If she does, then that leads me to believe she knew her abductor (if that is what happened). If someone were to grab her, the hat would surely come off and I can't really imagine a person picking it up while in the midst of an abduction. In various other cases I have followed, stranger abductions almost always leave something behind, a shoe, a scarf, an earring, something.

Unless
a) The abductor lives in the area (maybe even in the apartments right near the parking garage) and parks there on a daily basis, and therefore with his 4 day head start could have went back and picked up the item(s).
b) He had a gun/knife/other weapon in which case there was no sign of a struggle/she willingly went with him out of fear.

I'm not saying I'm on board with the stranger theory, just pointing those ideas out. :)

Does anyone remember the Jamie Minor missing persons case from Austin, TX in 2011? My mind keeps going to the way that turned out. Not sure if it is solely because of the parking garage aspect or the DFW ties.

I don't remember that case, but that's pretty interesting.

See, this is why I really hope that LE has thoroughly searched the parking garage. There was another case of a young woman (Annie Le from Yale) who was found in the walls of the parking garage.

Actually, he shouldn't be camera shy. He has modeling photos - portfolio from when he lived in NYC for a couple of years. So, he should not be camera shy. I don't know how to post is modeling photos link or if this even allowed to be mentioned. If not, I will delete.

Taking photos and being video taped are 2 completely different things. I will post my selfies all day long, and I can be clever and charming via text messages all day long, but if you put me in front of a stranger to talk I will freeze up and be completely awkward and weird.. and then add a camera there to video tape me, no thank you!

It was really early Saturday morning. Buses run much more on a Saturday and start about 5 or 6.

Woops- Was thinking the wrong day. In that case. She would have still had to walk because the 346 and the 183 don't run there on the weekend to that leg of their route. RT 451 would start at 6 am at that station- meaning she could get to the airport in the morning on Saturday easily. I'm pretty sure the police probably checked on this but you never know. Sometimes the least likely doesn't get covered. As for video cameras, we really don't know if they change their cameras or if they just tape over. She also could have waited at a stop not quite at the station to avoid cameras.

Does anyone know if TE was able to get approval to use the drones today?

If I remember correctly from mutual friends I had with her that not only had she worked at Perry's but her boyfriend still worked there so they thought she was possibly trying to get into the restaurant to find him even though it was closed and all the doors were locked so they assume she then went into the air duct. And that was during a Texas summer and she was in the air duct for a month.

Snipped

McElroy did her best to put rumors to rest, insisting that Morris’ boyfriend has been nothing but cooperative in light of his girlfriend’s disappearance.

“He and his father went all the way up to Choctaw [Casino] and dropped her flyers everywhere – every truck stop, every restaurant, every convenient store – and they covered a lot of ground,” she said. “He feels like an idiot for waiting four days. It was a typical boyfriend/girlfriend fight and he just really wishes he would have contacted us. He said he has to live with that for the rest of his life.http://starlocalmedia.com/planocour...336-3890-11e4-a785-001a4bcf887a.html?mode=jqm

Okay.................so he doesn't seem to think Christina is alive, huh?

MOO

They've already said the clothing found is NOT hers. Let's not fudge the facts just to keep the story juicy. They found some old clothes in a field that didn't belong to her. Nothing more. Nothing less.

that's what I thought, thanks.

Hi everyone, nobody has been named a suspect or a person of interest so please post accordingly and responsibly. The boyfriend is considered a victim here and we are a victim friendly place.

"Victim Friendly

Websleuths is a victim friendly forum. Attacking or bashing a victim is not allowed. Discussing victim behavior, good or bad is fine, but do so in a civil and constructive way and ONLY IF IT IS RELEVANT TO THE CASE. Additionally, sleuthing family members or others that are not suspect is not allowed. Don't make random accusations or post personal information (even if it is public) like parking tickets, address, or first and last names of all their relatives and their neighbors. Also, never "bash" or attack them, or accuse them of involvement. However that does not mean that family members or others cannot come into discussion as the facts and issues of the case are discussed."

Also, please don't bring rumors to the board, they tend to grow legs.

I think in terms of the likelihood/opportunity available to each of these:

1 - BF...since her car was still in the garage, odds are that she did NOT go to FtW. He would have had to come to Plano and surprised her at the garage. I don't think this is very likely. Not impossible, but less likely. Too many way to get caught traveling from FtW to Plano and back.

2 - Friend in the Garage... this person had the most and best opportunity. If it was him, he lucked out on the cameras (that we know). He could best evaluate the garage being empty and take advantage.

3 - Complete Stranger... this person would had to have had the most luck. Not only the cameras, but a victim at the right place and time. BUT, could this person have seen her walk in w/another male and take the chance? I understand they split and each went to their cars, but this mystery person would have to have been bold enough to think he could approach/take her and not draw the attention of someone she was obviously walking with... Additionally, and this is just my personal experience from Plano - while you have car break-ins or other robbery crimes....something like a stranger abduction is out of place. To me, it just doesn't fit. Could be a first though...

I know there is no POI or suspects. I'm just thinking in terms of likelihood and I'm leaning to 2. Would I be surprised w/the other options? Nope.

Just thinking "out loud".

I just really can't see someone leaving their car behind if they was planning to leave voluntarily. Why decide to do that at 4am anyway? No real planning or anything.

I'm thinking that someone an acquaintance / friend but not necessarily a ' good friend' may have happened upon her and said ' hey im going to party at xyz, wanna go '' and she just went along for the ride. There are lots of people we recognize and know the name of and don't really KNOW anything about. If she'd been drinking her senses were dulled and her instinct may not have warned her it's a bad idea. :(

ETA I'm not necessarily talking about the fellow on the parking garage cam. I'm talking about someone she saw at the bar or around the area or last year at a friend's party, just enough to recognize them but not really someone in her inner circle at all.

I really hope so, but I don't know if they have "probable cause" to do so. I don't know if the simple fact that he is her boyfriend would be enough to get a warrant, but I hope so.

IMO... The fact that the apartment is HER home too would be reason for LE to search her apartment (and the boyfriend's)...

But...:dunno:

Hey all. I've been lurking around, but needed to add a question to the mix..

Who says the person responsible (assuming this was involuntary) is a man? IF her boyfriend was less than faithful, I wouldn't rule out a female 'heart to heart'. People tend to post their every move on facebook, so locating someone is easier than ever.
