OK to all of you wonderful watchers...I have an admission to make. I missed 95% of yesterday and today. I have relatives coming in tonight from California, so have had to actually do stuff. LOL!! And now with what's going on in Boston, my attention is split.

I have done a good lot of reading here, and from what I can tell I haven't really missed anything groundbreaking - besides Wilmott making herself look silly (my words based on what I have heard/read)

Is that an accurate assumption or do I really need to watch something specific?

What, if anything, has been revealed about Jodi or the crime itself?

Whew! Just got caught up here.... JW hasn't changed her approach at all...I feel badly, it's like having a hunk of toilet paper hanging on the bottom of your heel, and no one tells you...just lets you wander around the cocktail party....all sophisticated and stuff....why doesn't Nurmi give her a lil heads up that this isn't quite going as well as she might think......

But Mr. Nurmi thinks it's going juanderfully. He had a very contented grin on his face all morning, and he even tried to cheer Arias up (or wake her up - not sure which).

Demarte is the dominant player in the dynamic of she and JW.

So far JW hasn't inflicted any damage.

Thanks for that... The reason I asked was JW was making it sound like there were no differences between the 2 editions re: the criteria in the 2 editions. Trying to make it sound like the expert was relying on old data. Then in the same line of questioning tries to say that the author didn't even recommend using the 6 criteria anymore...

I'm planning to go back and re-watch that line of questioning because, IIRC, JW said that Lenore Walker has revised her approach from using the 6 criteria to using the criteria for PTSD. That the opposite of several things I've found which show that she WAS using the PTSD criteria (2nd edition) and then she added 3 more to bring us to the CURRENT criteria (3rd edition). I just think JW was trying to pretend that DD is so inexperienced that she doesn't know the relevant research and she failed miserably. I could almost understand that strategy if this were going to be the final word in the court room on the subject, but there's still re-direct to go. Does she think for one second that JM (as juanderful as he is) can't find the same information that a casual observer like myself ( :floorlaugh:) found???

Afternoon all.

Office Party?

Especially when they're not looking....

The thing that's got to make it really hard for Donovan to find work is IIRC she and a family member torched somebody's business. You might hire somebody who stole if the job didn't involve cash or going to other people's houses . . . . but who's going to hire an arsonist?

Sorry if this has been answered...I have had to do some real life things....ugh!! Does anyone know who the 2 new witnesses are and why they are being called?? TIA

IMO psychopaths do not like criticism, at all. They suffer from narcisstic injury when something hits home.....that's what got Travis killed.

Why does Wilmott takes those long breaks, she seems unprepared or over her head.

but she says SHe or MS. Arias instead..so she gets bullied....
and gets a "I Didn't ask you that" Juan parrot kinda response....:moo:

WHAT?? I knew they met in jail but had no idea she was in jail for being an arsonist. Do you know how long she was in Jail? That is a serious crime.

I think if you have time, it is definitely worth it to watch JM question this rebuttal witness, but no need to watch JW on cross, which as of now is about twice the amount of time that JM spent questioning his own expert. I think all of JM's questions on direct were about 3.5 hours. Well worth a view, imo. :rocker:

I like how she can answer the friggin questions...yes..no...

So refreshing!

I liked how she made Willmott rephrase because her question made no sense....a few times.....lol

This is what I hear when I listen to JW cross: "What journals do you read? what was the title of the article? Do you know someone someone Dutton? No! Aha. See Judge. Mistrial. (Nurmi wakes up and says did someone say mistrial?!) Did you attend the International Woman Batterers Knitting Clutch this year? No!? then you would agree you are not an expert are you? Are you?! Let's take a look at my navel. Oh! Wait a sec. I mean let's take a looks at your CV.
