Police called it "murder for hire." So, no, I don't believe KL freaked out. I believe he did exactly as planned. And BD was the "master mind." So she needs to face the music.

Agree. And she will be caught soon. But Since LE didn't keep track of her. Then they shouldn't sweat the parents for her whereabouts. LE let her go. Not her parents. Jmo

LE was gathering evidence to make the case. Yes, I think they should have arrested her on CC's word, then make the case, but since they didn't, it's neither here nor there. I have no problem if they sweat BD's relatives for her whereabouts.

She clearly comes from a very religious family. It is my understanding that personal accountability is in keeping with those good Christian values. All the talk of religious pilgrimages means nothing to me if aiding and abetting your loved one is the path you've chosen. I am not a religious person, but I am an honorable one. I see no honor in enabling your child to get away with murder with no consequences. I understand denial and the desire to protect a child, but Kendra Hatcher was someone's "baby girl." BD is a grown woman. I hope her family chooses the path of honor and convinces her to turn herself in. Fleeing the country (as most of us suspect she has done) immediately after being questioned by the police is not the act of an innocent woman. As someone else mentioned, I think a reward would shake the tree enough to drop her out of hiding. I suspect there are quite a few people who know exactly where BD is. MOO.

I don't know if they still have cloistered convents in Mexico, but she could hide out in one of those for years, if not forever. U.S. ones too, but I think that here they are quite discerning about which women they take in.

If her family knows where she is, they could also be charged eventually, for harboring or aiding a fugitive. I hope they are charged, if they do know.

And they will be sweating them trust that. They bug people for less than murder to locate folks so im sure they will be as hot and heavy as they can in this situation. It will get tiresome and stressful for the people close to her but it is what it is. She created this situation. Time to pay the consequences.

They are victims as well. So LE has no right to sweat anybody since LE let her go. And just in case you are wondering. Yes I do want her caught. But I wouldn't blame the parents for not helping with the capture. Especially since she will get her just deserved Texas execution irregardless. So LE should only be mad and sweating themselves. Jmo

If her family is in any way involved in helping her avoid arrest then no, they lose the victim label. The law is the law. Aiding and abetting is a very serious punishable crime. I hope LE sweats the cahoo out of those they suspect have helped BD escape arrest, no matter who they are. The victim here is KH. Anyone who in any manner has helped the person or persons responsible for her murder avoid prosecution is no victim in my book. And if LE did not have enough evidence to hold her, by law they had no choice but to let her go.

I do appreciate the desire to have empathy for BD's family, Dexter. I am merely siding with the law and the desire for justice over emotions.

MOO.

Well stated. The very laws that prevented LE from holding BD are the same laws that protect us from being arrested on minimal evidence. We can't have it both ways, and these things happen. LE did nothing wrong here. Fleeing speaks loudly to BD's lack of character.

Dex, I understand where you're coming from on an emotional level. I have a daughter too. But we have laws so that emotion doesn't rule unfairly. Even with that, injustices happen. However, BD needs to face the justice system. Kendra was someone's daughter. Her parents deserve justice. BD's parents need to allow that if it's in their power IMO.

Agree. But more than likely. They helped before the arrest warrant came in. So anything before the known arrest warrant will not be considered aiding and abetting. And its not against the law to say talk to my lawyer.

Lol. I really do want her caught. But just like the rest of you. I was ticked off when LE let her go without stipulations. So i don't mind LE having to run around to catch the person who they never should have lost sight of in the first place. Lol. When they first let her go. I thought wth. Are they crazy.

I do think that if I were the loved one in this case I would turn her in because of my love for her. She is on the run. How is she surviving? Who is helping her? What are they wanting in return for helping her? I would be more scared how she may get brutalized and murdered on the run than I would be of her getting the death penalty. IMO

Agree. I want justice for Kendra as well. As we all do and did from the very beginning. This was a senseless crime and it still baffles me. 3 people set out to kill a woman that they didn't know because of who she dated and because 1 of them was jealous.

I hope they all get a taste of that Real Texas Tea. All of them.

I'm glad you mentioned this. And you are so truly right. And due to your statement; I will now recant.

Mexico is a crap hole for most women. So if my daughter was out there and alone. I would probably feel more safer with her in prison. Atleast that is better than some other possibles that can happen. Agree totally.

Actually, aiding and abetting has nothing at all to do with the timing of the arrest warrant. They'd still be on the hook.

ETA: If they knew she had committed the crime.

I think I know how to get BD back. Have the ex contact BD's family and tell them that he had no idea how much he meant to BD and now that he gets the depth of her love he understands why she did what she did, and he just wants to be with her, whatever it takes. Then arrange a meeting. (See, now my brilliant idea is blown because I shared it publicly!)

If you give your child money while they are legally not charged. Then that is not aiding and abetting from the law.

Jmo.
Obviously!!!!. These people are talking about NOW. Now that she has a warrant out for her arrest. NOW that its the real deal.

Any thoughts at all in the DFW media, as to the whereabouts of BD???
