth, of course. The team put heads together & made decisions. She had no independent opinion. After the break, she returned to say over and over, corroborative information, commiting that to memory and reinforcing it. Of course, a better procedure would be to look at a breadth of information, whether it corroborated Arias or not. But now we have a neat visual of them collaborating.

In my heart, I feel an excitement building akin to my hometown team making it to the Superbowl. Justice has been a long time coming for Travis's family and for truth and light to shine once again in our courts after the last verdict that so upset our nation. I hear the train a coming....

It's comin' around the bend... ;)

:moo::hot:

Hi Maryann: i so agree with you. I believe most of the jurors are with the prosecution but a few of those questions suggest that a juror or two may be buying the abuse/DV angle. I do believe Juan will bring it home.
I think there's still someone wondering about the crime of passion angle too. It doesn't bother me at all. This isn't that 'other' case. In fact, I'd love to know what percentage of the case Juan feels he has presented at this point. S/he could stil be an alternate in any event and there's others who can persude him/her anyhow.

Thank you everyone for your insight and encouragement!

I'm logging off today with a smile on my face. I hope Travis' family is walking out to the parking lot with a smile on their face too. The jury is listening. What an amazing day!

:seeya:

FINALLY they get their turn in court. And it will continue from now on.:rocker:

Define data.

Data, Well, to me, that would be anything that JA writes, says, or someone else says that is positive about her. That's how I look at data, it's the big picture it paints, the pattern, yes. I see this a lot with the men in my group...OBJECTION!

A little quote to ALV on behalf of Travis and his family:
"Our prime purpose in this life is to help others. And if you can't help them, at least don't hurt them."
Dalai Lama

ALV teaches classes on how to be an expert witness.... Does not speak well for the "teacher" when she is called out on such a basic element of court performance as body language!

All that smirking, snarking, shrugging, and posturing herself against the prosecutor did not serve her well. She made this personal rather than professional, and it has risen up and bitten her in the rear-end....

BBM - Perfect! That goes with how Willmott trains lawyers to be great lawyers like she is.

JA to AL: do you want to drink my Kool-Aid?????

BaaHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
