While I admire the prosecutions expert... I don't share her opinion of Jodi. In an effort to fit Jodi into a DSM criteria for a personality disorder.... the blatantly obvious label of "murdering psychopath" gets lost.

Jodi wasn't traumatized in the least from slaughtering Travis. IMO she planned it, remembers it, enjoyed it, and felt he deserved it. She isn't capable of love or remorse.

That's the difference IMO between Jodi and borderline. IMO.

But don't you think she'd have to do a lot more to make a complete, thorough diagnosis? I do. I saw borderline as a starting point. And I thought she was really there to shoot down the DV and PTSD diagnoses. I don't know how much further she could go.

I think calling the cops was a bit strange, over the top, too. I would not want to put my 14 yr old into 'the system' over something relatively minor, unless I was at the end of my rope. JMO

I think it depends on what the pot laws are in your state. Arizona has "seizure laws" which allows LE to seize anything pertaining to the property where the pot is and any assets (if the amount of pot is sizable). Loosing your house because your 14 year old has pot growing on your roof is a good enough reason to get LE involved. LE usually does the "handcuff, scare the bejesus, get the kid crying" routine. LE RARELY puts them in the system, if ever. It does NOT sound like there was a lone plant on the roof.....her friends and Tupperware containerS (plural), I read somewhere that they had a mini grow farm up on that roof.

One plant, eh, read your kid the riot act, explain the legal consequences, and ground them for a while....but when you have the neighbor kids involved AND your personal property, time to call for back up. JMO

I am of the opinion that there is a juror that is leaning towards the defense. I heard the judge say she was going to ask the questions in the order they were recieved. Now, if one of our court watchers can tell us who submitted those first questions, we will know who is leaning towards the defense side. I think the first three or so, were probably written by the same person, and maybe on the same sheet of paper. At least the first two were written by the same person, because it had a follow up. Now, who might know who submitted those questions, LOL......KLC, Pasa?

I have no idea but I am 100% sure that the first question came from someone on the back row because I remember Wild About Trials tweeting that we have our first question from the back row but he didn't specify which juror.

I look at the camera issue as part of the big picture of her black and white thinking. This was one of the findings by Dr DeMarte. JA wanted to leave nothing in AZ and also to take nothing from AZ.

Because she wanted it to look like a murder, but not like SHE committed it. So, the blood in the sink is ok but not DNA on the body or elsewhere.

I have to say I really like that jurors can ask questions in AZ. Most of them seem to give a read on what they are thinking.


FL need to add this to their sunshine laws.

In the CA case, then we could have seen that, "When does the dessert lady come again?" Would not have left us as dumbfounded

I am now trying to catch up with today's cross of JW with Dr. JD (just finished the morning section) and realized that JW asked lots of open ended questions such as what(who) is such such and tell me about it. It's so annoying like her thinking Dr. JD not knowing how to answer and giving her a "hard" test. Sometimes I can't stand JW's voice too, like a middle-aged woman pretending to be a teenage, sorry for my rudeness.

I'm trying to watch part 4 on youtube, catching up, but right now it's stuck.

I'm having some trouble understanding what is going on with the MMPI-2. It seems that Dr. DeMarte doesn't use this test, yet it has been admitted, and she's being rudely cross examined on it.

While going over the different scoring levels, she showed on the graph that JA scored low on the antisocial part.

Does anyone know why she is being cross examined on this test, or even scored it, if she doesn't use it?

And how in the heck would JA score low on the antisocial part? This is not the "yes or no" kind of test Doc $ used, IIRC. TIA

she basically said she doesn't use the test dr. S did because it has no research basis (IT IS NOT A GOOD TEST) and the initial version to compare test taking results. (she did not pencil in her results :wink and it also did not require prepping Arias with books, contraband magazines, cards and whatever else:twocents:

OT: Has anyone else noticed all the negativity in the world since this trial started? Bad things happening to good people?

Maybe I am just imagining it. Is it just because every day that we watch this trial we see evil personified?

So many people on this site have gone through so much pain in their own lives. The images of the Alexander Family have pierced through many of our hearts. The pictures of Travis have been sobering. It is my hope that the wrongs will be righted, soon. Prayers to those who have lost and endured. Everywhere.
