N: If you're wrong about B, that makes it difficult?

D: ...I have no intrepretation that makes it more difficult for myself (I think that's what he said. Not making an awful lot of sense to my ears)

D: I'm not a wound specialist or ballistics expert....I'm just interpreting...when you hear a loud noise you can jerk....others will react differently. That's an intangible

He also used a story about being stung by a bee then.

Oh god he's basically saying oscar aimed now and steadied the gun after the second shot. Not good for defence. Oh my.

hope anyone here with a qualifying cable subscription is aware that ESPN3 has been streaming this entire trial in HD

Thanks for the heads up but I don't think I could cope with seeing some of those photos in HD!

As well as "from a layman's perspective"

and add:

" I didn't prepare a report, but I do have some notes on a few scraps of paper here...and a neatly typed page of door measurements..."

Nel is just letting him go on and on now. In my opinion, because he is making it obvious he doesn't really know what he is talking about. He is talking about involuntary jerking...

N: May I just ask what question you are answering at the moment?

this trial is generating internet memes like nobody's business. i can only imagine the chaos that would have ensued had twitter existed during the days of OJ.

I love the one That awkwrd moment you realise your forensics dude is a geologist. lol

Has anyone else noticed Uncle Arnie grinning through most of Rog's testimony the last few days?
He knows this is a car crash and the repair bill is probably coming straight out of his pocket.
Maybe its a grimace not a grin.

N: The question I asked you was, if you take into account the position of the head, does that have any effect on findings?

D: ...she was not standing...she had to be in the position her head would intercept with the trajectory (of the bullets)....head could be bent slightly forward, unless it deflected wildly in the skull (bullet, I think he means there).

OP yet again with head in hands when discussing shots and impacts. Like a stuck record.
Yes, this isn't going to be fun when you're responsible for the damage they are discussing but there has been loads of it now, there are no photos and I'm sorry but it is an act. Far too consistent and predictable behaviour for it to be genuine.
IMO

Shush...he's method acting...he has to stay in character!

D: I interpreted a twisting; a falling of the body until the head came in line with trajectory of the bullet...

He was doing it before that too, just strange.

I told myself, self, please don't be snarky tonight. But I can't help but laugh when witness responded to any noises on the evening of the testing.

Yes, there were some lovely frog sounds. Hmmmm....were there any frogs in OP's loo that night?

Then there's this little charm. People react differently (when shot in the head). For example, if you were stung by a bee, you might jump, or you may be calm and pull the stinger out.

Yes, I bet by the time RS was hit in the head she could have been quite calm by then and wouldn't jump now would she? Why didn't she keep her senses about her and just remain calm? Or should we just go on and say she was in a right state, if able to respond at all.

Folks 11:20 a.m. here in İstanbul :seeya:

Nel if you happen to be here on WS :loveyou:

:blushing:

Now talking about the buttock contusion with 'lateral extension'. D says that was caused by her striking the mag rack as she fell: 'If she hit it while it was in the corner, it would have gone the other way..'

He is going through the wound measurements now.

The pathologist said the hip bullet fragmented so small that pieces flew everywhere, and that the buttock bruise was from internal trauma. Dixon is still arguing the point without even seeing the body(besides the fact he's got no medical training)

D says buttock wound was at least 10cm below the hip wound.

Nel says is he still saying Prof Saayman is wrong. After some pushing:

D: I. Am. Not. Saying. He. Is. Wrong.
