My babies are eight today, and my twin grandson will be eight in eight days. My son swear I remember the dog's birthday and not the twins. I tell him I always remember their birthday, it's eight days after Mona and Sports.

Today is my 25 yr old sons birthday. I am tearing myself away from this trial to take him to lunch. LOL

Awwwww....just sat here for 5 minutes watching this over and over to get my chakras back in line....:floorlaugh:

I'm a dog lover, but this kitty GIF is just the cutest and made me smile - thanks for lightening the mood while we wait impatiently for court to resume!

ETA: I think the thanks went to the poster who also liked it, and now I can't remember who originally posted it, but THANK YOU to whomever it was!

What happened today? Anyone able to summarize? I haven't been able to watch even a second yet!!!

JW has spent the day trying to find a way to impeach Dr. D, including--

--essentially accusing her of copyright infringement because she borrowed a question sheet from a colleague.

--trying to make her seem young and inexperienced

--pointing out that DD is not a DV expert (DD conceded this).

--going over every sentence in her CV, trying to find...something (longest part of day)

--trying to slide in some of Dr. S's results that the DT had not shared with the prosecution.

--snarky asides (many) when DD couldn't give precise journal and other psych literature (esp. but not only DV- related citations).

JA looked and acted weird and ill all day. JM was patient and silent all day but looked steamed here and there. The jury is said to be paying close attention and taking notes.

Hope that helps. :)

Good advice! I googled the Lenore Walker book & found out JW was totally FOS & DEAD WRONG about what she was yelling at DD about.

What an embarrassment! JM is going to wipe the floor with JW's shenanigans with redirect.:great:

Really??? I will have to go look for this. Thanks!

She got a headache again ?

I'm betting that she's tripping over being in the same room with JD. This expert is the real deal and Jodi Ann knows it. She may also be starting to get that the jury is not buying v.3.0 and that she likely on her way to death row.

For the record I am thoroughly disgusted by all of this! Seriously, if I were a juror I would do anything to get off of this trial because of the DT's constant delays and chamber meetings and sicknesses and Motions for Mistrial and long-winded witnesses who say nothing, and so on and so on and so on. I am truly stunned by all of this.

I, OTOH, would do everything in my power to see it to the end....8-)

Aw wow...happy birthday mr. Did....have a nice lunch with your humourous Momma :seeya:

We're live! Judge does not seem happy. Jodi not present.

Judge doesn't look happy.

I'm still having a hard time believing Jodi is above average. It's shocking to me for someone that can't keep her lies straight. Casey was sooooo much smarter.

I agree. She didn't score significantly higher than average and she certainly wasn't in the superior - genius level.

She scored highER on verbal but it always seemed to me that she was using as many BIG words as possible and incorrectly more times than not (Remember "contemporaneous" vs "simultaneous"; "de edify" vs "disedify", etc., and referencing GMT as "GREEN WITCH) and her grammar left a lot to be desired.

You'd probably think of her as a pseudo-intellectual.
:D Or maybe I just think that. lol
