“She had canceled a different appointment that morning because that closing couldn’t happen till the next week, but we aren’t sure if she made the other two appointments that day,” Jeff said. “We haven’t been able to see the files on her computer, so we don’t know who she was going to be with.”

Has this been cleared up?

Don't understand why the people she made the appointments with could not be contacted. If she did not show up, then for sure the people would have called her trying to get up with her. Voice mail, texts, phone calls, what?

^ There's a comment under the wrong post (Savanna's case).
Have a look. Did Jeff really say that?

Heartbreaking to hear Jeff speak in the video...his voice cracking...

I am a top producing real estate agent in NY. I can shed some light on the profession. Realtors are self-employed. They have no obligation to share their schedule with their office or be in the office any particular time unless they are working floor duty. I speak to many of my clients by text message. It is much easier and it keeps a record of the conversation to refer back to.

If I had an appt in the morning and the kids school got cancelled, I would have called my client and explained the predicament. I would have asked if they would prefer to reschedule or would they be ok with me bringing the kids. Every time, the client would say to bring the kids, they look forward to meeting them.

In NY, we mainly use electronic lock boxes. An electronic key (E-key) is required to open the lockboxes on homes. My e-key is on my cell phone. The real estate office or the local board of realtors should be able to log in to Crystal's e-key to see the last time it was used (assuming they use them in Texas).

Also we use 2 main appointment services to set up real estate showing appts. I don't know if they use them in Texas but checking in with them to see when her last appts were could lead to a clue.

I have seen mention of possible competition in real estate being a reason for her disappearance. I find it highly unlikely. In all my years in real estate, I have never seen competition become so heated that could lead to something like this.

All in my opinion.

So, The sheriffs have not questioned her ex-husband or the new boyfriend. WTF?!

The uncle flat out said (on that video) that her ex husband has threatened her and said "you're not going to leave me or this house".

Did she go back home after visiting the boyfriend?

The video has a really detailed morning timeline, including all of her texts of what was said to her uncle, her ex and the new bf, plus their texts to her . It would be great if if someone wants to transcribe it. I'm on my way out. If no one does it, I can do it tomorrow

I hate to say it, but I don't think this is going to have a good ending.

Esp. Since her ex husband has threatened her before.

Sadly, I'm beginning to think this is a domestic issue.

The Perfect Storm...in more ways than one

This is an odd thing to say (by the ex) because they were already divorced. Why would he want her not to leave?

It seems to me it was a bad idea for her to stay in the shared household with her ex after divorcing and moving on romantically. Looks like ex-husband couldn't deal with it. imo

I thought the string of texts to her ex-husband was odd. "Are you still coming" to the "dishwasher finally arrived". Then I realized, they probably don't have her phone. The text messages are what they gathered from the recipients phone. Her ex may have deleted texts in between. It could have been very innocent. Maybe there was an exchange of words he wasn't proud of and they were deleted. Then just a trivial comment about the dishwasher. Not sleuthing the ex just considering the text string.

She and her ex sure don't seem very "ex" maybe the BF is the one we need to look at....either that or she seems to be living two lives and one of them got sick of being played.

IDK understand why she was staying with the ex , I get she was redoing a th but I still don't understand the situation since she was dating etc.

I don't think she was kidnapped.jmo.

The closed facebook group has family members/friends on both sides posting.
