Was anything said to the truck driver? So Drew was flashing his badge around huh? Interesting.
 
Jeanne Piro.......the trucker information is crucial info. No doubt that the ISP will follow up and identify truckers.

Joel Brodsky...........it couldn't have been DP - he was a desk sargent, he wouldn't be out there, and anyways the 55 is outside of BB jurisdiction.

Allan Scott............passenger put face to windshield and glared at him. The passenger was DP!

Joel Brodsky...........improbably, that's not where a desk sargent is, and what does this have to do with Stacy - she didn't disappear for another week.
 
Yes, I was wrong that Drew was driving...but I did hear him say he flashed the badge over the steering wheel the first time. I am confused now. LOL

SS......I thought I heard that DP was the driver too. :) The problem is that Jamie Colby wouldn't let him tell the story in his own time. I sure hope Mark Fuhrman catches up with Allan Scott and does an indepth interview for tomorrow night's OTR with Greta. OR, better yet, an interview with Greta - she knows the questions to ask.
 
Jamie corrected Janine because LE already have the identity of the first two truck drivers.

Janine got excited about Allan's story and said it would be crucial to prove intent.

Brodsky is spewing the same stuff. I am shocked he didn't call this man crazy tho. He just kept saying Drew was a desk Sarge and would have NO reason to be there. (Sounds like a great defense to me, Brodsky...let's see if you can sell that one to a Jury!!)

Brodsky is a idiot. He's looking dumb and dumber every time he opens his mouth. Drews a desk sargent. I bet he still has a badge. I will bet the truck stop has cameras on the exits and entrances
 
ISP now needs to find out if Drew was working those nights. Remember he has been taking off LOTS of time the past month (according to Drew)! I would be willing to bet he was off duty!
 
I missed the first report, but did they say what time the incident occured?

Also, Brodsky fails to mention that Drew might not have been working that night.

I have known policemen who have flashed their badges when off duty.
 
If they mentioned the time...I missed it.

We ALL know cops that have flashed their badges off duty! Duh! That is as common as free donuts. LOL
 
My fav is knowing they are off duty and they wear their uniform here to get free supper... LOL
 
Duh, Brodsky is not much for thinking outside the box is he? The dumb *advertiser censored** was saying 18 calls re Kathleen and Drew mean nothing, because, well, She never filed a protective order against Drew. Yes she did!!!
 
I know, you would think Brodsky would do some neccessary research before he goes on the air to defend his client.
 
Welllll, couple of thoughts.

WOULD DP pass off the package as hazardous material to keep anyone from PEEKING inside the package?

IF IF IF that was the case, then he might have been checking out Haz Mat truckers trying to find a friendly one, (this is most likely a really really dumb thought on my part).

WHAT IF IF IF the phone call from the Haz Mat trucker to the PD, made a connection to DP somehow and and and it was yet another incident, and his resignation was a phony. WHAT IF IF IF his BPD let him 'just resign' in lieu of going through an investigation?

I THINK that for a Haz Mat driver to be so offended by the little truck/badge flashing incident that it must have been QUITE OFFENSIVE. I also wonder IF IF IF the Haz Mat driver got license plate number etc that day.

I am very very clear on this part of the FOX cast -->> Haz Mat Scott said that the passenger in the truck did not get out, which must have meant that the driver did get out!!!<<--

There was in 'fact' some words I read somewhere on this forum THAT an internal investigation was NOT done, just prior to DP's official BUT EARLY
?resignation?.

Question was the truck stop where Stacy had met her past friend Risotto?? WAS it around that Oct date, I remember that that meeting was about 3 weeks prior to Stacy going missing, ANYONE ????

I agree, a smart attorney would do his research, but Brodsky is incredibly dumb. He probably volunteered to take Drew's case thinking that the publicity would be good for business, but every time he goes on TV he makes an *advertiser censored** of himself and shows everyone how dumb he is.

I didn't get the impression that the trucker was offended by Drew's behavior. I think he called 911 about it because he carries hazardous materials and DP was acting suspiciously. For all he knew DP could have been a terrorist and the badge was a phony one. I think after 9/11, truckers, especially ones that carry hazardous materials, have been trained to be wary of anyone approaching them - as they could get truck-jacked.

Allen: I'm sorry... I'm on a headset having a hard time hearing you.

Jamie: When you were at the truck stop at the 55 you found two cars in the exit preventing you from exiting - what happened?

Allen: I tried to leave (background noise) there was a black pick up -stopped and prevented my exit- another car went around- they went up after I motioned them to move so I could get out -they went up and turned around and came back. this kind of set me off with the haz mat load. They came back parked on the curb just about 20-30 feet away from me.

Jamie: Allen I'm running short on time. The driver you told me flashed a badge, the passenger got out of the car. - who do you think the passenger was -that approached you -in what you determined to be a menacing way?

Allen: Well the passenger never exited - I got hand gestures, when the driver put the badge up on the steering wheel where I could see it- the passenger leaned up against the windshield.

Jamie: Who was it Allen? Tell us who it was?

Allen: It was Drew Peterson - I'm sitting here looking at his picture on the website - with the sunglasses on.

Jamie: How certain are you that it was Drew Peterson?

Allen: After looking at this picture I'm 100% certain.

Jamie: And you called the police - I have the 911 log that you called the police that day - you called the FBI since then. Have you heard back from the authorities?

Allen: No I haven't... (cross talk)
Jamie: (cross talk) Bolingbrook ... Allen I gotta go. BB confirms the 911 call. We'll get back to it more Geraldo.

I don't find it to be a dumb thought at all!! Drew may have been looking for a specific type of truck, surveillance cameras, and possibly a trucker he could strike up a conversation with to set up a deal for later. Not entirely out of the realm of what Drew might do.

However, at the time...the driver of the truck did not know the name of the person who he later saw in the media and connected it was DP (100% sure). As far as the investigation, he was probably advised by Brodsky to resign to try to avoid the investigation. I have't heard the latest on that situation.

He obviously did not get a plate number or he would have said, I think. Too bad tho!! I am glad he was more responsible than the other two truck drivers that did NOTHING until later to report the strange situation of somone asking them to haul a private "package".

?resignation?. This is still up in the air as far as I know about the investigation into his wrong doings on the force.
