The father of one of the boys is heard on the recording calmly relaying information about what they believe they have found. Police arrived at the scene after 7 p.m.
“I think it’s a little girl, it’s in a plastic bag, somebody dropped it off,” the caller said. “I think it’s a baby girl, a little girl … I can see the legs and everything … There’s a belt around it, tape.”
What?? Who has that stuff in their car
New info on what investigators took from the car.
FBI search warrant available.
Pulled plastic bags , red tape, camo colored tape from the car . Interesting that witness at scene says red tape was seen in the tarp .........
oooooooooohh
Reporter Marcus Moore, channel 8
There was red tape in the tarp??? Can you link me? I don't remember this but if it's what was seen, I'm very suspicious about the owner of the family vehicle. JMO
Someone who goes camping? Or wants to have shelter in case of breakdown?

In case someone can't read it...
Ford Taurus VIN 5194
Description of item(s):
1) Walmart plastic bags
2) 5 vacuumings
3) Charmin Ultra Soft 4 pack
4) blue/gray tarp
5) red tape, white tape, camo tape, black electrical tape
6) citizens academy card
7) copy of SSN card, drivers license
Quoting myself, sorry:
My husband pointed out that you might also keep a tarp in your car to line the boot/trunk before putting in dirty outdoor or DIY gear. Or you could carry one if you were taking stuff to an outdoor event and wanted to keep it dry in case of rain.
It really doesn't strike me as that suspicious.
Who keeps copies of the ssn and dl in the car? It's a serious question because I find it strange, like someones' planning to flee, BUT some people may do that in case they lose their purse or wallet or something. So does anyone of you keep copies like that around?

I'm beginning to think the red truck may not be involved in this. No one SAW the truck stop there or drop the baby out . It seems it was only ' in the area' and if it was driving fast or had loud music or just the green splatter would make people go WOW look at that truck ! So it's possible it's not related. Of course I would think by now an innocent owner of that red truck, knowing it is being sought, would come forward and say here's my truck, I have nothing to do with this......possibly.

Answers in red.1. Where are Alanna's clothes and shoes that she was wearing that day?
If you zoom out of the area, you'll see Marine Creek Reservoir to the SW of the neighborhood. This area is surrounded by empty space that is still easy to get to in a car. I think the perp is from the area and knows about water nearby. I think the clothes were thrown in the Reservoir. My second choice is that they are in a dumpster nearby the place where the tarp was purchased, if it was purchased that evening.
2. If I presume that her body rolled out accidentally while navigating the street, at what point did the perp realize she was gone? Dunno.
3. If her body did actually "roll" or "fall" out of the truck, then that means that the tailgate was down. Why would the tailgate be down? Not securely closed in haste when body was placed in the back.
4. Where would the perp have been going with her body, if the intent was not to leave her there? I think the intended disposal of the body was in the park to the east of the neighborhood. I think the individual knew the area.
5. If her body did not "roll" or "fall" out of the truck, then why would the perp put her in that location specifically? Time. The person was due somewhere and needed a quick dump. Easier to do on a street.
If Alanna was abducted by a stranger (very rare) then the perp certainly was fortunate that it took so long for Alanna's disappearance to be noticed by her family.
