A transient taking her in this area is downright frightening! I get up early before sunrise to take my dogs out...now I wait.

There are a lot of apts here. Just FYI, these apts are all mainly accessed from just a few gated entrances/parking garages, excluding the garage CM was last seen in. They're not the kind of apts that have exterior doors to every individual unit. The entrances to the individual units are interior hallways. The exception are the town homes lined up along Lois Lane. Their doorways are exterior, and some of them face the garage she was last seen in. They have reserved parking on that street.

And, I have seen people jogging/walking dogs outside as early as 5 am around here. Unless this person was just lucky, it seems he would have needed to get out of the shops quickly since she was in the garage at 4 am.

It seems some people think she could be stuffed in a wall bc it keeps being mentioned... I've said living here, especially this past week, it's way way way too hot for someone not to notice that smell. She can't be in a wall or on a roof just laying there. She'd have to be inside somewhere with a door. Believe me, texas summers don't mess around.

Also keep hearing people say that the friend could of seen her from his car. I don't agree w this at all. If you look at where his car was, in that parking garage I don't see how it's possible. I know the area where HER car was parked is cordoned off but where his car was is not. They were on opposite ends and I don't think dude is going to stand on something to check on her. But ya never know I suppose.

That was tough to watch.
Insincere. IMO. May not be guilty of anything...just used to manipulating situations. I know the type. Too well.

Also, I don't buy the camera shy bit. He is the subject of thousand of pictures. All over the internet. JMO.

Yeah, so distraught he can't give an interview, so was the guy that recently kidnapped and killed Jenise Wright. The cops interviewed him and didn't name him as a suspect either. I got the same feeling watching this guy as I did watching the Susan Smith interview years ago, manufactured tears, whiny voice, won't look directly at the camera.

Good Morning. I just want to say with TE Boots on the ground today I hope and pray they find some clues, evidence, and/or hopefully the whereabouts of Christina. Her family is in my thoughts, and may the searchers stay safe in an effort to help the family and LE get one step closer to solving this mysterious disappearance. Really hoping today is the day.

Sorry but I've just watched the interview & considering his girlfriend is missing, he doesn't seem that broken or distraught! Just my opinion..

McElroy did her best to put rumors to rest, insisting that Morris’ boyfriend has been nothing but cooperative in light of his girlfriend’s disappearance.

“He and his father went all the way up to Choctaw [Casino] and dropped her flyers everywhere – every truck stop, every restaurant, every convenient store – and they covered a lot of ground,” she said. “He feels like an idiot for waiting four days. It was a typical boyfriend/girlfriend fight and he just really wishes he would have contacted us. He said he has to live with that for the rest of his life.

I don't think the question has so much been whether or not he could see her car from his car as it has been whether her car would have been visible to him at any time during his / her / their journey into the garage.

If her car was within view of the area where they entered the garage, it's plausible that he wouldn't have felt compelled to 'be a gentleman' and get her to her car safely. If they weren't particularly good friends he might not've known what her car looked like. But say she started hitting the unlock button on her key fob as soon as they walked into the garage, causing it to make that unlocking noise and her lights to flash a bit. He might've thought, "Oh - she's just parked right over there, I don't see anybody around, she's got a clear shot to her vehicle, and it's obviously been locked, so I'm gonna head on to my own car."

What I said was they could see HER car from where they were filmed walking - from that entrance to the parking garage. Not that he could see her car once he departed for his own car. I went to the parking garage and unless it was pitch black, they would have been able to see her car. So that might factor in to why he didn't walk her all the way. They both could see it, everything looked cool, so he left.

I wasn't a fan of the interview either, but then I consider that they were fighting [modsnip] - maybe the real truth is that "he's just not that into her". He may feel extremely guilty about the status of their relationship and feel that he's not really in love with her but needs to pretend that he is as to avoid the "heartless" accusations. Presumably he's only 23 too. I remember guys at 23 - "true love" wasn't exactly on their radar for most of them. Could be a case of being torn between what he really feels and what he's "supposed" to feel, regardless of his involvement.

News report just now about the search today. Not much new but they're really still searching within 12 miles of the shops. Miller said missing people are usually found w in 12 miles of where they go missing.

This websleuth wants to know; the bf's alibi and has his car been searched, has he agreed to a poly?

:welcome6: Nice to have you here, Fnurse!

While I do appreciate the whole shyness of cameras and attention some people experience, I feel some of his "angst" was for show more than for actual nervousness. However, I don't know the young man and he could act that way all the time so you could be correct. Let's see how it goes with his next interview. ;)

Well to be honest, I'm sure the reporting stations are all over any kind of emotion he has. He made a mention that he " cant do this." like he does not want to be on TV but he kind of needs to let the public see him because of the situation and fingers pointed at him. He does not look like he knows how " work the camera." or anything like that.

Tomorrow is supposed to be thunderstorms so I wonder if they will still search and if the drone can still fly in that if it's approved.

The boyfriend has not been named a suspect or POI.

Its way easier to take a picture than to sit in front of a camera and talk. Many people are like that. If you listen to the way he talks, he is not exactly well-spoken with mature speech either. He sounds like he mumbles in general conversation. I have a teenage son who talks the same way, drives me crazy.
